All Things Betray: Active. -3 DC to Perception rolls, +2 to Initiative
Demonic Primacy of Essence: Active. -2 DC to social rolls against lesser CoDs
Boiling Sea Mastery: Active. -1 DC to all rolls when wet

Willpower: 8-1= 7/9

RATIONALE
We're at the window.
Agent Greene is on the couch. Beside her, on the coffee table is Girl Vampire.
Beyond them, on the other side of the room, in the kitchen door is Old Man Vampire.

The girl is within arms reach of the victim on the couch.
Not really in position to immediately respond to an intruder coming through the window.
The old man has to draw his weapon or cross the room in order to get in melee.

The bottle only just fell from the victim's hand, so the wine is still soaking into the carpet
There's a woman collapsed on the couch, a bottle lying in shards at her feet, red wine slowly leeching into the carpet among a scattering of pills and is he not alone
We have time to get her medical help.

They are inside the Greene threshold. If they werent invited in, they are suffering a debuff.
If they were invited in, then she might know these people.
At least the old man.

Activate IPM to counter any mind magics.
Rage Recast for intimidation. Since we do it when wet we roll against DC6 instead of DC7.
Also for mobility, as it lets us through the window, and if a fight breaks out we get our sword reflexively

Molly rolls Intimidate: Cha 3 + Intimidate 4 + Excellency 7 + Stunt 2 = 16 dice
Boiling Sea Mastery + Demonic Primacy of Essence: -3DC
Assuming the original DC would be 6, with the debuffs, we have a good chance of rolling 10+ successes again, and repeating the Pathfinder nurse incident.

[X] Leap in to kill the vampires, try to save their victim

Attacking is faster then talking and seconds could matter here.
It's only faster than talking if we take them out in the first round, if they're more durable than that it dramatically slows down.

The end result also puts us in a difficult position. Either they book it and live to kill another day, or we have to get their victim medical attention with one or more corpses on hand.
In my mind this is a haste makes waste situation. We have to do it right from the start or rushing will screw the whole thing up.
^^^
Haste is not speed.
The bottle of wine is still soaking into the carpet, so it just broke. Which means the woman only just lost sufficient muscle control to drop the bottle. This isnt a "seconds count" situation.

And intimidation won't cause them to book it? Relying on being really scary to produce exactly the effect we want is a dangerous game.

This isn't haste makes waste. This is trying for the perfect solution at the cost of the good enough one.

Either of these would work.

They might book it if we're scary enough, but generally the tone of our intimidation is "bigger predator". Vampires off all people know at a bone deep level how bad an idea turning your back on something like that is.

If they're already losing a fight it's worth a shot, but barring exceptional circumstances I don't think they'll otherwise invite a chase.

I also disagree with your characterization of this as perfect at the expense of good. I don't think this guy is good enough to take on Molly, but we don't know how long he can put up a fight or how much danger he'll pose to Greene during that fight. Fighting is a gamble that we take him in one round, and even if we win we might lose if she dies anyway.

Trying intimidation involves one verbal exchange to see if we can make him fold immediately. If it works then Greene is much more likely to make it out alive. If it doesn't work then it cost an insignificant amount of time* and doesn't stop us from making the combat gamble.

* I don't think this is a seconds matter scenario, and if it is she's already dead. I don't think we can kill an adult vampire and subdue a fledgling one in a single round, then apply or acquire meaningful medical assistance in less time than it takes to get an ambulance here.

Something that having corpses or prisoners around will delay because medics will make sure the scene is safe before acting.

And intimidation won't cause them to book it? Relying on being really scary to produce exactly the effect we want is a dangerous game.

The times we've intentionally used Intimidation since we got DPoE
-LeBlanc the Rampire: He almost shit himself and grovelled.
-The Pathfinder nurse: She fainted
-The Rampire don: He decided against trying to betray us
-Adam the ghoul: He shut up and sat down

Intimidation has pretty reliably worked for us when we deliberately use it.
It will almost certainly cow the young vampire, if not the old one.
Which achieves our primary goal of stopping her feeding on the woman.

