@Enjou why don't you want to divine the fortress of the soulless? Making contact with the assassins guild would be a huge boon.

I do, I just don't have a double down spot for it and don't want to try to force one. Also, since we don't currently have an available minor favor available we couldn't send Lin there yet anyways, so it can wait until next turn when a Double Down is available.

Just do what I did and have Saint Lin cleanse another world freeing up year 2 and 3 for double down.

Ok, here's my plan. Subject to changes from discussion, as usual.
1. Move free double downs onto Greater Psyker Hunting.
2. I think we ought to do Anti-Psyker Training: Militia as opposed to PDF: Pulse Rifles. The bonus vs Psykers will be quite apparant.
3. I don't know what the Sanguinor are or is? Why not go for more Eldar minor favors?
Do people want me to drop two of the diplomatic options I have and set up a trade for metal for thrones?

I'm concerned that we might blow open whatever the Assassins are planning, to their detriment.

Ok I am trading now 30 billion metal a year for 134,804,000 thrones . I also bought cargo space from Muselphiem hopefully. I had to drop the psyker Titan sound out.

@Shard that assassins guild is trying to bring order to the galaxy. The alliance we are part of could help them and receive help from them. Also I think their allies are the Custodies and the Lion.

So… if the assassins are out and about in the galaxy… why do we need to spend a Divination* on finding their nigh-unfindable base? Just have Vlad go meet an assassin and give them a message saying we want to work with them. Or let the Eldar handle it.

*As a reminder there is a very long list of stuff we want Ridcully to look into. His time and effort are galactic scale assets.

[X] Plan Nurgle 125

This is the better plan in my opinion but @Nurgle could you change the spend time with action to spending time with Syr and Sigmund we have been able to spend time with multiple people before besides they are going to be in the same place for a while.

The fortress of the soullless will house the grandmasters who can make decision like trade, alliances and help us meet there allies who I think are the Custodies. Who I think may help Saint Lin.

I would like to remind peopel that our anti-psyker units and our grandmasters got targeted HARD this last turn...chances are fairly high that its a actual thing and might need investigation.
either way, making our base-units have some basic anti-psyker training (I'm guessing its mostly "don't feed the trolls --Cough-- I mean don't feed the chaos by doing this long list of things) is probably really fricking useful. will probably lower the stress that our proper anti-psyker units have by making us less dependetn on them (making them less needed for smaller-scale threats like weak psykers means they can focus more on bigger threats....I highly doubt it will do much against the espeally strong psykers.

@Enjou
Diplomacy
SLOT A - Year 1
-Y1: Persons of Interest- Inquisitor Klovis-Ultan
-Y2: Sound Out (Getting support to help train and create a order of Psyker Knights from the rest of the trust)
-Y3: Ask Vlad (Are there any noteworthy lifeforms in the regions we've explored that we've missed which he's aware of that could be beneficial to study)
-Y4: Sound Out (Loaning troops to the Eldar again for favors)
-Y5: Sound Out (Loaning troops to the Eldar again for favors)

I'm still very flexible here. Suggestions very welcome.
I don't think we need more than one sound out for help on training the Psyker Knights. Only a few planets would even have any advice. Mainly Asgard, but some of the more martially inclined planets may have a few ideas.
Asking Vlad about less obvious wildlife could be beneficial.
I'm down for asking about sending the Eldar troops again.
While I kept up with the plan discussion at first, I failed to do so after some time, so forgive me if this has been brought up before. Anyway, I very highly recommend asking the nynye to help with Inquisitor Klovis-Ultan's ageing. Durin said they'll be able to extend his life for a few decades. It's important that we get this done early to reduce the loss of stats associated with ageing as little as possible.

-Y5: Personal Attention: Implement (Boar General Combat Vehicle): Planning
I agree with random_npc above. Both the Psi-Throne Mechanicum and the Harvester are higher priority, and I am likewise of the belief that the Psi-Throne is the most important of the two.

We had Ridcully look at it already quite recently, and the heavy attrition was determined to be a combination of bad luck and many of the psykers identifying them as their greatest danger. Also, most all of the attrition this turn was due to a single attack by an Alpha.

I doubt the Custodes can help Lin. They are like not specced in his problem at all.
I too doubt that the Custodes can help Lin, but I'd like to put forward the idea that there is a possibility they can, if a faint one.

Take that one surviving Thunder Warrior. Despite being a brute who knew only war, he was capable of attaining an immense degree of biological knowledge, to the point that eventually he managed to solve the Thunder Warriors' ageing. From that, we can extrapolate that the Adeptus Custodes are capable of learning things other than what they were made for, and to a very high degree.

Now, the thing about the Golden Throne is that it requires a lot of maintenance. The Adeptus Mechanicus conducts this maintenance, but it's not inconceivable that the Adeptus Custodes may have learned how to do so themselves in their ten thousand years. Given the intensely psychic nature of the device, plus the fact that it's meant to sustain the life of a being that cannot sustain itself, there may be a very small chance that the Custodes have some knowledge that we could apply to extending Lin's life.
