I changed out boar general vehicle for psi throne, dropped sound out for psyker titans for trade because we need a lot more thrones if we want to do the huge forge hives anytime soon.

Also I think we need to double down on Ridicully divination and divine the fortress of the soulless. That is why I got Saint Lin cleansing a world. Because well @Andres110 explain it best . While the Custodies may not have been created for it they have spent thousands of years around the golden throne and may have changed from the time of the Heresy to someone that can help Saint Lin.

On the Custodes helping Lin I will point out the order got a lot more scholarly since the Emperor was interred. This was explicitly noted in Watchers of the Throne many, many times.

1. Sound out and convince the high council they it is urgent
Surprised it hasn't occured to people that the Eldar needing soldiers from the Trust isn't actually as urgent anymore due to them being far more likely to gain armies from the major human polities who owe them and who also have literally entire sectors, numbering around 100 at the least, to pick armies from while the Trust only has around 40 worlds with many still developing.

Secundus is in the middle of a Destroyer invasion, so we expect it's going to be reasonably urgent still. Have to contain the thing, and it's not like Secundus has troops to spare when they've invoked the accord to have a truce with the Tau.

Lin's issue is deep deep warp lore bullshit tied to the Divine, it's not something the Custodes could ever possibly study since the only human we know has really gone into this field is ironically Lin.

Maybe? The Libraries the Custodes had access to we're quite massive. Besides that I have no opinions on them being able help Lin. Just that from M30-Now the Ten Thousand became quite a studied bunch.

The Imperium had no information on most deep warp lore other than maybe the shit the Emperor and Malcador knew personally knew (and as the horus heresy showed that knowledge whah massive holes in it) and would never write down since they didn't trust anyone with it. It doesn't matter how much the Custodes studied they had no information and no ways to get information

Lin is bullshit and he will pay for that bullshit with his life span that's the deal.

On another note it looks like we gained 1-3 "anti titan" Knight patterns with the tech conference. Getting our House to employ the Patterns Atrapos, Dominus and the Glorious Glorious Porphyrion (seriously look it up, the model looks amazing) in large numbers could really do good things for our anti titan.

So apparently the Custodies were not just staying around making sure that the golden throne did not fall. They researched ways to cure the Emperor and well they may have something that could help. Yes it will be a long shot but it may help. And if they can't we still make contact with them.

I see the Fortress less of a way to help Lin live longer but more of a way to access very rare knowledge and technology while at the same time up teching one of the scariest human remnants (Vindicares with super exitus, evesors with Solis Oblitatum and grav shear etc).

Our Last Hunters will get a major boost from the institutional knowledge and potentially better augments. We could even score and get some more info on the Thunder Warriors from the Custodes.

ok, so the Boar General Combat Vehicle is being chosen more or less as an arbitrary implantation, could I get anyone to agree to change it to the psy throne? we literally picked the marriage option that lets us roll that out fast. not rolling it out fast after that strikes me as foolish.

Do we need too?

Just checking etc.

I did change it. Even made a post about changing it.

Another thing to note is that we will be providing hellgaurd which is from my knowledge one of the most dangerous 'normal' human formations out there.
Either way every little bit helps and the fact we are willing to put our people on the line for them will be good for relations.

I'll second this, as much as I like the Boar random npc makes some sense.

@Enjou

As a voter for your plan I'm hoping you can do the above swapping of the Boar and Psi Throne.

Also if you could move things around like Nurgle did in Piety to manage a DD on the Fortress this turn I'd be very greatful. I truly believe it will be worth having a turn early.

While they can probably get bodies from other polities even the big 3 won't equal our tech for awhile so bar trueborn we provide the best "disposable" concentration of force the Eldar have access too. Hell the Varangian guard are probably always going to be in demand due to how flexible there pyskers are.

Looking at the Custodes armory now and all I can say is I hope Nurgle is right. The stuff they have is so high end it's ridiculous. I can't even begin to think of how much of a boost the Trust's super elites would get from a trade.

Will do.

Likely none at all, or at most things like tangle foot grenades.

It probably falls into the same category of stuff Vulkan didn't give, too advanced for anyone else to make save for the tech clans Emps gave to maintaining their arsenal who devote their entire existence to making them like the Laastrum clan whose entire purpose was to custom make the bolters and bolts (heliothermic ones) for the custodes and people crazy skilled.

They might be able to teach Granalf, but I doubt more than that.

Yeah there stuff was literally the most advance stuff the Emperor could find on earth. The Emperor also had weapons that only the Custodies used and no one else.