Furthermore, you want to try to kill a possible law enforcement person and his relative in a residential neighborhood with our very distinctive Mercedes CLS outside. While in close proximity to a victim.
Then somehow manage to do clean up and body disposal before the cops and EMTs get here.

Thats....optimistic. At best.

Also worth noting that if he cares about the other young vampire/fledgeling in the room?
He isnt going to want to start a fight with another supernatural predator if he can avoid it at all.
Especially since we are closer to the girl than he is.

Thats part of the reason why I voted for Rage Recast.
Flight in human-sized actors is generally a sign of a Bigger Fish.

What is the plan if we do vote to kill the vampires? They're not black court corpses, or obviously inhuman like red courts. They're human in appearance and part of human society, that's straight up murder that we can't explain the motive for.

And prison, while not the worst thing that can happen, would be a serious problem for us. This isn't dnd, we can't just stab our problems away at every turn.

If we've got to bite that bullet to save a life then so be it, but if doing so isn't even guaranteed to improve the odds of the victim it's pointless.

I really look forward to NSS. It will make legal problems of all kinds so much easier to manage.

In some ways yeah, though I can't help but think particularly obvious cases like this would turn into black holes of law enforcement resources as people join the team, learn enough to trigger the charm, then flip out due to the hell visions whenever they try to do their job. :V

In that regard ATP might be a better option.

While I won't wholly dismiss the utility of it for long term secrets. It's kind of blatant if people realize what's up. Where it really shines, is facilitating stealth game protagonist behavior. Knock somebody out and the other guards can't sound the alarm over a radio, they need some kind of hard button to press and can't actually say what's going on. The other guard would also be unable to describe us even if we didn't sneak up on them.

A Cold and Lonely World is good for setting up a patsy/fake intruder among other scenarios.

I just want to kill the older vampire, then dissapear his corpse with TTC.

The younger will be all the easier to intimidate after we cut up her mentor, from her we can hopefully hear what was happening hear and a bit of the why.

But for an adult vampire I see no real reason not to kill it when the chance presents itself.

Killing is the easy part. It has always been.
The prepwork and the aftermath? Managing that is hard, and when ignored comes with Consequences.
Both personal and people we care about.

There's a reason our PC is a teenager with a family.
It ties us hard into a community and suppprt network we need to care about.
Even murderhobos in DnD dont start slaughtering people in their home city. At least, successful murderhobo dont.

I really look forward to NSS. It will make legal problems of all kinds so much easier to manage.
Doesn't matter if it's blatant. It makes Molly impossible to convict. No way anyone could put together an entire trial and jury that could defy it.
Impossible to convict is not consequence-free.
Gentleman Marcone has also proven impossible to convict. That doesnt change the fact there's a material effect on his reputation and the people willing to associate with him.

Even Exalted doesnt have free lunches.
Activating BRR takes Essence, or a turn spend in concentration and a DC 7 Essence-Roll, which is unlikely to work at our current low Essence.
1)We dont have low Essence. We start this turn with 8/12 Essence

2)Its not a turn, its an action. Citation:
The Infernal's resentment and anger manifests itself within her flesh, granting her demonic features.
System: Select one Aspect from the list of Demonic Aspects (with the exception of Hardened Devil Body, which cannot be chosen). The Infernal can manifest this feature for a scene by taking an action to concentrate and rolling her Essence rating against difficulty 7, or by reflexively spending 1 Essence. Her Demonic Aspects automatically manifest while her anima flares.
This Charm can be purchased a number of times equal to the character's Essence rating. If the Infernal has multiple Demonic Aspects, she can manifest as many as she wishes with a successful roll or Essence expenditure. If she wishes to suppress some or all of her Aspects when her anima flares, she must succeed at a Willpower roll against difficulty 7 to do so. These do not have to be the same as her Shintai Aspects.
Thats why we can pop it reflexively.
And since we're wet, we roll at DC6 not DC7. Alternatively, we could just spend 1 WP for an autosux on the activation roll.
Or we could flare our Anima and everything activates. Not an issue atm.
