Death isnt casual, even for the Courts.
And the Wheel as described is not a pushbutton system; its not under the control of the residents, works to its own purposes, and takes its own time, which are usually, but not always predictable.
You cant kill someone and decide they'll be back in x timespan.
Nice work. So, here is the final Sorcery document. I added an index to make it much, MUCH more easier to navigate.
I probably wouldnt use any part besides maybe the Sorcerous Working bit, but I can appreciate the work that went into this.
COMMENTARY
1)Duffle bag of $100s? *checks*
Your standard military duffle would fit around $2.3 million dollars, which would weigh roughly 50 pounds/23 kilograms.
Thats useful. Many thanks to Arianna for funding Christmas.
The cocaine will probably be of some academic interest to the biochemists and alchemists of the Brass Courts.
Lotsa phones and laptops
2) Study can even be reasonably explained to the Reds as being to their benefit if we want.
Establishing a medical baseline for the species is something that benefits the PoWs in case they have a mundane or supernatural medical issue that needs to be dealt with, and looking for any potential hostile interactions between their magical biology and the Hells environment and residents is better done sooner than later.
Molly can even spare a corpse for an autopsy. She'll get most of it back.
3)The Reds must be so confused to hear Seeker call Molly sister.
And Seeker behaves like someone deprived of social interaction. And quite likely doesnt even see it.
The kind of person who would pull on a person's pigtails for attention as a kid.
4)Fascinating insight into how the Reds social control works.
And a little insight into exactly how much effort it would require to dismantle the Red Court's support infrastructure without having everything descend into chaos and bloodshed.
5) I dont really see any of the humans leaving.
Not when Molly takes time to talk with them while burning Essence properly. Might be worth looking for the families of those with living family for relocation in a year or so, but that something for the intelligence services of the Courts to do.
6) Wonder what happened to the pilots?
Im assuming they are pure mortals; the training for jet airliner pilots rather precludes their being Reds or half-Reds.
Should be 3x half-Reds/infected, not 2x. Add 7x Red PoWs, and 8 mortals, and we're looking at 18 people to transport.
They are known to the Red Court. All of them have families, friends or acquaintances through whom leverage can be applied; see Sofia, who ran away from an abusive family and was still talking about her friend who snapped and was killed.[X] Plan Investigation and investments
-[X] [VAMPIRES] Study
-[X] [INFECTED] Study, including searching for ways to cure the condition, including studies of how the turning of the Wheel interacts with the condition (volunteers only)
-[X] [HUMANS] Limited Access
--[X] Rehabilitation programs - they require those.
---[X] See if any of them are worth recruiting after they are better. As Earth natives they could be useful as agents
So thats a hard no.
Besides, like I said earlier, I am reasonably sure Molly can talk them around to not leaving if she wants.
Using the Delirium table, 76% of mortals are Willpower 5 or lower, 63% are Willpower 4 or lower.
And these arent randoms, they are Red victims; I suspect that high Willpower is a contra-survival trait among those Red victims cultivated for food and service as opposed to autonomous action.
