Three bronze is the right call. Silver is expensive for OUR blood, no way these people could spend it.
[X] Three bronze talents per spear. In truth, it's more than a length of wood with a near-material strapped to it is worth, but it will be enough to let the farmers get through the season- and probably the next one too.

Yeah, we've got a storage mansion ring, really should chuck random easy to acquire shinies in it if only to unload at the next market we come across. If that doesn't work we trade it to someone later, process it ourselves one evening, or worst case chuck it someplace. Losing the time it took to deposit and retrieve it from the ring or jump over it when walking in the mansion doesn't feel super burdensome. Free money is free money until you become over-encumbered.

The Seated must Stand feels like the grassroots beginnings of a social revolution but that's probably far off when they won't be decimated by the Artists.

Not really in this vote's scope, but you can try it later if you want I guess. He'll say no, though; using them despite their shittiness is part of the challenge.

The bandwagon has spoken, but I think it is worth noting that this isn't our money, and we are down to our last Noble that can be courted / allied with. Spending conservatively will reflect positively in the after-trip audit that is sure to influence our continued access to this sweet sweet himbo.

Damn, if you think about it, the crazy nobleman intuitively came up with one of the most successful decisions in this situation.
The peasants are alive, moderately satisfied, will not starve to death in the near future, and they will not be left with a problematic weapon in their hands.
Of course, they remember how to do something new, but now they are somewhat not up to it, and the discontent has become less anyway, so the crisis has been temporarily extinguished.

From there, it was just a matter of waiting. The Cavern Bringer eventually discovered the tainted hive and tore it down, swallowing comb and bee alike in it's haste. The effects of the poisonous treat ensued soon after; the Cavern Bringer was rendered foolish and almost drunk from the meal. It had tunneled through field after field in a wild, zig-zagging course that ended with it colliding with an underground stone that even it couldn't dig through. When it had emerged, it had been woozy and bleeding from the head- which is when the farmers struck.
"The Seated must stand!" a voice calls from the back. The words bring a half-hearted cheer from the gathered throats, though some cast wary eyes at the three of you and remain silent.
Shim is, if anything, understating matters, Lady Fairy," Cao chimes in again. "When he says we called for aid long ago, we called for aid… it must have been nearly a year ago now. We needed help, and when none came, we had no choice but to stand alone."
In my hands, they should be capable of far more. I will take them and strike down a beast at least half again as strong as the Cavern Bringer with each one. This will be my penance for not arriving fast enough to slay the beast myself."

I feel we can still ask more for the value of three talents!
We need info on the surrounding area, politics, interesting/weird sights (for mats and future encounters) on the way to Mockingjay. They should know the land and so we can ask them critical info on the what's in it so we won't need to blunder head long without warning.
That kind of info is worth its weight in gold for us now!

-[X] Ask them the location of the Rock which caused the headwound of the Mole. As you are travellers, get them into talking about the news in Mockingjay- just briefly though. Drop that you're all on a mission from the sect and the shortest path towards the city would be most appreciated.
Vote edited to expedite our travel time! Hopefully this will gain us more time slots when we get to Mockingjay.
1) Man, Zhuan Kun interacting with the world without Yi Tai holding his hand is comedy goldmine
2) We wasted a spirit beast materials for nothing. Damn our responsibility.
Anyway,

I for one look forward to a meeting with Yi Tai after this. I considered taking him to the Glorious Respite straight after, Zhi will certainly need it! But Yi Tai will probably be as relaxed as can be due to not having to perform tasks for Zhuan Kun.
[x] Four bronze talents per spear, and the farmers explain what 'The Seated Must Stand' means and where it originated. This has the feeling of something much greater.
Agreed. Tis a fair price for information plus the spears and ZK gets what he wants.

I love ZK and MD dynamics with a bit of a neutral party trying to create peace.
I just want to grab popcorn and watch those two elevens go. We truly got the best team up.

How about saying the first man who volunteers more info gets four talents and the rest two talents?
C'mon guys, we need to recoup the mole! Plus what will we say to Yi Tai when he hears about ZK breaking out his piggy bank? With a relative little value to show for it?
