Fun fact, Bloodless Murk Evasion can be used to teleport. Being able to teleport right into your enemies face means you don't need ranged attacks.

I just realized that Hellscry Chakra should allow us to read Lash's emotions. Normally I might worry about them getting mixed up with Harry's since they use the same head, but Harry isn't a CoD. That is likely to actually be kind of weird talking to Harry, but seeing Lash's responses to Harry's thoughts.

And of course being able to see Lash that way means that we can use NWS on her.

So many things to buy with only so much XP.

I admit the prospect of terrifying speed is deeply tempting, making a dynamic entry at the speed of sound sounds deeply cool especially if it involves being the cavalry for someone.

Harry has yet to make an emergency call but I expect that he will do at some point.

However telekinesis has nearly limitless utility along with stunts, the benefit to intimidation is obvious given Molly could do a credible imitation of Darth Vader in long distance choking.

But then saving a good chunk for Molly's own world is another prospect.

I mean for the red court thing in the aztec empire the red king is 5000 years old their empire very much should of existed when the aztecs got decimated by disease. The limiting factor for the gods by the creator definitely should be older than that period too.

I have known Exalted games where the players save XP and just buy the charms in play as the need arises. It works so long as you are only using a single book. Although some make it so you can only buy favored charms that way.

It allows for fairly cool power ups at times of stress. Like you hear Harry is in trouble at the other side of town. Quick buy swift stride and run to him faster than you have ever managed before and break the sound barrier.

It seems a little odd to get swift stride without having Running to Forever to make that huge running speed useful in combat.
Not really. One is not a prereq for the other.
Do remember that the QM rolled for intercept when we left the ice rink where Maeve and Mab were.
Its nice to have the option to outrun pursuit if necessary.

Why? It does not seem relevant?
Because a higher top speed means that when you are mote tapped, you can still run away at near-supersonic speeds.

There's a group of cannibal sorcerers and their god of terror patron in the greater Chicago area right now.
They have actively struck at us once already.
I think that should take priority in our spending decisions right now over saving XP for the future.

Remember that the world has its own inertia, and wont just pause until we're ready.

Our kingdom allows us to retreat from combat as well. It even lets us bring party members with us so we aren't abandoning them to their fate.

The Red Court are not something Molly knows about inherently from having a demon in her head but according to Bob you at least know that the Red King and company were not the Aztec Gods and that they stole at least the names of said gods. The reason he says 'at least the names' is because both names and faith have power so they might have gotten a bit more out of that, depending on how their general nature (of which Bob knows little) interacted with people thinking that they are gods.

I rather assumed that the Red King and his Lords are the gods whose identities they assumed, given the Red Court are vampires.

Well then

While she wears her Shintai form, the world around the Infernal is fractured into a jagged landscape of tortured and bleeding Essence, where all actions taken to oppose her suffer a –3 penalty
Well then you will be happy to note and I will be sad to note that it doesn't actually increase enemy DC by 3 on all actions just reduces their dice pool by 3. Good, but we aren't beating Mab with it.

Also no idea where you got the idea that it makes our actions easier (again) when you have said that is not the case less then an hour ago.
1)*checks again*
Yeah, a -3 penalty to your actions, not your dice pool.

2)Do the math about what happens to an opponent's dice pool when the DC they are rolling against goes up by 3.

Honestly the correct counter to enemy organizations is Endless Torment Emanation. +2DC to their entire operation, makes even attacking random mortals a deadly threat to them.

No it doesnt work like that.
Endless Torment Emanation (•••)
By interacting with one of its officers or agents, or
else touring its workplace, the Infernal directs the pow-
ers of Hell to confound and corrode the works of a bu-
reaucracy or project, cursing it to inefficiency and misery.
Tempers grow short, spirit-maggots eat important paper-
work when nobody's looking, and in general attempting
to get anything done becomes a sort of quiet torture.

System: The character can spend 3 Essence to tar-
get a specific office or project with terrible inefficiency
for the rest of the current story
. Everyone involved in
pushing the project forward increases the difficulty of
all rolls to do so by +2. Additionally, if there's a central location for the targeted bureau or project, it becomes a place of spiritual desolation while the Charm remains in effect.
That has prerequisites we cannot meet with this group.
They dont exactly have a front office we can call.

OK, you know what? To hell with compromises. I want what I want

Ox body for protection, Craft because I want Craft very much, and ,again, Odin and Last Stwtion. 6 xp banked for Kingdom. Should be enough.

[X] Plan: For the Kingdom

It is kind of funny; I was prolly the earliest advocate of the mind-hand in this thread. Oh well.

Deeply disinterested in filling signature slots with garbage. First Kingdom, then second slot, Spite. Second slot opens at E5, which could be 1-2+ years of play at this pace. By then, Signature Shadow Spite dunking on 99% of everything would be very appropriate.

That is to say, if we don't achieve roughly the same effect with Fortune 3-4ish, by then. It is hard to judge how things gonna that far in the future.

I definitly favor Kingdom as our Signature Charm.

Turning parts of the environment into your Hell has endless opportunities for flavor and stunts.
And mechanically it's not bad either.
