As well as the future charm/mat discourse lobby.

I can already hear the arguments about feeding mats and treasures to the Fractal. Very much not looking forward to it.

    I thought some more about my view on the motivations/perspective that I see contributing to each charm, and I think I want to drop my approval vote for Heart. Forge and Fractal both lean more into asserting agency and/or bodily autonomy (with a heap of transhumanist undertones), while Heart is, imo, more about treating symptoms than root causes.

    Hopefully we can start with Sun or whatever is closest to that to help us get our techniques done quicker.

    I don't think it will be all the doom and gloom that's being portrayed here, given that the overall sentiment seems to be one of carefully planned progress. My guess is more along the lines that every time we reach a threshold of insight or experience, we'll get a prompt for the next form and then quest for the mats to fit.
     
    Woof. Not my first choice, but I can't say I'm unhappy with the results.

    Since we have all the parts, do we want to start making it next week, or is our time committed?
     
    Some numbers while I'm in the mood.
    Construction of Fractal View will take about 3-4 actions. Infusing will also take about 4 actions.
    A Double Down will increase this to 6 and 6 actions. Which may not be unreasonable.
    Getting 5th Circle tutoring first costs 3 actions and decreases the number of construction actions by 1, or 2 for a DD.

    I'm reasonably happy to stop beating about the bush and devoting 1 action a week (minimum) back to Crafting.
     
    Deliberately tuned out so as not to get hyperinvested. Whilst I'm obviously glad fractal won, man this was super close and I think the fact that voting was so close and had such large turnout shows exactly how invested people were in this.

    Ves, getting this out the way right now was 110% absolutely the correct decision. The sheer level of vitriol and arguing that'd have exploded in a more limited setup would have been hell.

    Hmmm

    What do you say about say, 2 actions looking for wonders So Siani doesn't think we're dawdling, 1-2 actions on socials/techs/etc , and the remaining 2-3 actions spent crafting?
     
    On the other hand, Jai Fa's been waiting a while for that axe as it is, and Mughi/Chui Dao would be perfect for clearing that up right quick. If we think our current Steel/Force materials are sufficient, we could knock that out, get out from under that debt.
