There's actually a lot of BS that can be researched in the Sonicverse, especially depending on what is and is not canon. The Chao and their rapid evolution and reincarnation, the Chaos Emeralds, all of Eggman's robotic BS like animals powering robots, time BS if Silver is a thing, pyrokinisis if Blaze is a thing, along with what are essentially negaverse Chaos Emeralds, dimension hopping if we have Sonic X's everything, along with space travel, genetic engineering considering Shadow was a thing, and that's not even getting into the Sonic Colors stuff or spinoff Nonsense like stretchy armed Werehogs, and more ridiculous stuff.
Trying to logic out Sonic's general nonsense could be interesting.

As an aside even with Shadow the Hedgehog making Shadow part alien the Earth had some potent genetic engineering considering that the Biolizard is entirely human made.

Yeah, there's so many crazy things there for us to pull shenanigans with. Though Kill La Kill would be cool, especially if we could create a Kamui daughteru or something with Life Fibers. Mean seriously, Life Fibers are crazy and in-canon scientific shenanigans were indeed done with them.
Honestly I'll switch to Kill La Kill if that gets enough traction. I'm frankly amused by the MC shouting something like "We need to strip [Ragyo] naked!" only to immediately have to convince people they aren't a pervert.

Mostly game Sonic.Quick question but which Sonic universe are we using, Game Sonic, Archie Sonic, Cartoon Sonic (there are a lot of cartoon series staring Sonic), or the new IDW Sonic (Then again it does take place after Forces)?
Oh yeah lots of silly things can happen with Kill la Kill.
Heck on of the options for the players has a Nudist Beach aligned upload themselves into a robot body pretty much only because they are too shy to go around naked.

Should we include IDW as well cause I do like the new characters from it, and it does make references to the games but I'm not sure what is still the same and what has changed as well.

I'm kind of surprised by how little support Halo is getting. Why do you want to stop at building AIs and Robots when you could learn the secrets of super dense materials, make weaponized ring-worlds or unravel the secrets of neural physics and ascend humanity to god-hood?

Well, Chaos Emeralds are clearly a source of potent energy, since it enables the Super forms- which technically anyone can do. Then there's Sonic himself, a relatively ordinary hedgehog who can nonetheless move at speeds that should destroy him.
Just studying Chaos Emeralds & Sonic would revolutionize society, with infinite clean energy and problem-free highspeed travel. Imagine, a world would you could travel between the US and Japan in mere minutes.
Thus, since everyone would have significantly more time and resources can be transported insanely fast, it'll eventually lead to a scientific revolution. Given this is a world that can already make Biolizards and mechanical gods with Earth science alone...
That's without factoring in Chaos, Shadow, and Chaos- all of whom present even opportunity to remake the world and society! Then there's other goodies, like the storybook worlds of Secret Rings and Black Knight.
Like, literal other worlds accessible by books. In fact, this is a world filled with supernatural stuff, and then there's Air Ride with their legit hover tech and gravity manipulation.
Seriously, focus on the time & resource saving options would increase technological and scientific progress nicely. Mean, Eggman built an intergalatic theme park that didn't take decades to reach somehow! Just imagine what he could of done with infinite energy and more speed!
Heck, there's a time manipulating monster thing out there, just waiting for us to partially cyborgize so we can mess with time however we want! We could set up controlled environments in the past, to conduct experiments that would take millions of years to bare results!
