Although I can see that a living mortal wouldn't count, could you manufacture Wan Kuei in the following way:

1) Use Inner Devil to awaken someone's Po.
2) Kill them
3) Have Lydia bind their Hun to stay in the vicinity of their corpse
4) Take their Po to Hell
5) Set them the trial to escape
6) if they do, release their Hun so the app joins back up with it.

The big issue would probably be the need to teach them a dharma, which we don't know the details of.

Yes, that would work, you are just shepherding the soul to make sure it goes where you want.

I thought we agreed on five billion as the upper limit, since you didn't want too many? Not that I am complaining at all. Oh, is this counting the rebel tribes, and the population of the wastes and the forests and such? Or not just sophonts, but animal souls too?

thats fair I was thinking more overt stuff when I said it not thinking about that. I definitely don't think its payed its cost though cause for mentor 5 we could get someone who could actually teach us things. Like hes fairly close to peak humans but most of michaels skills are social or sword focused and expert by human standard skills. Most of the former which he can't teach and hes a great dad otherwise who would of helped us anyways. I want a damn primer or something out of that mentor 5 cause while I never said its been useless it sure as hell hasn't been worth as much as even some minor charms like the one which gives improvement when being soaked by water.

Hmm. Depending on the details of the reincarnation method on the Hell, I wonder if you could something like:

1) Use Inner Devil Unchained to awaken the Po of someone in the Hell
2) they die in the Hell and their soul splits in two
3) the Po attempts the trials to escape
4a) If the Po escapes then the Hun and body is relocated to Earth to allow the second breath to take place
4b) if the Po fails to escape then the reincarnation process engages, merges the Hun and Po back together and, and resurrects them in a living body.

That would not work sadly. Their Po would have no reason to try to escape, Hell, at least this hell, would be natural to them
 
Its a good thing we have good charisma and social skills when interacting with our future advisors who actually manage well the administration parts. Cause fuck I just imagine a jefar on our shoulder if not.

Can't our natives do it by climbing the spires (or whatever their called) and rejecting the world? Its legal but pretty much the same as making yourself a permanent exile of society as it means rejecting everyone here.

Would it work if you brought in someone from outside? The reincarnation works on anyone who dies in the hell, not just natives, I think.

Also, couldn't you teach loyal citizens that it is their duty to escape the trap that the Hell is so
They can serve their God Empress better on the inside.

Probably a bit late; but you could have cults of people training all their lives just for the chance to die, and in death transcend to be able to serve their goddess anew.
 
I am still convinced that we should try having Usum learn from Amoracchius. If Dad is our mentor, officially so as a Knight of the Cross, then his Sword should mentor ours.

I am truly curious - who is freaking out more right now, Harry or Lash? I mean, Harry is likely more out of his depth - Lash probably remembers the act of Creation by White God. On the other, Lash understands more than Harry and has more mental capacity to grasp the magnitude of the event.

For the second, the reason I think it could work is that you can awaken the Po soul while they're still alive.

You can also have Po souls that are fully sapient and quite sophisticated, such as canon ones that want to embrace modernity and reject traditional values, or ones that want to do the opposite, etc. A Legalist Po is driven to obey the orders of superiors and is enraged when inferiors refuse to do so. A Sage Po wants you to follow the wisdom of the ancients and is enraged when it's proved inaccurate, etc
