If we're telling him about our history then I know a great thing to tell him about. It made a big impression on the entire sect and even got us a commendation and a cool ring from our Elder!

"Oh yeah there was that time that nothing happened and i got this sick ass storage ring and several sage level techs from my elder."
"For... 'nothing happening'."
"well actually, " Zhi smells burning cinnamon, "uh, Actually lots of nothing happened. Whole lots of nothing. Haha, crazy right?"
"... Right...."

There's a whole effortpost possible here, the reasons why Siani may have wanted to flex his ability to just very literally say no, but, honestly? The Tester's gotta give us something to go on beyond the fact that he doesn't like this. If Siani wanted us to have some sort of cover, he could have provided it.
Silver719, Shane_357, Angelazreal1 and Walter each have a variation of the "NO" vote that isn't tallying with the others for one reason or another. I'm not sure how Ves handles those but if you're one of those people you may want to consolidate with the main bloc to ensure you're counted.
Not sure why I have to be the one to say this when it's against my vote, but I don't like the ambiguity.
"I think not," I respond, instead. "Have a wonderful trip back to your Encampment. Take care on your return, lest some poor farmer suffer through your charm, confuse you for a drove of mules, and attempt to bridle you."

One thing to note with the No vote is that if KZ has to roll a social check for it, it'll likely be with the debuff from "An Uncomfortable Authenticity"

[X] I will trade on the reputation of the Caretakers. Knowing exactly why I have been sent out and why my dossier was so censored could put him at ease.

[x] I will apologize, for if the Elders have not seen fit to disclose my experiences I cannot gain say them. Especially as I can understand why such a decision was made.
[X] Muse about how little the information he has is worth if he thought putting Mo Hanying and Mei Daiyu on the same team was a good idea and ask him what else was said about your team members. You'll help him fill the gaps on obviously spotty intelligence given him. Then we can enlighten him onto our skills. The story of how we earned our sigil from the Ruins of the Moloth ought to suffice.
[X] I was assigned to this mission, so I can show my master that I'm capable of operating outside of the Sect walls. Failure is death or more likely something worse, so have no fear, I will do anything in my power to see the successfull completion of the mission.
[X] My speciality is in crafting charms, inherited from my family and cultivated in the heart, which my elders might have seen as balancing my peers and accounting for unexpected difficulties. Furthermore, I am known to both of them to varying degrees, while to my knowledge they have not interacted much before.
[X] Respectfully, No.
-[X] If my Elders of the Delving Heart have not seen fit to satisfy your requests for more information than I, as their student, must follow their lead.
Seriously, "NO" is winning? Look, I know it's a bit funny, but it's not a good vote. This guy has every reason to not be happy with the situation since he's having a total unknown thrown into his protection detail, and he does have at least limited authority to boss us around for the several months that we're going to be escorting him. He's a mere mortal who is going across dangerous territory and just wants to know his escorts are capable and trustworthy. So can we maybe not make things harder for ourselves by pissing him off?
I'm on team respectfully no. I think we should defer to the wisdom of our elders and therefore it is not our place to say. I think it might be worthwhile to note we are an accomplished charmcrafter with some expedition leader experience but no specifics beyond that if pressed.
We are happy to work with him on other matters though, maybe discuss the potential interpersonal issues with his other choices. My second choice is the current number option of elaborating on our leadership experience.

I'm confident Ves will phrase this reasonably. At least as I see it, "NO" just means that we'll defer to Siani's answer on this. It doesn't literally mean that we say NO and walk away.
If you still think that's going to piss him off... fair enough? It doesn't seem enormously rude to me.
