Just some notes, at Major Construction assistance, we're getting on average 8 Action-Years per turn, or 1.6 Action slots. At Minor Construction assistance, we're getting about 3 Action-Years per turn, or 0.6 Action slots.

[] Mining assistance - Tech level 6
Avernite Auxiliaries (5% of Troll pop)- Tech level 7
Minor Construction assistance (-10% time on up to 3 projects)- Tech level 8
Note this only counts for voting for tech level 6 since starting new lines makes the vote no longer count.

So the Trolls want FTL technology for even the most minor level of assistance? That's the minimum? How about No?

Folks, we don't have to make a trade that's a manifestly bad deal. I don't really want trolls tooling around with better than 21st century technology. They aren't all that firm allies. Trolls with technology that advanced and that little commitment to us could cause all sorts of trouble.
[X] Do not make any trade with the Trolls.

I also don't think it's worth it.
Maybe if they develop enough to have something worth trading for, or if we decide to conquer them.

If we conquer them somehow they would be able to build up even futher, supported by our greater tech level, and we wouldn't have to deal with the same degree of problems resulting from this, either with our Trust allies or with tech-producing trolls.

A plan vote is completely pointless. If you're voting for tech level 8 you'll automatically get the benefits of tech levels 6 and 8, you don't need to manually include them too.

Major Assisstance is worth something more than getting an entire action slot, albeit less flexible, by the by.

The second complete STC is for the …. a fast civilian reposlerlift transport around the size of a Crassus.

Still doing my readthrough, on page 713. Give it up for page 713! Found an STC with what appears to be a filler ellipsis where a name would be placed.

Actually, looks like Enjou brought it up when the turn was posted, and it's still there ~5000 pages and >4 years later.

looks like you forgot to put the name in (it's the "…." in the update), and I don't see it on the Mechanicus datasheet.

Turns out we had a couple more posters talk about it for a bit before it was dropped without being corrected. So yeah, just another little thing I found.

[X] Mining assistance - Tech level 6

Yeah, giving them time to grow in population seems like a good idea.

Also, going straight up to level 8 to get help on only three projects total? Yeah, I'd rather wait til they have the numbers to make elevating the tech level worth a more constant aid.

TL8

0.6 Action slots (Construct only, Avernus only)

TL 10

1.6 Action slots (Construct only, Avernus only)

If this is the price for action slots, it's materially pretty low.

Minor Construction assistance (-10% time on up to 3 projects at a time)- Tech level 8
Major Construction assistance (-20% time on up to 4 projects at a time)- Tech level 10

Something to notice here, so it's not just a 10% chance. over 10 years worth of construction actions, 8 would save us 3 years, 10 would save us 8.

[X] Tech Level 10

The hell with it. we're always building more hives, and action acceleration is going to add up.

[X] Tech Level 10

We need to scrape up every advantage we can get and 20% time off four construction projects at a time permanently is great. We've got embassies to make up the relations we'll lose.

Found another error, this time in the turn 40 prompt

Research (Phasing) – Now that he has a basic understanding of the theory behind Phasing Primaris Xavier would like to figure out how to teach others how to Phase. It will most likely take one or two years for him to figure this out as his method of Phasing requires drawing on Mittens instinctive skills.

Time: 1 year.
Chance of Success: Unknown, medium(uses control)

Cost: 720,000 thrones, 72,000 Material, 86 Advanced Material.
Reward: Chance of improving Psychic Shield power.

The reward for researching Phasing doesn't match up with the action.

Tech level 10 means 20% time off constructing psyker cities, which means we get more Telepathica actions.
I don't know about that, the reason it takes so long to build Psyker cities is because everything has to be warded and checked ad nauseam. Trolls won't be able to speed that up any, not unless we arrange for Sirens to help construction too.
