The Path Unending (A Cultivation Quest)

Like, y'all, I'd urge you to consider that our combat style is at risk of going too many directions at once. We have standard techs, charms, a magic weapon, and now a form shift? It's a bit much.

I'm all about reversion to a(n) (enhanced) normal body for KZ and long-term benefits specifically about the Farmer's Step, which we've seen from an alternative character perspective who while admittedly a 'low talent Sela disciple' has taken over 10 years on the step.

Keep in mind that KZ is 3/15 and 4/15 aka not even 25% of the way through mastering the Claw & Foot. It feels disingenuous to claim 'Can't let the previously used AP go to waste' as a reason to go with doubling down on monsterform.

I'm also interested having a charm that that not exclusive to KZ, all the implant charms are meh. With something like the Forge, it could be sent back to the Family once KZ is done with it and as pointed out by another, potentially rented out/used to bargain favours/trade access for materials with KZ's friends & acquaintances when he's not using it.

TL DR Forge #1 Chrysalis #2 Fractal #3, everything else meh.

If it were just that, I'd vote for it too. However, we'll inevitably end up using the combat form shift, and I don't think that's a good thing.
Likely scenario, we just use it as a no-other-options left emergency option in case Mughi is out of reach and the Box is drained.

Honestly, the Forge sounds super slow. Returning us to normal over the course of the whole Farmer's Step? That'll take literal years. We might even end up integrating the limbs if it takes long enough.

I like The Forge of Idealization just because even when we don't have the time to use it we can rent it and get some passive going funding our other charms and we can take it home to the family and help get more people get to framer.

[X] The Heart of Kong
[X] A Fractal View
[X] The Forge of Idealization

The Heart of Kong is kind of what I was hoping for frankly.
Fractal sounds potentially interesting, cultivation-wise...
And a method to ease breakthroughs akin to the White Room? That's HUGE. I'm down for that sort of thing, although it took me a bit to roll around to it.

We've got some very cool charms here, but these three are the ones I like most.

this charm allows Kong Zhi to alter his appearance without capability impacts, and could solve the issue at hand immediately

That's from the original concept given by a quest reader.

This is from Ves' description, which is what the charm will be more likely to do:
As each channel is carved KZ will revert more and more to previous form
A slow transition made of a bunch of tiny adjustments.

That was the description of the guy who proposed the idea. And the Blurb about how Ves/Ct would translate that mechanically was

Mechanics: Used as a channeling focus for channel carving. As each channel is carved KZ will revert more and more to previous form and gain deeper benefits/insight into Farmer.
Which, according to the post, isn't the final form of the charm by any degree. But it definitely seems like they plan on vetoing the instant fix feature
