Threads Of Destiny(Eastern Fantasy, Sequel to Forge of Destiny)

Voted best in category in the Users' Choice awards.
[X] No. In addition to potentially being a another bone to toss to the Meng, as a high profile project for their facilities here, you would rather receive results in a more reasonable time frame. (Faster turnaround on Labyrinth Loot, Smaller bonus for identification and safety. Reformer/Conservative Meng like this)

I think something to note here is that a lot of the reason it's been difficult for us to work with the MoI right now is the phase we're in.

We aren't at the actual negotiations yet, where we actually have plans about how we can allay their concerns about excessive foreign influence, work with precedent, and also serve our own interests while putting things together. Right now we're in the "trying to make friends and establish ourselves as reasonable people who can be talked with and who aren't dicks" phase and the problem is that the MoI are xenophobic and imperialist and don't like us doing that. It makes it difficult for us to avoid them being at least vaguely disapproving.

Tbh, the whole jungle angle is a much more interesting place to interrogate MoI leanings, imo. Though with the character lineups of the relevant actions, it looks like we're not getting that? Eh. Huge wasted opportunity to have the organizations play out in a visible manner that's more observable for us, from a somewhat external perspective, but not a huge deal. I guess.

Right now, I think both sides seem valid enough, as are the arguments that you know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna flip a coin and see which way it goes.

EDIT:
Sorry, Team MoI, but Meng wins this round :V

EternalObserver threw 1 2-faced dice. Reason: Meng or MoI Total: 1

A two-sided die? Immaculate Angles Everlasting is going to be pissed.

If your geometry lets you create a Mobius strip with a non-flat cross-section (i.e. a rectangle) then said strip has exactly 2 sides (the "long" side that a normal Mobius strip has, and the "short" side that is the edge of a normal Mobius strip).

Other possibilities exist, e.g. a hexagon with a 1/3 turn, a decagon with a 1/5 or 2/5 turn, ...

[X] Yes. Little enough is known, and the facilities at the capital are superior. She would like to get use out of any treasures sooner rather than later, but she would like to be certain of their safety even more. (Slower Turnaround on Labyrinth Loot, higher rolls for identification and safety. MoI likes this)

An additional benefit to proceeding with local investigation is the presence of WS experts that live in the epicenter of this phenomena. I believe their presence will kickstart our investigation much faster and I doubt the results will be much inferior to the effort Xiangmen will deign to give us when they get to it.
