My hype is immeasurable and my day is improved. Which spell is that?
Aethyric Arms, a generic spell that can be cast with any Wind.

If you use it with Aqshy, it gives you a sword made out of fire. If you use it with Shyish, it gives you a scythe made out of death energy. If you use it with Hysh, it gives you a lightsaber. Just take care not to have it dispelled mid-parry.

Yes, a Loremaster starts with an Ithilmar Greatsword if you don't pick up a different magical weapon during chargen, and can parry arrows.
Ooh, an excellent default starting weapon in the extremely likely case Loremaster wins

What sort of default armor would we start with as a Loremaster?

Every option starts with an Ithilmar weapon (except Skinshifters, they don't need weapons), a Prince or Princess has more than enough clout to have one. Loremaster starts with Ithilmar chainmail, Dragon Mage starts with enchanted plate Dragon Armour.

Oh nice, Ithilmar chainmail is pretty sweet. Personally I'd wanna upgrade it a bit however, moreso than the Greatsword.

Looks fairly heavily in the Lore master favor, which will be interesting in it's own right even if I favor specialization myself. Does mean that our magical growth will be very slow I imagine.

[X] Loremaster of Hoeth

I was pretty tempted by Dragon Mage, but since it's not winning, Loremaster looks to be just as good, if not better, in some ways.

And like Blackout said here, we could trade in our forces for better gear/a sweet mount
Vote for Dragonmage anyway, just approval vote it. 4 to 18 is just depressing.

Loremaster of Hoeth gets a bonus to Diplomacy = Friendship is Magic

Loremaster of Hoeth gets a bonus to Stewardship
= We have more money to buy more magical tutoring and reagents

Loremaster of Hoeth gets a bonus to Intrigue = We can sneak or steal our way into the magical traditions of other polities

A Loremaster's magic starts out weaker in raw power compared to the other options, but we have ways to generate more resources to boost our magic growth later on.

I will give you the friendship is magic indeed. But for the others, Elves are quite literally the richest people in the world so buying magic from them is likely going to be ridiculous. While human magic is something you either can't buy or is garbage compared to what we have most of the time. While stealing magic seems quite difficult since alot of them seem like the types to teach it person to person, with the ones who record it probably being smart enough to keep that kind of stuff locked so tight that you have to fight to it over sneaking it.

[X] Archmage of Saphery
[X] Starfire Mage of Avelorn
[X] Geomancer of Tiranoc

geomancy I have never seen before, that looks awesome.
Furthermore, i'd like us to be a mage that can do stuff no other people in the Old World can do, so we have real unique abilities.
High Magic, Geomancy and the cleansing fire of life are abilities i have not read before, and that as far as I know no one else really has.

There is no rule that says elves can't join the Colleges of Magic, but there is a rule that says anyone who joins the Colleges of Magic can only use one wind which kinda defeats the point of being a Loremaster.
Is there? I don't remember that from the Articles. You can't use Dhar, and for humans that's synonymous once they have a mark, but the Empire knows it's not the case for Elfs. Is it from another source, or is that something you decided for this quest?

Article 4:
The Colleges are free to study, document, practice, and experiment with the arcane forces of magic that are present in this world, provided they adhere to the restrictions laid down by Teclis of Ulthuan, keep the good of Sigmar's Holy Empire in their hearts and minds, and obey the Articles of this document.
And one of the main restrictions he laid down was that the Colleges shall not fuck around with more than one Wind each. Teclis did not account for (or if he did he had no desire to enable) the possibility of an elf joining the Colleges of Magic. The same loophole of "Nowhere does it specify only humans can join the Colleges of Magic" applies equally as "Nowhere does it specify the restrictions only apply to human members".

Teclis if he hears an elf joined the colleges:How did they kidnap an elf child and make them think the humans knew anything about magic?! Quick, I better go rescue this child before the humans spread their horrible ability at magic!

Cue one of the most powerful elven mages in the world either crying or cringing over a full grown elf mage joining an human organization.

That would still achieve my goal of getting the attention of Teclis-Sempai.

Anyway, that looks fairly decisive for Loremaster, but I'm going to give it until full 24 hours have passed so that all timezones have had an equal opportunity to vote.
