    • The party of nine from where they had entered in the night comes out to a party of seven, all of them looking as two more of their numbers have vanished. And so like every night prior, the two missing are revealed.



    The first is revealed as Reisen Inaba, Moon Rabbit on Earth (@Shalmoa), who 'died' from a Knock on the Head.



    The second is revealed as Alice Margatroid, Seven-Colored Puppet Master (@dinomannitro6), who 'died' from being Knocked Out In A Closet.

    And a message is left upon the table to read.

    Reevals needed on Walker's flip
    Everyone needs progressions now IMO
    Hobo's vote NAI even if late due to self-pres
    Other votes probably won't get good info at this point
    Not sure if absences are notable right now (Dino/Comi, YP to a lesser extent)

    It's actually just exhibit A for why people ban lore solves because like I have no idea on what merits to even begin judging this on a social level other than "yo I think this dude might like 2hus"
     
    That's not like trying to knock people for liking something it's just like a balancing effect for threadposting.

    Ain't nobody gonna thoughtcrime you for speculating in your role pm or like in your notes but like I explicitly attempt to fuck with people who do this by tacking on roles that might not make more sense and Pawn has close enough of a hand in this that I wouldn't count out that possibility of occuring.

    I didn't include this in the post because I'd have to go through my sources again but IIRC the former had something to do with Yuyuko's ability to manipulate death and the meaning / mystical properties of the Saigyou Ayakashi and the latter leveraged Kaguya's power of eternity, so even with their big rituals they still fall within their power sets... again I don't know this for sure but I'm pretty sure it was the case

    /shrug. this conversation started because someone was like "I can use tv tropes to read up on what a character might do" and someone else said "no" and I was like "but yes actually," like you said I'm mostly trying to explain why someone who knows lore here can be a bother for newer players

    Yeah I'm not trying to bash it either I'm just kinda also going "that's a lot of words that I have no idea how to judge in context of a game of mafia so I probably am just *not*".
     
    I play this game for social deduction I don't really care if people want to solve I probably am not going to get involved beyond like 'theres probably 4 Mafia'* and other general statements.

    *This is not saying there is or isn't 4 Mafia' I am pulling this number outta my ass to illustrate the broader point I have. I am not thinking about setup composition at all because it's day fucking one and we haven't seen a single body or actual night action claim yet.

    but yeah honestly like I'm kinda trying to figure out how to move on right now, like I have my opinion and it's whatever but getting completely caught up in doing nothing but talking about the flavor gets us nowhere

    But yeah, outside of memes or unless someone else asks that's probably going to be my last flavor related post for a while: I don't know all the deets but SV mafia games apparently have a bad history with lore solves so count on me to be the first person to go hands off with that here, the reason I went in so deep is because powers and abilities are one of those things that are sufficiently nebulous enough that I kinda had to do the whole lore drop to explain how someone might be able to read role sheets if they know what they're looking for with the discussion topic at the time being based around Rule 1

    With that being said though it's probably a good time to move past that now, so yeah

    Morgans has ruined every single game they've been in in multiple ways.

    I still get traumatic flashbacks from the time we aimed a kill at Morgans and it bounced off onto a teammate.

    Like why the f do you make the role nk immune leaving it vulnerable would've been the only thing possibly keeping it in check

    Look, I'm not voting you for this, but it's really bad. I'm all for sharing info generally, but pressuring others to share information when you're not willing to give up info yourself is incredibly gauche.

    This really shouldnt' be our D1 topic, with 21 people and an unknown number of scum Keeping obfuscations in place of our possibilities is likely the best route forward.

    Not to mention I don't like this as it feels like a negative way to impact discussion for town. It leads to incidental leaking which in the long run we tend to suffer from if history repeats. I can't really remember a case where slight leaking of info lead to a positive result for town.
