[X]The University of War: You are going to do the one thing you should have done a long time ago when Brian gave you the chance with his Officer's Paycheck. Finish your schooling. But now, you are going to study one science. The Science of War.

I want this, to upgrade our stats for the campaign, Louis is important but can wait for a little, Brian is unexpected but will not affect us that soon methink, and this is just the first of numerous interludes, it seems, so we will have the chance to speak with our officers, but before that I want to be in the condition to speak with them on equal terms, most of them have way better stats than ours in some places. Idk if there's a moratorium tho.

[X]A Family of Choice: You are going to ignore the Letters, ignore all those potential futures and take a breath. Gather the family that you seemed to have created… and try to learn what Louis wants.

The marriage is just an event, should not take more than a day (idk how marriages were at that time), is it really exclusive with the other options? What's the timeframe in these events we are talking about? The university should be more time-consuming than the other options. Is there a way to choose multiple options or are we limited to these ones and we will lose them? @Magoose

These are interludes that are story events, training montages, character growth, and other things.

Most of these will only take a month at most so we can get to quarter 3.

So here's a question for you all...

You all think Brian might become a Masrshel with us?

Also: What would Therese's Nicknames be for the future?

Where did we last see Kléber? The way his character sheet is written makes him sound like a huge Therese fanboy, but I don't remember him appearing in the story before... Does anyone else remember?

He served with us before the POD at Valy Hill where we took command when he was a colonel in the Army of the North. Since then, he's been following his path in history as a... Well, damn fine general.

Due to that, we decided that he knew of Brian and Therese, and well... was an acquaintance of theirs. Not a close friend or anything, but someone who respected her.

So we know of each other, but not well enough to be considered friends.

Ahh, so he's someone who Therese knows, but who hasn't appeared in the quest before?

That makes me feel better about my memory!

I don't recall what rank Brian is atm, but as Napoleon's Chief of Staff, he's intricately tied with Bonaparte's star. Even if he never had another original idea in his life, Brian would probably end up in any position he wants as a reward for assisting Napoleon into the position he's in. OTL, Napoleon "merely" drafted the plan that would end the battle of Saorgio in France's favor and take Piedmont out of the war. In other words, he still had superiors at the time. ITTL, he was the overall commander of that battle. There's also the matter of Napoleon's absolutely fabulous wealth.

"Fox of Mainz," off the top of my head. :p For the future? "Sword of the Nile," "Sultana of Bhatar (India)," "The Lightning Before the Thunder," "The Lady That Rides," "La Conductrice (The Conductor)," "The Gaul of Sicily," and "Master of Malta." And of course, for the shippers, "Her Imperial Majesty, Empress of France." This is fun, we should do this more often.

Incidentally, I've always wondered since that anime girl dream sequence near the start of the quest, what Napoleon would think about these shenanigans. I don't know if I would be amused or a little unsettled in his place. Lol.

Edit: Ah, yes, how could I forgot. "Iron Maiden," for taking that hit and trucking on.

No.

She has lost that.

Though for Louis... he's... very angry.

Like you need to talk to him angry.
Umm, so there's this, and he is our responsibility. As much as I'd like to go to the wedding we need to talk to him, leaving him to simmer is a bad ideia, and I'm assuming Charlotte tried to talk to him to no avail (Am I guessing right @Magoose?). He has literally no one else right now, so we should intervene as soon as possible...
