Agreed. I however voted for it for its secondary function of improving and expanding the benefits of integrating techs.I'm still mulling this over, but I've gotta say, I don't find the whole combat transformation thing very interesting. Probably not going to vote for the Heart on that ground.

At the same timeLike, y'all, I'd urge you to consider that our combat style is at risk of going too many directions at once. We have standard techs, charms, a magic weapon, and now a form shift? It's a bit much.
At the same time
The alternatives are things that take multiple actions/requirements before they even start to work
We have alot of stuff to do already...
Likely scenario, we just use it as a no-other-options left emergency option in case Mughi is out of reach and the Box is drained. If it were just that, I'd vote for it too. However, we'll inevitably end up using the combat form shift, and I don't think that's a good thing.
As far as I can tell, Heart of Kong doesn't do anything for our alterations until we integrate a tech. Seems like Amber could fix us in an action or three after finishing it. A Family United starts working immediately, etc.At the same time

It literally does though? It's initial function is to allow Zhi to swap forms. As far as I can tell, Heart of Kong doesn't do anything for our alterations until we integrate a tech. Per the mechanics section, it's effects are to give Zhi a combat form, and then permanent alterations over time through integration. It literally does though? It's initial function is to allow Zhi to swap forms.
It reads more as shoving the mutations into a separate form, and giving us integration benefits as a side bonus.Per the mechanics section, it's effects are to give Zhi a combat form, and then permanent alterations over time through integration.

Honestly, the Forge sounds super slow. Returning us to normal over the course of the whole Farmer's Step? That'll take literal years. We might even end up integrating the limbs if it takes long enough.
That's from the original concept given by a quest reader.this is from description
this charm allows Kong Zhi to alter his appearance without capability impacts, and could solve the issue at hand immediately
A slow transition made of a bunch of tiny adjustments. As each channel is carved KZ will revert more and more to previous form
That was the description of the guy who proposed the idea. And the Blurb about how Ves/Ct would translate that mechanically wasthis is from description

Which, according to the post, isn't the final form of the charm by any degree. But it definitely seems like they plan on vetoing the instant fix featureMechanics: Used as a channeling focus for channel carving. As each channel is carved KZ will revert more and more to previous form and gain deeper benefits/insight into Farmer.
