It doesn't matter what favor you are using it is not changing that fact the Eldar only have so many forces that can reach us in time.

No matter how nicely you ask they cannot teleport a Pheonix Avatar to Avernus as much as they might want to.

Unless something has been clarified on Discord, then a Pheonix Avatar is a possibility.

It has been clarified to

3. a seer council leading a single aspect host(10k) and fifty wraith hosts (1 mil)

We rolled poorly on what the Eldar have near.
You are negleting to mention that even that still gives major bonuses against the general daemons and a moderate bonus vs the exalted.

Much more than what we currently have.

Durin has never specified the exact bonus. When asked on the specific situation of:

1. How useful would that Eldar force be in a specific "1st Circle and his retinue spearhead their way through your defenses to get Lin" scenario? Elite anti-daemon forces are all well and good, but I'm not sure how much could they do to an Exalted, especially as they can't all fire at him.
1. decent, given that these are not Bloodthirsters Seer Councils are actualy a threat to them

Besides which, just reduce the priority of troops if you need more forces. Losing a few billion more people is nothing compared to the value of an Eldar Major Favor.

They are useful against our main threat. They are valuable against the exalted.

We need em.

Our major favour is worth incalcuably less than Guiliman's life.

Then how about using regular bombardment rather than the gravity manipulator that is meant to mess with fleets spread over a large chunk of a solar system?
We are doing that as well.

Sure, if that Major Favor brought in forces which actually mattered. Like Eldar Heroes. Eldar Exarches. Eldar Superheavies.

Instead we are getting Eldar forces totally unsuited to fighting an Exalted. A force which doesn't even add up to a minor favor.

[X] Plan Incursion A
-[X] WITH: Spend a favor Major
The forces available are still strong enough to do sever damage to the demons.
[X] Plan Incursion A
-[X] WITH: Spend a favor (major if necessary, minor if Durin allows it) for Aeldari assistance.

-[X] WITH: Spend a favor (major if necessary, minor if Durin allows it) for Aeldari assistance.

There, that should do it.
Just FYI, your votes are messing up the tally, and making it seem as if everyone voting for Plan Incursion A supports using an Eldar favour, which they don't. You should switch to Plan Incursion B instead if you want to have an Eldar favour.

Old Friends
Old Friends

Gravity's Bite, sung in his hands as he cut across the throat of the Angyl in front of him with a blazing blade, severing its head while he danced back from the return strike from its fellow with the iridescent eyes, panting.

It seemed even he was starting to reach his limit after nonstop fighting day after day, but he couldn't allow himself to rest, not when the Archangyl was currently knocking its way through the penultimate wall of Dis.

As he finished off his assailant, he turned to see yet another damned Archangyl landing behind him, its whip raised to strike him down as the ground beneath him began to quiver.

Trusting his long-honed instincts as to which was the greater threat, he threw himself sideways as the Angyl suddenly vanished inside a black and purple maw, filled with gravity distorting teeth while Jacob rolled to his feet eyes wide as he saw a very very old friend.

The Cavern Dragon glared at him with baleful eyes, staring in an unimpressed manner at his sword, the blade forged from the tooth he had ripped from its skull in desperation. One of the first creatures that he had met in the caverns whose presence marked him until he had at last escaped from there.

For a second he was afraid that it would leap at him, take its vengeance upon him in the middle of this colossal battle but instead it seemed to huff in amusement as it raised its head and breathed a stream of gravity shaking unreality into the air, dropping angyls like flies as it began to rampage, as all round him similar quaking began to happen all around, entrances to the caverns bursting forth from the ground to reveal their deadly cargo.

From the earth they came, horrific in their multitude, cataclysmic in their power. Invincible Nilbolgs launched themselves at the First Circle, only being healed by its surprised strikes as the weight of their bodies bore it to the ground. Plasma kraken bursted into the air, the radient heat from their bodies light the angyls feathers aflame sending them spiralling downwards, while their tentacles grabbed them from the air shoving them into their solar fusion maw.

More and more monsters from the caverns started to emerge, creatures that he knew could fight any daemon and win. That were designed to make the worst daemons seem weak and feeble by comparison, that had trained and guided him, a whet stone to his blade as he learned how to fight back against the tide.

Beneath his own feet emerged a tiny crack as a burst of pure true radiant light emerged, the sensation forcing him to gasp, for once again he felt the touch of the Radiance's mind upon his. He couldn't understand its voice, but he knew what it was trying to communicate. That Avernus would protect its own.

He grinned, as he charged alongside his old friends from the Caverns, glad to be alongside such loyal, deadly allies.

We all lift together, including, but especially, monsters from the darkest abyss.

