Would you Distort or manifest EGO?

Everything on the CharSheets is X's current understanding of the subject's abilities. While almost always accurate, it's not all-encompassing.
Is there anything else other than Sapling-derived EGO having more features that comes to mind?
I recall it was intentional that Sound Of A Star wasn't used in the DoSaM fight because there was no pairing, for whatever reason (the significance of this is currently unclear).

It's stated that (Abnormality) EGO is a piece of itself torn off and fashioned as appropriate. Is it possible for (Abnormality) EGO to intentionally be shaped in different forms after one is made with sufficient knowledge? (Looks pointedly at NT and DoSaM)

Anyway, compared to human EGO, not sure why, but doesn't Alkahest's displayed abilities seem a little underwhelming?
Like, Lobotomy and Interpretation were both Abnormality abilities, not stuff inherent to Alkahest. Aside from the degree of completeness after all, NT has a similar capability, and did not need an entire EGO specifically fashioned to have that?

Speaking of Lobotomy. Lepidoptera, can we get some more information on the "branches" that we can use in sealed form as compared to in DoSaM form?
I was thinking of combat applications beyond a different form of White Damage; and the physicality part seems pretty promising even if the range/number is most likely limited. I assume it moves at the speed of thought, or slightly faster than X can move?
In particular, with a "branch" we can now attempt to fight at Close Range while physically being at Medium range, that might be very useful depending.

E: @Lepidoptera, since its implied we can get into contact with Angela again during the timeskip, and we now know that 1: Adult is on the loose and 2: The Library collects data about Abnormalities, can we ask her for details on its capabilities etc?

We will have to wait for a bit...
SInce Lepid did say that they are slowly updating the character sheets.

For those more familiar with LoR lore, what is this exactly, and why does gathering it put us on the governmental watchlist if done poorly?
Also, anyone mind coming up with a negative consequence of showing this capability (and/or things that QB can derive from it) here?

Aside from QB maybe going to the Project Moon universe and triggering Shenanigans, anyway

E: Beyond Abnormalities being Abnormalities, is there a reason why their healing won't help with the Soul Gems? We do know at least the Adult (well, that is a terrible example, but) and NT can meaningfully interact with them after all.
Or is that likely to make us have to ask Homura have to activate TT2 again?

Basically, it's just using human/animal flesh to stitch together a functioning human body.
From the pov of law enforcement, it would be ... quite weird, for the local star-haired lady to buy 30+ kids' worth of meat, organs, etc.

As QB watching us...well, it would be revealing to him that X has quite the knowledge of the human body, he might also find out that X can communicate with inactive souls gems/disable grief build-up.

His reaction to it...could be mixed. Seeing as he is already weary of us. He could try to hide more information regarding other magical girls from us in this case.
However, this is under the assumption that the hyper-intelligent ferret doesn't already know about that anyway given that he likely observes our girls with heavy scrutiny.

Mainly because healing wounds is different from making bodies. The soul gems lack a body entirely.

Won't be voting for this, but start with Regeneration as a seed then back to Abno healing might work??

Seems like QB's info on Distortions might have been wiped away with Ms TT2 Homura at work. Communicate with inactive Soul Gems... first time we've displayed this, maybe not. Disabling Grief buildup... this one is most likely a gone case, yeah (We've used it too many separate times).

You know, instead of worrying about how much QB knows, why not just trade all of this info again, seem cooperative and all for something else? (Say, rendering this problem moot using QB assistance? Or more information on Isolation Fields)
Although revealing Lobotomy is ??? since next time we might not be able to reach out of the Isolation Fields if we need to for some reason

Yep. I would push for it if not for the fact that the current vote already includes it.

Nyarky's vote is three staged.
First, Angela for a temporary solution.
Second, Cloning for a long-term permanent solution.
Third, Regeneration for a high-speed immediate solution.

Unless the Abnormality based healing buff actually works, it's going to be slooooooooooow as mentioned in the options?

E: I do want to starting thinking about potential Wishes soon though. It's a resource, not one I want to use, but better to at least weigh our options in advance
Previously I suggested - "I Wish that all Abnormalities and derived influences will not be allowed to come to PMMM, and those already present banished (unless I allow them back)", or are there any other ideas?
v2: "I Wish that I can control each Abnormalities' presence in PMMM"?
(There are multiple clauses in this version, but except for the bracketed part it should be fine since Madoka's Wish was one idea with three parts)

It's actually only slow because we have to rely on ourselves.
With the Cloning vote, we would still need to obtain material first, which might take longer.

Viewing from the point of a resource, their monkey paw nature kinda makes it hard to think of how to use them. More specifically, the fact that X actually has a high Karmic potential as per QB's words, makes the options we could go for a lot of options.

Still, it's very limited in circumstances. I don't think we will need to think of a Wish unless we need to wish in the first place.

For example, if we were stuck in a battle with Whitenight and he beat the living Light out of us, in that case, a wish would be something along the line of "KYUBEY! GRANTS ME THE POWER TO DESTROY WHITENIGHT! AND MY SOUL SHALL BE YOURS!!" type of deal.

