I think there's ways you can read it that make sense (though I suppose that's mostly just proof of the Winds all having large conceptual boundaries)

Death is the Wind of endings while Metal represents permanence, Life is about growth and regrowth while Fire is generally sheer destruction and the force that burns down the forest for regrowth to happen, etc.
I guess that's fair, but I still think that it would be better the other way around.

[X] Plan His Heart Will Go On

If we'ee from here we might know Blackout's favorite character, the Everkin- I mean Everqueen!
Joke's on you I have no issue with Alarielle.

We're a Loremaster, we're going to have 34 spells, regardless of what province we hail from, there's going to be plenty of magic.
True, but Loremasters have fairly weak spells and Saphery does help with getting stronger ones.

[X] Plan Magic and Money
-[X] Imhol
-[X] Sariel
-[X] Male
-[X] Eataine

Ok, since the previous Eataine plan got vetoed, I made my own. Picked a male Elf name from my copy of WFRP 2e and just made up the house name.

Is there an Elf character you do have issue with?
Easter is referencing a Ulthuan GSRP we were both involved with wherein my PC hated the previous Everqueen, Alarielle's mother. It's just an in-joke, I don't actually have an issue with any elf characters (Well, some of the depictions of Morathi are a bit squicky but I can look past them).

Personally I find the position of the Everqueen severely underexplored.

They're one of the two pillars of Elven society, but completely disappear between Yvraine's ascension and Alarielle's mother's death. To the best of my knowledge, Alarielle's mother wasn't even named until the End Times (where she is called Estrielle)

Yeah, a part of that is that Phoenix Kings traditionally seem to handle foreign politics and military matters, which tended to put the Everqueens out of the spotlight in Warhammer until Alarielle broke tradition by taking on a more proactive role leading armies and such. The Everqueen's role appears to be mainly about safeguarding against corruption and looking after the elven people, but because we so rarely see at purely internal High Elf matters they seem to just disappear from existence.

[X] Being an Elf is a ladder... wait
[X] Plan: Sage of magic
[X]: Plan Nice(Isha) Tree Elf
[X] Plan His Heart Will Go On

These 4 are ok in my corner

Dang nammit, opportunity missed! Foiled before the Everqueen nonsense could even begin

@Blackout
What comes first, the company or the magic? I feel as though the order might be important, influencing the choice of the other.
Troops come before spell selection.

Next vote will be on the reason behind your exile, then personal traits, then magical items, then troops (during which you can also give up troops for traits or items you missed), then spells and lastly your starting location in the Old World.

Clearly we should get quantity over quality, much like us they can grow in power over time! Going from militia elves to true elites.

Ignore how the time scale we're probably using is barely a blip in an elves life span, unless we're working on an elf's timespan over a human one.

Do you have a particular time period in mind, or would that be telling?

That's only if they survive to become elite, and armies that try to go for quantity over quality tend to have grievous casualties and need a steady supply of fresh meat for the grinder.
Something to remember is our quantity is better than most human quality. As in elf milita *might* lose against a great sword, maybe.

It would be fantastically funny if we just blew it all on heroes, and formed an adventuring party with maybe a couple dozen retainers.

i would assume a party sized group if we could buy heros, 4-5 since an elf hero is good. Maybe not army killing level by themselves but a party of elf heros would be very good at precision operations, or acting as champions in a bigger battle I suppose.
