Also lets not forget that it will take a lot more than these 2 choices to do it, so we can adapt/prepare for any issues
 
Plus this allows us to essentially help Vulkan in a way that allows him to keep the wager without Kelbor getting TOO much of what he wants without Kelbor really being able to argue, plus it giv...dudes, we will get to deal with the squats soooo much earlier now thanks to this TOO! THINK OF THE RUNE POTENTIAL!!!

We could even find out about their Ancestor Cores and diplo Pert getting access...

He could make TRUE STABLE AIS BASED OFF THEM!!!
 
Part of what keeps the Imperium from using a lot of DAoT stuff, like their hyper powerful warships with the singularity projectors, dark matter cannons, reality phasing, etc. Is that it takes calculations only really practical by AI.

Some stuff has machine spirits advanced enough to sort of make limited use of this stuff (look at Ark Mechanicus), but to deploy it en masse is beyond us. The Mechanicum / Emperor could release plans for Clarketech but only a handful of beings could really use it, and the Primarchs have little need for the convenience since their physical bodies allow them to outperform most technology anyway.

But if you could have a thousand true AI handling the production, the resource gathering, the logistics for transport, the operation of the technology itself, now you're not wasting limited man hours trying to uptech people. You can just hand off the plans to a bunch of hyper-intelligences. Maybe not smarter than a transcendent golden god with tens of thousands of years of knowledge and experience and technopathy.

But one can focus on creating the alloy blends needed. Two on the capacitors. Three on the exotic material processes. Four on the planet-scale factory management. Five on the system scale network of remotely operated mines and deliveries and storage. Then there's the shipboard AI, the ones supporting general staff offices with up to date intelligence and projections, the ones who predict crime. The knock on effects overlapping and easing society which makes focusing on innovation or advancing skill sets more practical because you need fewer workers and the work that gets done is more efficient.
 
It will probably be something that gets done in the Epilogues at *best* but aside from Dorn...Kesar is probably the best primarch to approach the Squats alongside Perturabo about these things in TLP

Do keep in mind that the negotiations with the Squats aren't going to be something that happes quickly. It's going to take decades to hit this point.