Not really ideal. Generally speaking. We lack too much information about Wishes. The only example of a "Magical Girl Abnormality" we currently have is Nothing There, who cheats by circumventing the wish entirely.

Would it be worth doing some research (read: asking QB and/or getting Lepi to write out that infodump already :V:V:V)?
I know this sounds like a waste of a action, but maybe we could use it to give advice for anyone whose considering Wishing in the future? We don't really want that with our kids, but sometimes the option (even if only a theoretical one) can help as a lens.

Well, other times, having said option harms. so.

I wonder what Angela/Roland/Sephirah would think of Wishing?

E:
Now that I think about it. Is anyone here familiar with Three Days Of Happiness (idr the content warnings so be careful)? Having Low Potential means that Wishing isn't really going to help you; having High Potential means your life matters as far as Potential is concerned so Wishing isn't good - so Wishing is never a good option (using that lens to view things)

Cloning is likely to requires human parts, I think that speaks for itself for the government reaction.

*Shrug* it is written as being faster than the most likely wait for cloning, so…

Here is a pic of someone I think would be less likely to screw us over than wishing:

I think that speaks for itself on what I think of even contemplating the possibility of it being a good idea.

Personally, the main problem with wishing is that not even QB knows what will happen if X wish.

It's Pluto...but he doesn't know what the hell the contract is like.

For all both of us and QB know, Wishing could just make us a Magical girl on steroids. Or it could be an ultra-deadly cascade where X suddenly turns the entire world into her "Hell" because of some weird Karmic Potential + Abnormality interaction.

Hell. If QB didn't forget about DoSaM, I'm certain that he would stop asking X for a wish just out of the sheer uncertainty of collateral.

Don't know for sure tbh.

We will need QB for his isolation field. But for now, I think we should shelve it until we can help Homura out with her Carmen shaped problems.

I think the fact that the metal centipede known as Dosam can interact with regular humans without making them (!!!!) Overwhelmed is plenty impressive already.

"I Wish that I can control each Abnormalities' presence in PMMM"?
Sounds super difficult. Controlling Abnormalities kind of implies control of the river of human subconscious they originate from. Probably out of X's league in terms of potential.

What this would likely do is give us really strong Qliphoth Field-based powers. Very useful, to be sure, but imo not worth the downsides of wishing.

I wonder what Angela/Roland/Sephirah would think of Wishing?
Angela: I'm a strong, independent toaster who don't need no crutches like wishes to achieve my dreams
Roland: Crossdressing! Ah, frilly dress, my beloved...
Sephirot: Literally double undead already, we're old hats at this

That makes sense, misworded things earlier: Would an "eject current Abnornality"/"close the Dimensional Door" button be useful instead? (Assuming we don't get to make ourselves an exception)

E: How about a gimped version of Madoka's Wish, or would that likely get monkey pawed due to Potential/wording issues/Abnormalities?

If it believes the isolation field can fully contain DoSaM (I don't think it knows Lobotomy can reach outside regardless), then it might still try. The energy from a hypothetical X witch would be very enticing for it. If just humanity would be wrecked in the process, well we already know its canon reaction to that in PMMM...

Wishing... It feels like putting a collar on our neck, Other than that, we give them enough bargaining chip already, wishing is just adding to the scale.

Do note that while QB is strong, he isn't as controlling as L-Corp is with its abnormalities. In comparison to X, QB is a non-factor to her in terms of Wish danger.
The only downside to wishing is that we don't know what will happen when an Abnormality makes a wish.

Because Abnormalities have immortal souls, would X's soul just get stuffed inside a perfect container? What about X's abilities? What about X's body? Etc.

There are essentially no definitive downsides to Wishing that X cannot overcome based on what we know about her right now.
The problem is the unknowns that come with wishing as an incomplete Abnormality.

Isn't Angela immortal in the Library, so she can turn the key?

1: We know Sayaka's form of Aid is better and faster than most MG's. It may or may not help with X's Special Injuries (minor ones of those kind can be recovered from, but not major ones w/o needing a new seal), and negate the pain cost of Regeneration?
2: We know that Lobotomy can be accelerated in X's Shell form using the cost of Health
3: Use accelerated Lobotomy to remove Grief, and get Sayaka to do the actual healing?

The price of this is X's pain, and Sayakas Exposure instantly maxing out. At the same time, this is something important for her to remember (and she can do it for her friends as well if things come to that), and Distortion enabled by high Exposure is NOT automatic, or the vote about what to do with Kyouko would be partially meaningless

what we know about her
If literally nothing else, X most likely can clean her own Grief, and is highly resistant to mental influences. (Admittedly, does Grief effects count as external?)

One thing I just realized.

The current State of Homura is actually a near-perfect opportunity to test out what Wishing will do to X.

The only way it could be better is if X herself unlock her TT2 Protocol function.

We need to turn Homura back to normal again. That wind-up key is such a horrible hazard for both Homura and her friends.

Like seriously. That thing is way too dangerous. Can Homura even live outside of combat scenarios without constantly "losing" charges and gets closer to death with every passing second?
