Those methods are really close to what Pentex does to prepare people for becoming a specific kind of Fomori.OOC: So you know how World of Darkness has Pentex... that gave me ideas for moving the Dresdenverse fomori into the modern age. Yes they are thee dregs and monsters of a thousand mythologies, but that does not mean they cannot adapt for greater evil in the twenty-first century.
Rounded up or down? In any case, that's quite a good haul - at least 4 points economy. You cannot learn apprentice alchemy from the stuff it is too advanced, but once you get to 3 dots, it would grand you a 50% discount on the XP you pay for the forth dot.
Reds seem to have been scared straight, from all indications. And I'm not sure if Fomori were even able to get the "we are being attacked" out in time. We were quite swift. My only concern about staying to strip everything of value is the time involved. Lingering here for longer than necessary is just asking for a Fomori strike team to portal in via the Nevernever. Or for the Reds to toss a bundle of explosives overboard as they leave and collapse the place with us in it.

Examples of 4 dot alchemic recipes:
•••• A chemical compound that raises the user's Physical Attributes for (Stamina +3) hours. During this time, the user will be very hungry, due to the excess strain being placed on her metabolism. This chemical may raise user Attributes to 6 dots or higher.
•••• A regimen of drugs and potions that extends the user's life (though not indefinitely). While on the regimen, the user ages at the rate of one month for every year. If the regimen is halted, these years come back upon the user at the rate of one month per day, until the regimen is started back up or the user dies of old age.•••• A salve that, when applied to the eyes, grants the user the ability to see through the Shroud for one night (see Wr20).
•••• An unstable metal that can be turned into a projectile that will burst into flames when fired or launched, inflicting an extra two dice worth of fire damage and igniting flammable materials.
•••• An incredibly unhealthy "study aid" that sharpens the user's focus unnaturally, granting them +1 Intelligence and +1 Wits, which can take them above their normal maximums for a scene, after which time they'll typically crash hard, needing a full 12 hours of sleep.
•••• A headache-inducing powder that, when inhaled, grants the user two dots of Anti-Psychic (Sorcerer Revised, pg. 91) for a scene, although they suffer extreme headaches the entire time, causing a -1 wound penalty equivalent. So, essentially "become temporarily superhuman" is on the table, as well as "make someone essentially ageless, on a subscription basis". Also some strangely low-key magical material (seriously, mundane banned types of ammunition can do this). I probably don't need to explain how "make people stop aging on a subscription basis" would be useful, right?•••• Accelamine: A pill that speeds up the taker's reflexes and thinking. It grants one extra action per turn for the remainder of the scene, but all attempts to focus on anything are at +2 difficulty.

EDIT:
We should probably ask some questions using the crown and the remains lying around. Any ideas on what to ask best?
I am torn between "who is the ultimate mastermind behind this" and "what path were they opening".
That's just a bonus. We couldn't justify slaughtering them as a betrayal, but if they betray us then we get to.My only concern about staying to strip everything of value is the time involved. Lingering here for longer than necessary is just asking for a Fomori strike team to portal in via the Nevernever. [X] Take the files and a sampling of the pills, destroy the rest
In case this was a project masterminded by some middle management, or even this guy we killed, I modified the question to ask "who benefits?".-[x]Crown question: Who is the ultimate mastermind behind all this?

We'd have to keep recasting it at the beginning of every story arc.So that "fuck this project, you are not getting anything done ever" charm is looking awfully attractive, right now.
Boiling Oil Mastery 4xpI have not calculated it yet, but I think it will come out to at least 20, probably more.

