[X] The Federation will strike at the capital of Chronos.

We got a gloriana and the enough escorts, let's goooo

[X] The Federation will pick off the outlying systems first.

We rescued Conrad Kurze? I am so happy about this!!!

Correction we will not betray the emperor we will just not like how things be but we might be able to bent it to a degree
As long as the Emperor and his Ideals are what the Imperium follows I can't see anyone raised on the Federations Truths doing a damm thing he says. Let alone what the Legions does on a daily basis in the GC.
So yeah, it's either Ultramar level pocket empire with the end goal of fighting the Imperium or a doomed last stand the moment the emperor makes his Ideals known. And that's not a quest end I think anyone will be happy with.

Another Ultramar situation where Drake has his own empire within the Imperium that's most autonomous, though one not actually under his rule is the current goal when the inevitable press ganging into the Crusade happens.

As well as having a larger influence and say in the policies and treatment of the worlds Drake and his legion brings to compliance rather than moving on and letting the Imperium's organizations handle post-compliance actions.

I would rather hit the capital in an alpha strike. If they are chaos aligned then knocking out the capital to stop a potential ritual seems like the more prudent option.

I don't have time to go gallivanting across the galaxy right now.
Adventures of the farseer and the admiral
On a ork infested jungle world
A farseer and a giant of a man can be seen floating face up in a lake with a crashed and burning ship not too far off
Eldrad I . . . have a plan
Drake . . . that was my favorite ship
Eldrad : child protective services
Drake : the responsible one
He is your brother, the Eighth to your Eleventh
And so the blind darkness steps on stage

"So I'm taking him home with me," you ask as the boy growls at the Farseer

Mom 1 : ah dear you're back so how was your trip did you find anything ?
Drake : ( covered in scratch marks holds out konrad like one would a particularly scratchy cat) . . . I found a delinquent
Konrad : I hate you
Mom 1 ( squeals ) he's adorable!! ( snatches him out of Drake's hands and starts hugging him up well applying headpaths)
Konrad : what is this? I hate it . . Gibbs More

" you tell him as you look your younger sibling in the eye
Wait a second why is konrad so much younger than him aren't all the primarchs about the same age? is it a warp time distortion or something?

canon is definitely derailed now.
~Shot through the heart and you're to blame ~

Eldrad is playing coy.

Try it and find out.
Can we get an option to try it?
Also now I shall never unsee that mental image curse you

Konrad is now in grumpy cat mode.

Fixed. Thanks for catching that.

Drake arrived on Excalibur forty-five years before the Primarchs were scattered across the galaxy so he is the oldest of the Primarchs.
Can we get an option to try it?
Only if you train up the relevant skill.

More that I got bad info on when the Primarchs were scattered and then only found out the actual year when the quest was already underway.

Define flaw. Drake is perfectly happy where he is, but his flaw is his distain for socialisation

That's what we meant, human flaws, so far his only flaw is this and being as dense as Lion and how he hates socializing if he supposedly cares about his parents and his wives? Drake is like the perfect primarch for Big E, Dense? Check, hates socializing?Check, perfectly embodies the ideas of the government without question? Check, from what we see if he was raised in Terra or found by big E much sooner he would be another apathetic suck up to him like Lion and Dorn and the worst part? He kinda is just different allegiance, I mean when was the last time he showed any reaction beyond when one of his parents got lost in the warp or his wife got splited into two? When was the last time he ever disagreed with the Federation? When was the last time he lost his cool? He didn't even slighlty reacted when he found one of his brothers much less finding out there are more of his kind, by this point I won't be surprise if Big E purposefully made him as emotionally stunt as Lion or he is actually a biological robot made from the real Drake by the Federation, Drake is like Superman but without humanity.

No, he's a naval officer. He acts like he's absolutely unconcerned with anything going down, up to an including literal apocalypses, and then as soon as he can he rushes home and gets headpats and coco from the family because he's not allowed to be human on the job.

He was frustrated as hell with the federation until they started building up more shipyards and started taking Chronus seriously. He was not happy about the podborn but put them through because of that frustration and being unwilling to do the campaigning he'd need to do to do things the right way, especially after the shellacking he took immediately prior to that vote.

The difference being that Drake has a support network, vacation days, and people who can at least nominally do his job for him when he needs a mental health day. I.e. he's not expected to be on the job all day every day for decades at a stretch.

Imperium would consider that "below" his status and some primarchs may even disdain him for it conisdering their transhuman ego is the size of a planet

This whole idea that Primarchs had to act according to some sort of imperial standard is complete bullshit, the Primarchs acted as they each seperatly wanted to and as long as they participated in the crusade and didn't spread religion big E didn't care and no one else could really effect them, for example Jaghatai Khan was a complete mystery to everybody but his legion took worlds so it didn't matter.
The Primarchs were not some sort of band of brothers with similar set standards for each other, they were very different people and there were always fueds and grievences between them, the idea that we will be looked down on by the Primarchs as a group because our specific culture is just wierd, some will get on with us some won't, mostly due personalitiy differences.

We will likely get along with Vulcan and Sang (because we both value and like mortal people), Perterb and Magnus are a maybe (Pert because of his dislike of war and Mag for his like of... Psycery...), Guilliman is also a maybe as we both have a fondness for governance. I am not sure what to guess about the rest though.