Glorius Aquilla
Glorius Aquilla

Of the innumerable beings that rose in the defence of Avernus, few were more effective deterrents and distractions than the Glorius Aquilla, the eagle like creatures that lived as perfect embodiments of the Aquilla of the Imperium, and now the symbol of the Abomination Tjapa. From their double headed nature to their golden feathers, it would be impossible to find a better living Aquilla.

Yet despite this, their nature as a creature blessed by the touch of the Old One's bioscience had ensured that they remained pure, in fact they carried a greater hatred for the Gilded legions than even some Guardians. They were also so small a creature that the Abomination did not know of their existence from the Daemons it had questioned before embarking upon this venture. Or perhaps knowing the effect that it would have upon its daemons they neglected to mention it.

Whatever the case was, their highly symbolic nature made them highly useful assets when the legions came. First there was their inherent nature as well the living symbols of the abomination. The angyls, feeble minded and ever trying not to offend their lord, in the opening stages of the battle, would spot examples of the Aquilla and drop to their knees in reverence and prayer. Dropping to one's knees on Avernus is highly discouraged, and many angyls were incinerated, perforated and otherwise punished for this foolishness.

Once the Angyls realised that the Glorius Aquillae, were in fact false idols, and managed to inform their superiors who informed their superiors and so on until they could reach an Angyl high enough to give them orders on how to properly respond, they were filled with a hateful rage, which ironically for them played right into the defender's hands and provided an even greater advantage. For the zealous anger made the Angyls foolish and caused them to abandon previous strong positions in droves just for the chance to try and kill a single bird. Their attempts were not aided by the fact that for the Angyls actually doing so was quite difficult. Not only were they still technically damaging a symbol of their master, which still made many a daemon flinch at the mere thought, but it seemed that the power of the Aquilla was almost tailor made to counter them. For while the slaves of the abomination are experts at mental domination, they are far less skilled at resisting those same techniques being used upon them. When combined with the already strong fear and awe the Angyls held them in, the Aquillae were able to stun or even turn angyls upon each other, giving the defenders time to readjust, or even launch ambushes against them.

While of course far more of the Glorius Aquilla perished, sacrificing themselves for the World and there were far too many angyls for them to distract, the impact of their abilities represented a considerable boon to the forces arrayed against the legions of the abomination. The particular bravery of the Governor's pet Aquilla must also be noted, even successfully flying into the face of the First Circle Archangyl to peck at its eyes.

Hello we have nasty bird versions of your holy icon.

They fucking hate you.

Ok, it seems that even if we use the Major Favor we will get actually less than what a minor favor would grant us under normal circumstances

So instead of risking losing a Major favor for that, I propose plan C, which is exactly the same as the others, but I made explictit that we are only spending the Minor Favor.

[X] Plan Incursion C
-[X] Dis- The capital of Avernus is a massive hive with a billions strong militia and the most powerful defences on Avernus, and has your Ultra-Secure Vault buried under it as a final fallback.
-[X] Evacuate your trainee psykers to orbit - Make psyker cities less valuable targets and less vulnerable, lose decent number of trainee psykers and cargo wings in transit.
-[X] Redeploy your forces in Tarascon - Increase the number of available forces significantly, lose some forces and cargo wings in trasit.
-[X] Have Ridcully divine the plans of the attackers- All you know of the assault is that its primary goal is to kill Sain Lin, finding out how they plan to do this could be useful.
-[X] Lin and Rotbart will make motivational and preparatory speeches to the populace before the Incursion hits.
-[X] Tamia & Other Telepaths will warn all Avernite peoples they can reach of the incoming Incursion, and also ask the Eldest One to come to Dis - The Exalted is targeting Saint Lin in this incursion.

-[X] Archmagos Biologis Maximal (5)- The senior-most member of the Adeptus Mehcanicus on planet, a mighty warrior and a valuable researcher.- Grandmaster Combatant.
-[X] Helguard (1)- The Avernite Helguard are your elites, able to engage with all but the mightiest foes with a chance of victory- 44 Elite Power Amrorued Grenadier Divisions
-[X] Knights(3)- While few in number your Knights are some of the few forces that can match greater deamons in city-fighting conditions- 10 Maniples of Knights, additional 40 Maniples if you pull forces from Terascon
-[X] Dis (6)- Dis is your capital, the centre of most of your departments and the home of almost a third of the people who call Avernus home, also your most heavily fortified location by a wide margin-
-[X] Cassarondo (5)- Cassarondo is your northernmost hive and likely the site of the largest attack, if it holds it should greatly reduce the size of the more southerly attack, but the forces required to make it hold will need to come from somewhere
-[X] Write-In: Southern Cities and Hives (2) - Pull forces from the southern cities and hives to reinforce the northern hives.
-[X] Write-In: Spend a minor favor for Aeldari assistance
