Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

Which is kind of funny because Lydia isn't what I would call good. I mean yeah she has sympathy for the dead and she values her friends, but push comes to shove she still got her morals from one of the Old Gods, directly and by reading material plus the kind of tutors he hired. If someone gets into a legitimate deadly feud with her Lydia would treat it like it's 60 AD and she is queen of the Iceni.
I mean, Lydia's direct celestial upgrade is some kind of Abyssal lookalike. Of course she's not exactly good.

Ok, so Lydia can't be the token good girl of the group. The Vatican needs to send us a catholic schoolgirl. Maybe one with nunchucks.

And no to male representation. 100% all teenage girls out to save the universe wielding the power of friendship and darkness.

We need to pull Lash out of Harry's head so she can be the token Denarian on the team.

[X] Plan Icy plunge

Nemesis is about to have a bad time, and the best part of it is that it has no idea its cover is blown. Exalted-grade Intellectus just be like that I guess.

Hopefully we get the chance to use its moles/traitors as interrogation vectors to ask a few more questions with the Crown, and hopefully grab Justine and whoever else Nemesis has, outside of the Winter Court.

Mab has DC reductions on her appearance rolls?
She likely has BSM-equivalent difficulty adjuster in Winter conditions. I am more surprised at how low her dicepools were. I mean, I fully expected her to be rolling 20 in all social areas. Unless she hasn't activated her excellency yet (in which case we are totally screwed and my play is our only chance), Molly has dicepools approaching Mab. And I don't think Mab actually expected that.

No then it would apply to all dice rolls. Maybe Mab simply has access to an amazing tailor.

Alas that would be Expression not craft, you would not be trying to make Molly's face more functional.
So if we find a friend who is amazing at fashion we can turn all their dreams into reality, but Molly is somewhat lacking in that sense herself. Shame that indicates that her piercing and such aren't really making the statements she is going for.

Best is subjective. We can likely make the world's healthiest product, but as an Exalted we could likely get away with wearing lead make up. So not as helpful for us.
Our blemish cream always goes on smooth. Our hair spray never goes tacky. Our lipstick never smears.

But all that falls back to mundanity without the creative spark to turn the merely extraordinary into legend.

Yeah, that would be Appearance + Expression to produce the message she's trying to make with how she presents herself. With that die pool she would probably come across as derivative, try hard, and probably a bit embarrassing.

Amusingly, her parents disapproval of the way she dresses could partially not be because it's untraditional, but because she's just so bad at it.

The benefit of dressing in a standard way and not trying to make a personal statement is that it's much harder to screw it up.

Molly is pretty sure Charity is not being an art critic when she complains about the hair and the piercings. Michael though is harder to read, mostly because his disapproval manifests a lot more by a placid: "Is that new? Are you sure you won't get cold in that?" etc...

Well hopefully some minion that comes along will be able to pay off it's service with fashion tips. That is one of the advantages of casting a wide net.

I'm afraid cannibals, runaways and runaway cannibals do not make good stylists. Isabela might have learned something about it ... if she had not been too busy learning from a man whose sense of style went out of fashion before the Punic Wars.
Not as big a handicap as you might think considering who our high stakes negotiations tend to be with.

Crown Focus.
Backup defense for someone; maybe Rosie, or a member of Cauldron.
Use the expended item as a Crafting component.
Keep it as a memento; not many people get gifts from Mab.
Don't know if it works for Cauldron. It has to use used by someone without power. So one of our younger siblings seems like the target. Stop them from being abducted by fletches. Which is likely the idea Mab had in mind.
