How did Tiffany do that? Source code compliance lasts the whole scene and enforces language compliance in our presence. It should not be possible to speak English.
Ok then, I guess we have our first two major splendors scheduled - one for Lydia, and one for Molly. We need more reagents, and Lydia needs to buy her 5 dot charm.
"[Each to one, husk and shell, is rooted? Death and False Making? One lays brood, the other devours? Devours Dreams?]"
You feel the truth of that, there are two forces Outside, united in purpose yes, not in nature , but the once demon hisses in frustration to more than match your own: "[Imperfect insight. Memory severed to purpose, only relevant to Harry because of Atavistic nature.]"
[Clarification?] The sudden worry for Harry makes whatever that was.
"[Mortal man spans the spiral, rooted in thread at heart. Older than stars. Some are born under old stars, fated/chanced with power over/affinity with the Qliphoth-Things, power to serve, power to break. Once priest guide bridge, then hand with flame/sharpness]."
I am still saying that in the mixed universe, Starborn are almost certainly people meant to be Sidereals. The worrying part of this is that some of the Outsiders might be Maidens Neverborn analogues.
Just hanging out in the deep nevernever speaking with a hell queen, fallen Angel, and knight of the cross in ancestral enochian on the true nature of the Oblivion War and his personal relevance to it.
@DragonParadox does the language we were using give him a more accurate insight to their nature than he'd have otherwise have, since it can describe these concepts more precisely and out charm would enforce his understanding of what was said?
... I don't think he's actually present at all for the scene?
Now that we know about Archive, we should use something of hers to learn everything there is to know about Exalted that has been written down. If nothing else to make sure that Molly is not on the list of Oblivion War's targets. Which she might be.
[X] Plan gathering allies
-[X] We should contact the Venatori, they are natural allies and experts in this kind of thing
--[X] Have Michael write a note to the Archive, requesting a meeting at a neutral territory of her choosing regarding her primary function. Co-sign it with your name. Write down your number so she can contact you.
-[X] Bring in Harry, he is uniquely equipped to deal with these things
--[X] At the very least he should be told about his inherent power, so he's not ignorant of it and forces scheming about it.
--[X] Use Harry's birth certificate as a focus to discern the full information on what Starborn are, and give him the information in a secure way (i.e. inside your Sanctuary). If no birth certificate is available, use a recreation of a night sky at the time of Harry's birth.
I'm down. Really they can't afford not to work with us because we aren't going to stop hunting Outsiders and at some point we are going to get in each others way.
The reason not to contact Odin is because we have no way of knowing he's a member without using the Crown. So, contacting him very much discloses its existence. The only one we can contact is Archive.
Old joke. Abyssals in other editions would gain resonance when they disobeyed the world destroying cause of their Never-born masters which would steadily make them more and more uncomfortable to be around. So the joke was if you see a Abyssal and the mirrors start screaming/bleeding/etc then you had nothing to worry about he likely just saved a bus worth of school children.
However if you meet an Abyssal he seems like a normal person be very afraid he likely kills a few people every morning to keep the resonance down.
Of course it doesn't actually work that way in EvWod.
People should already know that Molly has Intellectus of some sort since we told the spy ridden WC and Gard knew she had something going on, guessing it may have been a spirit and undoubtably reported it to Odin. So they would think they either have/had a leak a mole or our method(s) are even more widereaching then expected.
So don't call asking for Odin it will only complicate things even more.
Do you really want to contact the Venatori now, when we also have decided to contact the Summer Court?
We have plans this month, escalating side-quests like this might lead to us missing them.
It may allow us to work this out even faster if we had help.
Then again your right we should be able to do the Vegas thing then come back to this. Lily should be fine in the meantime.
Unless Nemesis freaks out if he hears of our interaction with Lily and decides to escalate after we hit his other shard in Vegas lol. This is the problem with fighting a hivemind type enemy.
They may even be willing to lend us a hand or advice at least with the Vegas shard you never know.
It's probably just because we've been talking about crafting, but I wonder if we can make something to help with the bear effort.
Specifically using this:
Perhaps with elongation of the curse or mystic fortification we could make it take longer to wear off.
We'd just need a valid way to make an outer god a target. Which is a bit of a trick, but if they can be targets of summoning magic it seems like it should be possible to work something out.
We could try to do this in reverse. Target the followers, not the gods. A combination of

