Sounds like it could replace Humanity in Psykana-melody-combos to make them include our Xeno friends.

And sounds like the Kil'drabi could use some of the Chaos resistance that Starchild faith would give them.

Question, but whats a psykana Melody, and whats it all about exactly? Oh, and are their a limited option of them, or are they a basicly infinite number of concepts to melody with?

Snort like please the other choice isn't even an option no one would choose it. Even if in character it'd probably be the choice the kil'drabi would take given past experiences and not willing to risk the safety of the whole community over an unknown maybe.

Is something we haven't used yet.
Its something the Choir (our psykers) uses. Depending on what melodies we have unlocked they can have different effects.
For example we have confirmation that with the right melodies a Choir (group of 5 psyker) could do the Work of a Navigator and be only slightly worse than a Void Abacus. (And could offer the other benefits a choir can offer while they aren't busy navigating.

Unlocking a melody when we have the Potential melody takes 1 AP.

Okay yeah obviously we're going to want the Psyker Kil'drabi and get us them paths.

Going forward we may want to start doing the integration for these guys soon, since they can't even have any Psykers without them immediately falling to Chaos apparently. So if we want them to prosper and stand somewhat of a chance against other Psychic races we should get them hoped on the Star Child faith.

Having been brought under the gentle embrace of the Star Child and giving tribute to those who fight in its name for a better galaxy, the Kil'drabi represent the first among many Xeno species we shall show an existence beyond fighting for only themselves. Already culturally compatible with the ideals and tenets of the Star Child, focusing on community and cohesion against the dangers of the void and long travels, bringing them fully into the fold would be a boon for all. Though that will most likely happen naturally over a century or two, just not as thorough as some may like, thanks to their small numbers and frequent contact with us.
(Gain: The Kil'drabi are slowly converted to the Cult of the Star Child and given more resistance to the predations of Chaos.)

Community should also be really nice.
Protect + Community
Etc.
Especially If we want the Kil'drabi to be able to have their own Choir for Warpnavigation.
Humanity melody (for the people on the ship that are to be protected) is much less effective for them. Community may be able to replace that to avoid the effectivity drop.
