Something Wicked (Villainous Magical Boy Quest)

(The true solution to the Estil surviving is almost definitely going to be the magical girls getting a Civilization Cultural Victory, because Estil culture itself is kind of insane and self-destructive. Even if they do take over Earth, what we've been shown of Estil outside of our group is that they casually blow up planets, so like. I give it 20 years before they doom their entire species by blowing up the Earth on a dare.)
Civilization Culture Victories involve creating a lot of tactical artwork and inducing zero redemption arcs in enemy civilizations. I feel like the magical girls would need the reverse proportions to reach a Golden Ending where both humans and Estil can live on Earth (or in the Earth-Moon system).

Anyways, Zaiyuu's goals have been stated to roughly be as follows:
1: Ensure the Estil have a future.
2: If possible, allow humans to maintain their current way of life.
3: Keep people he likes safe, but only if they want him to

Item 1 is probably something Shayin would be breathing down Zaiyu's neck over, if scope creep didn't get in the way. Rins and Mitl wouldn't be too far behind, but they both have their own priorities. Items 2 and 3 are going to depend on how much leeway The Captain is going to give him. So far Shayin is being reasonable with what Zaiyu's been showing him, but I have to wonder when he's going to see humanity, or at least the Sakurazaka Corporation, as a threat to their colonization plans.

At the end of the day, Zaiyu is going to have to report a third Magical Girl in the area, and I'm very interested in how Shayin's going to take the news... besides pointing out that once again Zaiyu has overlooked another magical hotspot.

You guys do realise we'll have to inform Shayin about exposing ourselves in front of multiple potential enemies right? Your all just begging for trouble with this and completely compromising this identity. At least make it 2 weeks without exposing us as a potential human sympathizer.

[X]DON'T TELL ROSE : ELEMENTALISM.
Telling Rose directly wil result in Shayin being mad at us, as well as potentially the rest of the Estil, and Tomoe stalking us to find out why we, of all people, know so much about magic.
Can we make a copy of the ribbon from a transmuted slice of clothing in a short amount of time, then swipe away the magic ribbon using telekinesis/levitation/teleporation, search for it once Rose notices her hairstyle has become destabilised, and "find" the ribbon we transmuted ? And we could say, after we're a decent way from the mall, too far to go back there quickly, that we like art and the flyer inspires us for a new thing, and can we borrow it pretty please ? Or get another flyer and pull another switcheroo. All that seems a bit mean though, and I wonder what Rose would do if she found out. By the way, what would a mimicry boosting object do to a human ? Would they start randomly shapeshifting ?
How do you think Sasori should eventually wear the ribbon ? Around the neck like a kitty ? Headband ? Bracelet ?
Are sparkcats sentient ?
We should research earth video games and pets once we get back home.
I think Sasori is going to be the animal mascot while in disguise.

Is telling Rose the most strategically wise option? Nah, probably not.

But it is the option guaranteed to cause the most amount of interpersonal drama, and anyone trying to avoid that in a Magical Girl show is most assuredly not getting questionably written Coffee Shop AU fanfiction by show fans written about them in the future.

Zaiyuu doesn't think of this as human sympathizing, just a chance to infiltrate a group of humans who are guaranteed to be important to the invasion one way or the other. Anyways, have you read these human books? They're incredible!

If Shayin puts Zaiyuu in the same category of eccentric as Mitl, I'll consider it a job well done.

I know I voted to tell Rose, but if we end up with don't tell her we'll get to see Zaiyu, master of human social interaction, attempt to very subtly drop hints while not blowing his cover. Or getting distracted by dangly ribbons. Or shiny loot.

[X] DON'T TELL ROSE: ELEMENTALISM

Shayin's already got the mother of all headaches dealing with Rins and Mitl. I'd rather not add to the migraine just for the sake of drama when we told him we'd do our best to keep a low profile.

Vote 31
Voting is closed! Zaiyu will be hinting at Elementalism without saying anything concrete.

Does anyone know why we all voted elementalism? Like I don't know why I voted for it. Were we all just voting tell or don't and going with whatever magic type already had the most votes?

Idk, my guess - inane attractiveness of colorful expression and feeling, that is elemental magic compared to more effective and nonlineary dangerous types of magic. Some people perhaps thought that concentrating attention of our most likely enemy on some easy to counter magic is the way to go. Elemental damage should be easy to negate for a space faring techno magical race of scientists.
I voted drugs.
