Is there a way to boost the chance for a success on boosting relations with both sides and not losing relations? Because if there is I want to do it if possible.

Not a problem, the longest part was initially trolling through the thread to find the numbers. Updating the overview with new construction and losses is easy in comparison.

We already have relatively good relations with the Elder, whereas the local branch of the Mechanicus are a newly contacted group we know little about. Furthermore, I find the 40% chance of pissing everyone off to be too risky.
 
(Hay oshha may I ask a question are those 20% chances taken into account our points in diplomacy or is that just the baseline without the diplomacy modifier? ) if so . . .

Look guys we didn't invest three points in diplomacy just to look fancy we got it for situations like this

Besides if we manage to pull this off this feels like one of those achievements and that might actually give us a pont or two in the policy

There is not.

They do. Your diplomacy and charisma is what makes a peaceful option possible. Originally I was just going to give a choice of Eldar or Mechanicus before ultimately deciding that you should get something for Drake's diplomacy focus.
