Was not Thomas bascily running on near empty as the norm. With perfect control he can fill up as much as he can store really.More like he is actually finding it easy to keep his tank at full. His hair Salon is basically perfect for a White Vampire with perfect control.
We don't even need the book, the sourcebook says that it's wisdom can be found in all kind of tragedies.
I don't even know if White Vampires even have a max tank or if they do it must be somewhat flexible or there is no way the white king could have kept up the pretend for about 30 years. Was not Thomas bascily running on near empty as the norm. With perfect control he can fill up as much as he can store really.
Nah.Rembmer, MiS gives perfect Hunger control. Thomas under our service is likely far more dangerous than he is outside of our service. I mean, depending on how "perfect hunger control" translates, it might well be "you don't learn new disciplines, but you roll the disciplines you have as if they were at 5 dots".
I'd still have gone to Lydia's place. This was actually one of my reasons to go to Dresden - Lara was evidently under surveliance (the spy), and her security was lacking. It's likely that the naagloshii's preparation was against her, and it was effective. We can't assume that her security is not compromised.
Not really. One thing it might do is leave you with a body to explain if it works a bit too well
As for the VEE charm I think @Yog's idea of making it so you have to trick reality into thinking a year has past is the most thematic, XP-intensve yes, but it's not like XP generation is slow in the quest.
Due to our low perception rolls before(some of which we couldn't even see we failed so bad) I'd bet the Nag has been spying on us aswell.Besides, if the naagloshii has people watching Lara's place, how do we know it doesnt have people watching Dresden's place?
He's the local Warden commander, and someone it already tried to setup for murder. It will keep an eye out.
Not really.
No more than Dresden and Mouse breaking Cassius' neck at the Museum in Dead Beat and leaving the body, or the Denarian cultist that Michael stabbed to death through a door in Death Masks at the airport.
The only thing in the car that qualifies as a recognizable weapon is Molly's shield, and as far as I know Lydia's beam doesnt leave distinctive markings anyway, or markings of any kind; its weaponized death, more or less. A bird tumbling out of the sky and turning into a mortal corpse would be a whodunnit. We just whistle and drive past.
The real question is moral/ethical about the ethics of shooting back at someone who may or may not be in his right mind.
Assuming its a mortal shapeshifter like I think, and not just a familiar or modified animal.
I wouldn't be surprised.Due to our low perception rolls before(some of which we couldn't even see we failed so bad) I'd bet the Nag has been spying on us aswell.

Fair enough.Lydia is an exalt of death invoking her heritage, the best she can do in terms of 'pulling her punch' is not choosing to spend the essence for the Agg damage, but there is no stun setting on the power of death itself summoned forth to the hunt.
If he has altered physiology because skinwalker or shapeshifter, he gets to roll soak and the damage reduces.
If he dodges, threshold sux drop.
If he has a talisman or some other similar magical item for armor, damage reduces.
If the dice hate him, he dies.
Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I see two potential problems with this action. At worst it dies. I don't consider that a big issue. It's not like they can indict Lydia or run ballistic comparison on her magic blasts.
Only if there is a time when it realize it is dying and has time to curse. Even then halfway odds it curses broken seeker for getting it into this situation.Firstly, if Lydia manages to kill it, as a mortal practitioner, wouldn't that trigger a Death Curse?
Totally different magic system. Only the political laws might matter. And secondly, and this is more shaky but I don't remember it being brought up before so I thought I'd check, does Lydia count as a mortal practitioner herself? And as such is bound by the Laws?
1) You need to be a White Council-tier wizard to be able to cast a death curse.Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I see two potential problems with this action.

I'd hate to take the shot, then have either of those potential bombs go off in Lydia's face.
Significant with regards to fluff for Lydia, who has access to her father in her head for training.1: How fast could Lash teach magic? The bit about being able to teach Harry how to heal his hand in Dead Beat implied that it was several dozen times faster than normal (because there's no way he'd be able to pick up healing before his hand healed normally on his own).
1) Teach it? VERY quickly. She could alter your perception of time and give you months of pure mental lessons in an evening. If she just did it for you while you sit in the passenger seat? She can do that instantly.
Might need to buy up the mentor level to get that sort of effect.https://www.reddit.com/r/books/comments/8ntzo3/my_name_is_jim_butcher_and_i_write_stories_ask_me/dzyl9ey/?context=3

Sounds like an interesting solution, honestly just looking for way to make the VVE more then a one an done, we never see used more then once.As for the VEE charm I think @Yog's idea of making it so you have to trick reality into thinking a year has past is the most thematic, XP-intensve yes, but it's not like XP generation is slow in the quest.
The real use of VVE is that in basically any social encounter even hostile ones we can offer to grant a wish.Sounds like an interesting solution, honestly just looking for way to make the VVE more then a one an done, we never see used more then once.
Cant see why.Might need to buy up the mentor level to get that sort of effect.
This seems to provide enough fluff justification for him to be a tutor to allow Lydia buy skills.Mentor 1 (Arawn)
(To note, this does not mean he is a bad or weak mentor, but he seemed very much the type to let Lydia figure out her answers by herself. She could propably increase this backround, representing convincing her dad to help her more)
Merits/Flaws:
Prestigious Mentor (1 pt. Merit) Your Mentor (as in the Background Trait of that name) has a reputation that benefits you as well. When you're making social rolls to invoke your influential teacher, reduce the difficulty by -2. Of course, some folks will be somewhat less than impressed; for rolls that involve rivals or enemies of your mentor, add +2 to the difficulty unless that mentor scares the shit out of them… in which case, you had damned well better be able to live up to the fear his name invokes!
That is leftover fluff from when I wrote the first version of Lydia's charsheet.Cant see why.

Just like Odin allegedly trained Merlin in the Dresdenverse. If Lash can do a training montage in Harry's head with his permission, I assume Arawn can do it in his daughter's head with her permission.

Back when Arawn was alive/awake.
I'd take it with a grain of salt and ask DP what goes or doesn't go for the current version of Arawn.
