A patronus tutor is well worth it. Do you guys want to learn it mid battle again like the Bellatrix situation at Halloween? We'd also probably be stuck with a subpar patronus guardian creature. This way we can take our time with it and get that Dementor patronus.

Edit: Please change it to magicka primeval, no objections.

Hey @Birdsie, how are you going to determine which thing(s) get enough votes to be selected for this vote?
Any options which cross a threshold of more-than-half of average votes per option win. Alternatively, if Forfeiture has the most votes, nothing wins (absolutely.) Alternatively, if a plan gets more popularity, it'll win.

Half meme, half serious plan, which I've actually come to like more and more as I type out my arguments for it. We lose a bit over 1 tier of magic power, but pick up every House Fealty Boon in the previous tiers. We have the personal power reserves to eat the loss without touching the boost we get from Singularity, and said boost we get from Singularity means we're hardly defenseless after such a sacrifice. Furthermore, the best time to temporarily lose such an amount of magic power is now, when the amount we have is treated as relatively small and so is comparatively quickly regained.

And in return, we get; a boost to group combat, both in general and alongside a fellow Hufflepuff (which could be quite relevant, given us, Neville, and the other Heirs are going to have to do something important quite soon), a slight improvement to our people-skills and moderately increased ability to pass along knowledge right as we're about to identify and start working together with the other Heirs, an ability to learn more from our Head of House and a streamlining of our casting process, a slight boost every time we overcome a challenge which can compound over time, and an increase in our magical will and power for every bit of suffering we undergo. I'm willing to give up 1.15 magic tiers for all of that, given we should have an easy time earning them back with our effective tier treated as so low.

Although, wait; I've been assuming that the cost comes out of our personal magic power (at 1.99 now, iirc) and not the +3.5 that we're effectively treated as thanks to Singularity. So we'd be at (1.99-1.15)+3.5=4.34 magic power, but we'd be treated as having 1.99-1.15=0.84 magic power for the purposes of future advancement, thus meaning that we'd probably be able to make up what we lose in a relatively short timeframe. If that's the way it is, then I'm fine with spending a fairly large sum on Black Out the Sky here, but if it instead eats into the +3.5 effective tiers from Singularity, I would likely just go for Forfeiture. But based on some of the discussion in the thread I saw, it looks like the cost is based on our personal tier pre-Singularity boost, so I'm going to assume the cost will come out of there as well and leave Singularity untouched.

And just as a backup vote;

[X] Forfeiture
[X] Black Out The Sky
-[X] Magicka Primeval

The only option I think we should take here is Black Out the Sky. We need to be a bit selfish so we can accumulate power, so I don't want to go for This is the End. And I really don't like the loss of mental stability from All Things Must Die. Let's just wait a bit until Harry's ready before we shove that kind of stuff on to him.

[X] This Is The End

I am not objective, but I really like that one. Maybe it is a bit uncertain, but I think I would have fun with the option.

Please I beg of you. Look not upon caustic offerings our QM gives us. This poisoned chalice, leeching our magical prowess. Reach not beyond your means, do not let greed blind you. These fealty perks are tainted, you will find no solace or boon from them. They will take from us pieces of what we struggled and toiled to achieve, until there is nothing left. I call upon all my brothers and sisters to stand against the tide, to stand as one, and forfeit.
[X] Forfeiture

(I'd be ok with nightmares winning though.)

In All Things Must Die who is they. It's not us or at least it's not just us

Has Birdsie said who they are or even if they include us

They could be refiring to harry enemy's. Think aout it harry remembers people or eings doing horrabile thing to him so wan'ts revange

[X] For The Future

[X] This Is The End

[X] Forfeiture

As the three options I am torn between, even as the first two may synergies.

Pitfalls of For The Future: Harry may get hit too hard by the dreams, and unable to handle Convocation.

Pitfalls of This Is The End: "Fairness Above All" may lead to a Harrison Bergeron scenario, where, say, others' autonomy is sacrificed in the name of Fairness.

Pitfalls of Forfeiture: not knowing what Harry's dreams contained, and thus being less able to save them.

Birdsie did not say who they were. It may be "those who forget the past".

Possibly, but the text with it would make more sense if it includes Harry.

"*---Mental Stability.
*All they'll know is pain. Over again. And over again."

The loss in mental stability being from being tortured in his dreams each night, which would also explain why it was a boon to not remember them.

Or rather for retroactively remembering past torture, as Harry no longer has nightmares thanks to For You, 6000 Years Ago.

Also greed is Surprisingly synergistic with Singularity/mastery of the Dark Arts
