But Censored was different. It was never happy, never satisfied with its interactions. That it actually has desires at all is a bit of a surprise.
*Do a quick check*
Oh, yeah, CENSORED was unable to get the *happy* result from jobs, interesting little tidbit to remember.
"This barrier will filter out any stimulus that does not originate from you. As an Abnormality, you shouldn't be affected by Censored's unique properties any more than the others."
Yeah! We get to actually
see CENSORED!
I'm betting on it taking the form of a vulnerable little girl, just because, that's definitely the best way to do white Damage to X, after all.
you do have a better plan,
Hiiiiiiissssss, controlling thought, go away!
"I declassified some of Censored's files received from other Branches after the Facility fell. One in particular performed extensive testing with it before it was moved." the Library Director answers.
...On a scale of one to ten, how much of a disaster was it and how many employees did it kill?
Because I can't see that going well.
The normally bright, warm lighting is a dull flicker. The walls, floor, and ceiling have turned a dull, rotted grey. Spiderwebs and holes dot the scene. The books, normally disorganized but taken care of, are scattered across the floor in prices and floating in puddles of thick, black tarry fluid that sizzles slightly whenever something new falls into it. The hallway forward twists slightly as it goes, having fully turned upside-down by the time it breaks off into a T-junction. Everything looks blurry and far-away until you focus on it hard enough.
At a guess, CENSORED wants to mark the place as its own, that's why it's a replica of the library with *damages*.
Even at a glance, you can tell something is horribly wrong with them. Each creature looks less like it's actually there are more like a hole in space leading to a person
It is in that moment you recognize that you've made a mistake. If Angela's deeply unimpressed stare wasn't enough of a hint, the bizarre screeching as eight more of the monsters finish tunneling through the far wall would be a pretty helpful sign. In a situation like this, there's only one thing to say.
"Fuck."
I agree with Angela there, you had to say the words, did you?
So just to confirm...the abnormality that is a living cognito hazard, we want to use Big Eyes on it to see it better?
I... agree, pulling the microscope is tempting fate there, we would be better served by going to communication directly without big eyes.
Here's a plan for communication:
[X] Try to Communicate?
-[x] Try to act non-threatening
-[x] Tell that you just want to talk
-[x] If CENSORED doesn't react, try looking at it by looking up, stop if it seem to react with hostility to that
-[x] if it does react but do not attack, try to strike a conversation, how do we address them (if it's not a cognihazard), what does it wants, this kind of things
Like, we know it's above us, Big Eyes is overkill, and dangerous, and what if CENSORED actually
doesn't want to be seen? Having it as an opening move is asking to cut diplomacy short, let's try other things before that.
