[X] My father's enemies are my enemies, that will will take more than five or ten years to deal with
I mean I figured a lot of that would be once they actually get into the hell and deals can be made. One thing you guys might want to consider is that this is a chance to get an in with non-Harry wizards. I mean they are right there and one of them seems quite intrigued by Molly thanks to her cheek when faced with senior wizards.

Also the book on Yomi Wan we wrote, that Harry gave to the WC.COMMENTARY
Wait, how did Wu Min stonewall Molly's social Perception *checks* ah.
I assumed we had All Things Betray running; apparently not.
Thats an oversight.
We have Subterfuge 3, Leadership 3. And both are Key Abilities.
We should probably remember to get those up to 4-5 soon.
Especially if we have any intention of further high-stakes diplomacy.
Similarly, see Appearance and how it works passively on people.
Worth noting what Morgan can be expected to know about Molly at a minimum:
- Molly's school records. There may or may not be a record of disciplinary issues
- She has a juvenile criminal record for drug possession; probably sealed at 18, but its trivial for wizards to get the details
- Molly's kidnapping to Winter by a bunch of fetches; Dresden was one of the people who got her out.
- Her father is the senior serving member of Heaven's direct action arm
- Her association with Lydia Rhi, teenage daughter of an old god turned Winter vassal
- Molly having the juice/connections, resources and goodwill to put Einherjar in the field at short notice. A short platoon of supernatural mercs operating in Chicago wouldnt have been covert, Murphy probably told the Librarians about it
- Her....kinetic dispute with a war party of Kakuri. The shen of Chicago noticed the killings, and we did send lesser akuma PoWs to the Library. Plus, Brother Dev lives with a member of the Venator Umborum, who are Council allies.
- Her working with the White Court's leadership to enact a purge of the Skavis leadership
- Everything we told the Merlin; he's Langtry's dude, and the Wardens of the Merlin's escort do report to him.
He probably doesnt know about Molly's dealings with Winter, since Mab and Maeve appears to have gone to some effort to keep the members of their Court from casually gossipping about it.
And Dresden's debt to Mab appears to have never been public knowledge.
And even though the missing plane made the news, he appears to not be aware of Molly's road trip to Mexico. Yet.
When viewed in that light, BronzeTongue's writein seems to strike a reasonable balance.
And probably best fits the picture drawn by her involvement with a Knight of the Cross, a White Council wizard, a Shih monk and some members of Chicago's minor talent community at one end, while making deals with the White Court andOdinDonnar Vadderung at the other.
At 18.
Eh nah Gods a superior even if we become a primordial. You could argue an arch angel is possibly an equal to us then though.Let's see, making Winter obsolete, and having Tea with God as the closest thing to an equal, respectively.
I hope you understand who Theion and, consequently, Malfeas was based on?Eh nah Gods a superior even if we become a primordial. You could argue an arch angel is possibly an equal to us then though.
Baby primordial is baby primordial. We are less baby primordial right now so much as gestating primordial.I hope you understand who Theion and, consequently, Malfeas was based on?
That was part of the reason I wanted to take them home with Molly. One thing you guys might want to consider is that this is a chance to get an in with non-Harry wizards. I mean they are right there and one of them seems quite intrigued by Molly thanks to her cheek when faced with senior wizards.
I am pretty sure we were anonymous in authoring that book before handing it off to Dresden. Also the book on Yomi Wan we wrote, that Harry gave to the WC.
For one thing, we are not discussing the details of how our powers work with them.Do we have any plans for addressing the "Mercy in Servitude is another form of slavery" angle?
For one thing, we are not discussing the details of how our powers work with them.
Nor do I think they expect us to.
For another, MiS is not slavery.
Anyone can choose to give up its effects by simply thinking about it.
Any of the Whampires here could turn and leave and go back to feeding on people with no issue.
Sounds reasonable. I doubt Molly nor any of the Wardens have enough grounding in leftist theory to take another angle there now that I think about it.For one thing, we are not discussing the details of how our powers work with them.

She's also probably one of the relative few that get how big a deal it is. We were told that demons don't share some things for blood or money, and that book is basically a highlight reel of everything Yomi Wan doesn't want anyone to know unless you've sold your soul first. If anyone will know, I'd bet on Wu Min, who as an Eastern wizard and diplomat has particular interests in that direction.
Even if they were a wizard's life experience doesn't exactly encourage an inability to handle nuance. A straight exchange where either party can quit at either time and the benefits are themselves clean long term probably isn't going to get treated the same as all the actual slavery they see on a routine basis even if it's not exactly maximum possible freedom. For all the many potential issues with that setup it's leaps and strides ahead of the curve for the supernatural.Sounds reasonable. I doubt Molly nor any of the Wardens have enough grounding in leftist theory to take another angle there now that I think about it.
Also worth considering is the impact of noting exactly how much destabilizing force Molly has available in the Brass Courts. Also most wizards probably would not much care even if it were slavery. In only works on non-humans and of those the nastier ones. The Laws of magic being what they are there is a lot of othering going on here for the sake of the wizards' sanity.
Probably all of the Senior Council would get the implications immediately if they noticed it.She's also probably one of the relative few that get how big a deal it is. That's not really an "also this" level entry to our CV.
And here I thought one of the benefits of being self-employed was never having to answer that question again. What next, "What would you say are your greatest strengths and weaknesses?"

We can cripple Red Court rather easily, even without Masquerade violations. Load up on MOAB equivalents (@DragonParadox what do our courts have in terms of high explosives? Probably not nukes, but some manners of bunker busters), use a crown on one of the prisoners to learn the locations of all Red Court strongholds, use RVD to get there (or do strafing runs from stratosphere). Or buy Prince of Ruin Attitude, find some missing nukes, and use that. Or buy Principle-Invoking Onslaught and do actual orbital bombardment from multiple kilometers in the air.Force that could, say, decisively alter the Vampire War in the next month if she was willing to ignore collateral and Masquerade consequences and just ham into Latin America.

We have enough foci to have complete intelligence supremacy, and enough resources to turn said supremacy into complete annihilation.
I'm pretty sure engaging in a heavy strategic bombing is a masquerade breach, even if we do it so fast no one is sure what specifically is going on.We can cripple Red Court rather easily, even without Masquerade violations. … is this one of those things where Molly dope slapping the elemental would help?no one has figured out how to make them do anything complex... but all they need to do in this situation is burn and race after any survivors like a wall of flame.

Not sure it's a masquerade breach so much as it's likely to get blamed on terrorist organizations.I'm pretty sure engaging in a heavy strategic bombing is a masquerade breach, even if we do it so fast no one is sure what specifically is going on.
… perhaps especially then.
Either way it would make our next conversation with the Library interesting.
Librarian: On one hand her high altitude bombing reflex confirms she's really an American, on the other she's definitely not listening to us and we have no control of her explosive sources.
