At work so this will be a bit slapdash until I can edit up.

[X] Welcome to Anor Londo, you Red Phantom f*k:
-have the Transistor and Process flash design launchable Processmatter great arrows which can, upon impact, convert themselves and local matter into Cell towers alike our fortifications.
-launch Cell-lances at best guess points around sniper to limit and corral his options. Best option: we shut him down. Worst: we curtail where and how he can counter snipe.
-after action, Cell-lances repair terrain as best possible before self extraction.
-during counter sniper Cell-lance barrage, Jaune and Transistor begin approach to deal with sniper.

[X] Pin and flank: Use the Transistors prediction capability to guide your fixed weapons in suppressing the sniper. while this happens your mobile assets will move to flank him and go for the capture while he's busy trying to sniper duel a AI operated fortress.

This sounds like the best idea, as funny as Welcome to Anor Londo would be.

[x] Close The Distance- Alternatively, don't fight the sniper on his preferred range. Take your sword and run/hoverboard your way there until you're close enough to Spin() him ten feet through the tarmac.

I'm not the best with names, but is one of them the fawn girls older brother? I remember him joining but not his name.

i really wonder what our family is thinking seeing this on the news or in the case of our sister hearing about this from the other cops. or if they don't know we're here what they will say after everything is all said and done since we'll have just fought our way out of a terrorist attack
It's been about ten minutes since the attack started- after some rather shallow research, because this isn't exactly an easy number to find out, I'm putting live coverage of an event like this by local news at about a 20 minute delay to actually get live coverage, with the actual event having broken already.

Now social media on the other hand, those fuckers were talking about this five seconds before you decked Weiss to begin with.

Either way, you're not on the news just yet, nor is the Process.

... Now social media on the other hand-

So what happens if he's hiding behind a building or somewhere the Transistor can't see him? Also pondering if this is gonna change Weiss's view on Faunus early if she keeps the WF member alive - odds are the girl shall be really grateful and apologetic to her.
Well if that happens, you've broken line of site and you have a chance to escape.

It's not going to change her view on Faunus that much, but it's definitely going to make her realise exactly where she's drawn her line, though less starkly if you're still right there beside her.

Even if she didn't realise that's where she drew the line.

... No, but now I'm angry I didn't think of it.

Anyway, vote tally's sitting at 10 to Pin and Flank, 5 to Close The Distance, 3 to the weeaboo option, 2 for Valish Sniper, and 1 for the Dark Souls reference. Vote closes tomorrow at 8pm, post will be up in about two week's time, you know the drill by now.

@Prok do we need to add write-in clauses to do common sense Weiss-related things like "tell Weiss what happened", and "restrain the injured assassin that's near Weiss" ? Or can we assume that will happen?

"I… God. And those men out there… almost hurt the man who created it." Weiss says somewhat hesitantly, almost like she's afraid to point it out.

"They won't die." You try to placate her. "The Process doesn't do lethal force against humans

She looks down at the polished white surface underneath her feet, giving a gentle huff of air as she leans against the wall, ready to wait out the attack.

"... That's not as comforting as you think it is."
it amuses me that there are multiple things Weiss could mean

-Jaune's interpretation: "they angered this technological horror", and "I have no mouth but i must scream is nonlethal"

-alt interpretation 1: "what would this baby god have become bereft of the guidance of its parent?" and "you missed my point"

-alt interpretation 2: "those terrorist scum nearly killed the brilliant man that made this technological wonder", and "your naive mercy towards them only further demonstrates what a loss that would have been"

As funny as Danmaku sounds, it seems like it has a really high risk for collateral damage.

I'm voting for this in large part because it seems like it will make it easier to contain/obfuscate information about the process afterwards, as opposed to pin and flank.

On a side note, does the white processed matter make for half decent armor? Those bullets seem potentially aura piercing, and we don't know the sniper's semblance.

In addition, can Jaune set one of his AI buddies to start assessing information damage control? Don't see the need to wait until the snipers locked up.

I have to say, that moment where Jaune and Weiss are messing with the Processed Matter is pretty fluff. But I also think it's going to lead into some introspection, what are the limits of processed matter? So many avenues to explore for it all.

So do we need to get the Process a Schnee-tter account or something? Have it do an AMA on whatever the in-universe equivalent of Reddit is?
