Half meme, half serious plan, which I've actually come to like more and more as I type out my arguments for it. We lose a bit over 1 tier of magic power, but pick up every House Fealty Boon in the previous tiers. We have the personal power reserves to eat the loss without touching the boost we get from Singularity, and said boost we get from Singularity means we're hardly defenseless after such a sacrifice. Furthermore, the best time to temporarily lose such an amount of magic power is now, when the amount we have is treated as relatively small and so is comparatively quickly regained.
And in return, we get; a boost to group combat, both in general and alongside a fellow Hufflepuff (which could be quite relevant, given us, Neville, and the other Heirs are going to have to do something important quite soon), a slight improvement to our people-skills and moderately increased ability to pass along knowledge right as we're about to identify and start working together with the other Heirs, an ability to learn more from our Head of House and a streamlining of our casting process, a slight boost every time we overcome a challenge which can compound over time, and an increase in our magical will and power for every bit of suffering we undergo. I'm willing to give up 1.15 magic tiers for all of that, given we should have an easy time earning them back with our effective tier treated as so low.
Although, wait; I've been assuming that the cost comes out of our personal magic power (at 1.99 now, iirc) and not the +3.5 that we're effectively treated as thanks to Singularity. So we'd be at (1.99-1.15)+3.5=4.34 magic power, but we'd be treated as having 1.99-1.15=0.84 magic power for the purposes of future advancement, thus meaning that we'd probably be able to make up what we lose in a relatively short timeframe. If that's the way it is, then I'm fine with spending a fairly large sum on Black Out the Sky here, but if it instead eats into the +3.5 effective tiers from Singularity, I would likely just go for Forfeiture. But based on some of the discussion in the thread I saw, it looks like the cost is based on our personal tier pre-Singularity boost, so I'm going to assume the cost will come out of there as well and leave Singularity untouched.
And just as a backup vote;
[X] Forfeiture

The only option I think we should take here is Black Out the Sky. We need to be a bit selfish so we can accumulate power, so I don't want to go for This is the End. And I really don't like the loss of mental stability from All Things Must Die. Let's just wait a bit until Harry's ready before we shove that kind of stuff on to him.