The Splendor takes the form of something that is evocative of the fantastic. It might be a child's
toy, a brightly-decorated banner, a monster or carnival mask, or a treasure chest. It might be a
kaleidoscope, or a bundle of bright balloons. This Element defines the Splendor's physical form
and gives it a character, and that character is aligned with the power of the Dreaming. Other
Elements may draw upon this fact.
The Splendor stands out as a powerful work of magic when seen with chimerical eyes or mystic
scrutiny, but it seems nigh-impossible to credit it with any specific significance if observed with
purely mundane senses. Even when presented with compelling evidence that there's something
weird about the object, anyone who hasn't made a magical survey of the Splendor must make a
Willpower roll against difficulty (4 + Splendor's rating) to accept such a conclusion.
As an Adornment, it raises the difficulty to affect the user with hostile works of Glamour by one.
As the basis for a Fascination, it may have one minor impossible feature such as floating in
defiance of gravity, reflecting people's true selves when looked into, or aging backwards in time.

A fruit of arts both new and older than time itself, the Holy Text of Ignorance takes a form of a text, either printed or existing as a website. In the ancient times, it might have been a fruit. It is written in the impossible language that lies at the root of all languages, and is understood by all, whether they want to or not. On its pages, in the 3125 symbols that defy perception and long for expression, the paradox of understanding is contained, a blessed poison of the mind. In it, the Outside is defined in precise enough detail to horrify even the gods themselves, and yet it is not a definition which one can use to access it, for it is the definition of absence, the borders of reality marked in text and drawing. To learn it is to forget it, to become utterly incurious and incapable of caring for it. It is enchanting enough of an experience that all but the most strong willed will become utterly addicted to it immediately, coming back to read it again and again, reinforcing their holy ignorance each time, and bringing more and more people to read it.

Difficulty Lock
In Exalted vs World of Darkness, the difficulty
of your rolls never goes over 9. If something suggests
that it should push the difficulty to 10, it remains at
9 instead.
Design Note: This is a decision made simply be-
cause the math on difficulty 10 rolls is fucked to the
point of being utterly nonfunctional on any roll where
you aren't invoking a Caste Ability or a specialty. Un-
less one of those mechanics is in play, the size of your
dice pool is literally irrelevant because every die has an
equal chance to add or take away a success.
I think you previously ruled that it works like this: difficulty adjusters are applied first, and if the difficulty is still 10 or more, then it resets to 9.

The text is doable, though it can be recognized for what it is before they finish reading with a Perception Awareness roll also DC 9
As for impossible rolls I am pretty sure we have already had what would have been impossible rolls that you only get to do with DC reducers A DC 9 roll can technically be done by a random mortal who gets lucky enough and some things are just 'you have to be this magical to get a shot'.
Technically it's stupid easy just get a piece of paper and talk to the archive. Write down our number then say Ms.archive someone is trying to make a new mask for an old god.

Random mortal would get DC 10+ in that scenario, which in ST system means they would need additional successes to get just failed roll with zero successes, ie DC 11 is DC 10 with additional requirement of 11-10=1 succes so he would need minimum 2 successes to get just one

difficulty. If not otherwise disturbed by pressing business, they'll idle in the presence of the

Idling in the presence of the Fascination for one hour is a frequent activation condition for
Splendors with this Element.
Would it still be possible to stop reading the text?
If not, then we could in principle produce two versions - one for general consumption, the memetic hazard one, where Ivy hosts it as a site (and with a bit of social engineering it's going to be the first thing anyone finds when looking for magic), and another for targeted attacks on those confirmed to be aware of the Outside.

Unfortunately not, the thing is 'don't look at the funny magical text' is basically what Awareness is for. Unless it has some conditional circumstance like will only work on the sleep deprived such a fascination should allow you to notice what is happening.

No we didn't tell them about the spies we explicitly told them we had a kind of intellectus for our kingdom. Also the concern was less them thinking we had an intellectus and more the ask question get answer intellectus. Like even if we never told them they were going to assume we have one for our kingdom.
That's far less impressive and far more common (not common on an absolute scale, but far more common on relative scale) than what a Crown is. At best it guarantees that no traitors are ever going to enter our kingdom for fear of intellectus discovery.
