The Path Unending (A Cultivation Quest)

[X] In Amber Clad
[X] A Family United
[X] A Fractal View
[X] Chrysalis of the Polestar

These are all so good, I can't imagine how much trouble Ves went to pruning down all the others.

Okay but seriously tho

Why are so few people going for Spymaster's Pride? It gives us the easiest solution. And the classiest design! A shapeshift wand! In the form of a pimpstick!

Because it's, as you say, a shapeshifter wand. That's it. It's by far the flattest design. The other designs have far more depth to them.

Fractal has the ability to give us all kinds of unique forms that aren't purely cosmetic.

The kind of extra benefits we could gain through the Heart have all kinds of interesting implications. The ability to integrate techniques beyond what's normally done? Very interesting things could come from that.

Like these ones for the long term benefits. Idealization is nice too, but I feel like it takes too long to start fixing KZ - we'd need to completely finish three techs before it even starts the form-altering! That's far too slow, even if the increased insight into Farmer's Step is valuable.

I particularly like Fractal View, because we can unlock new forms by feeding it materials - like, say, the materials harvested from a Blood Kukuni? That would be deliciously ironic.

[X] The Heart of Kong
[] The Forge of Idealization

These are the two I like the best. EDIT for tactical voting.

You know, I've had a change of heart about the Heart. I really like the aesthetics, and if people aren't going to insist on using the combat form as a matter of course, I think it could be cool.

A Fractal View - The most interesting charm by far, but has little to do with recovery. I suspect this will be one of the favourites as the "safest second choice".

The Heart of Kong, Spymaster's Pride - Transformations are silly.

A Family United, Chrysalis of the Polestar - The trees were my favourite after my own suggestion, but the designs chosen to represent them make it sound awkward.

In Amber Clad - Closest to what I wrote myself, no big hopes though.

The Forge of Idealization - At first, I was not a fan of "wasting" the material on something that we will outgrow. However, upon closer inspection . . . we can turn Xue into a proper murder machine. However, most importantly: It boosts Zhi's chance of picking up girls. He can offer tempering as a service, and once word gets around that the effect is legit, he can approach ladies with an offer to "come check out his sarcophagus" with plausible deniability.

Heart of Kong and In Amber Clad are both just cool. No explanations needed. The Forge of Idealization is maybe a longer term investment than the others, but something that could potentially speed up our progression to Farmer? That's huge!

The other ideas are neat, but I'm not interested in charms that don't alter our limbs significantly. That leaves Spymaster's Pride and the Chrysalis of the Polestar. The first isn't very interesting in design. The second is a bit too random-seeming for my tastes.