Don't forget 4 XP for a Technology Excellency. That's definitely on my wishlist. Don't expect to get it, given what else needs buying, but it's still something I want.COMMENTARY
-The transparent dude with a fetus inside him was the boss here? Didnt look like most Fomor sorcerers.
Seems very much like he's been experimenting on himself as well as his victims.
Maybe he used some of that gossamer on himself.
-So no slaves to rescue because this asshole apparently turned all of them into thralls.
And no gossamer because he used it all up.
<RHYS! GIVE ME BACK MY GOSSAMER>
Still some intelligence files, so not a total loss.
-Oh wow. Magically tainted diet supplements and weight loss pills.
Now thats the stuff of nightmares for any magically-aware parent of a teenage girl. And many teenage boys, actually.
They really did try to go full Pentex. And Pemtex is one of the things that made WoD as black as it is.
Poor Michael is never gonna take a dietary supplement again.
-Question worth asking is whether those thralls are still human/mortal.
Or if the human is dead and there's basically a homunculus in its place with memories of who the mortal used to be.
Worth seeing what the files say. Or we could burn a Crown question to ask.
-We should probably use either Niemi or Rhys as a focus for figuring out who runs the Fomor with a Crown question.
Just like we did with Gorfels. Some people need to go on our shit list and stay there.
Alternatively, Niemi AND Rhys. Different questions. Depending on if we have the motes to spare.
We'd have to keep recasting it at the beginning of every story arc.
Can wait a couple months I guess. Just keep an arcane link from here to use as a focus.
Far more important imo is a sensory charm.
Hellscry Chakra moved up the list of importance.
So did All Things Betray.
Boiling Oil Mastery 4xp
Mercy in Servitude 4xp
Transcendent Lord of Flies 4xp
Rendered Villain Dispersal 4xp
Ox Body Technique 3xp
Hellscry Chakra 8xp
All Things Betray 8xp
Wind-Born Stride 8xp
Empathy 4 3xp
Etiquette 4 3xp
Athletics 2 2xp
Technology 2 2xp
Lets see what we can afford.
I'd suggest getting Perception up as well, to catch Man's tells. We have social combat aginst Mab coming up. Maxing Etiquette and Empathy is a must.
System: Whenever the character is the subject of any supernatural power that seeks to transform, infect, taint, transport, or control her body or spirit, she may reflexively spend 1 Essence or 1 Willpower and roll Willpower against difficulty 7. Success undoes the hostile magic before it can finish affecting the Infernal, protecting her completely, and immunizes her against repeated attempts to exert the same sort of influence for the rest of the scene.
Alternately, the Infernal can spend 1 Essence to radically accelerate her healing for 24 hours. So long as she takes no strenuous activity, the Infernal heals all bashing damage or one level of lethal damage per 15 minutes of rest. An hour of rest mends one level of aggravated damage.
20 XP is a really big buy when we have a bit of native counter magic.I am inclined to get Ego-Inffused Pattern Primacy. This is not the first time we were hit with magic and we are "weak" to it.
So getting some anti-magic and anti-death curse charm will only help.
It is 20xp but we really need it, and it is useful considering we also heal agg damage at 1 hlvl per hour.

yog I really really want to genocide their species like canon and its literally not in their nature to change ghouls at the very least can feel stuff like pity and have human in them still and can be managed. Plus they are still very much at war with the white council for christ sakes. Best case scenario if we get some under us we are now looked at as potential enemies of the white council.[X] Let the Vampires go
-[X] You are not going to betray your allies no matter how distasteful
-[X] Usum is right, you still have all that contact information
-[X] Stunt: Covered in blood, and cluthing a sword of brass and hellfire, your back is straight and posture regal, as you speak, no, declare your decision and their fate: "Go now, and know, that on this night, I hold np grudge against you and yours and will remember your service here. When our paths cross again, as long as no innocent is suffering from your actions, I do not foresee myself pronouncing judgement upon you"
Let's leave them with an inpression that we can see potential futures.
Basically every interaction with them was worth XP. Intimidating them to the point that they decided not to betray us. Lead them into battle effectively and then letting them go to spread tales about us.do we get exp for intimidating red court enough they didn't pick a fight with us? Cause thats down right difficult.
I have my personal doubts about how much of this stuff is transportable in Michael's truckbed which will be parked in a public parking space, or where Molly would stash it safely away from the jawas of the Carpenter household. You cannot learn apprentice alchemy from the stuff it is too advanced, but once you get to 3 dots, it would grand you a 50% discount on the XP you pay for the forth dot.
Once we get transcendent lord of the flies I think that Molly might start spending a lot of time in undertown. With that charm taking care of her basic needs is easier in under town then it is in her parents house and we have big project down their in any case.I have my personal doubts about how much of this stuff is transportable in Michael's truckbed which will be parked in a public parking space, or where Molly would stash it safely away from the jawas of the Carpenter household.
Maybe Lydia has a storage space at home where we can stash this stuff.
But I assume the woman on the spot can determine how much can be moved in safety.
