[X] Marry Baron Sigmund 'The Defiant' of the Aesir- best combat, decent Martial, allows formation of Knight House on Avernus.

Fair enough just wanted to see why you wanted it. As for the AM yes it is a bit of a issue but we do not have any exclusive deal with them that says only we get the AM. Vanaheim needs some AM as well for systems on their ships.
Not nearly as much.

Their main need is metal.

@Durin
1. Does Vanaheim frequently build new battleships or is it focusing on other areas?
2. Now that they're better defended are the colonies starting to build up more advanced facilities like Shipyards?
3. How fixed is the damage Turoq inflicted?

Fred wasn't an Avernite by birth unlike Syr...
That doesn't mean anything they all take the same drugs to boost fertility and birth numbers. Not being born on the planet doesn't change that. She has also spent most of the last century and a half away from Avernus so she hasn't been receiving the PM subtle changes that everyone on the planet is getting.

3. Mostly

@Durin will marrying the rogue trader help us when we unite with dragon's nes get more votes for our progressive agenda? Because if not how does marrying either of the dragon's nest provide closer ties with them?

Marrying Syr will get Alfons contact with St Lin. Not only would this have a good chance of shoring up his piety, it lets lets Lin place Imperial Truth missionaries on the rogue trader fleet and so spread it into the wider galaxy. That's good for humans they meet and it strengthens the message to neutral Xenos that the Trust is much more tolerant than the IoM was.

Dragon's Nest and the rest of the human polities IIRC are far more progressive than the Trust, which probably has the most conservative Mechanicus polity in existence.

Maybe. It depends on how the merger goes. As things are you do not know enough to say, but if you are looking for additional political support marrying the prince would be a better idea.

What drugs ? o_O

I am talking about the Avernite tendency to have more kids because half of them don't make it to adulthood.

That is a horrible idea. We have already been told several times by Lin himself not to go around spreading the New Imperial Truth. We only just got away with spreading it to the Dragon's Nest because they were so close. Our job is not to spread the new religion our mission from the Emperor is to survive and to do as little as possible to put us in danger.

How do you think they have more kids it's because of the drugs we take. That is why our growth was and still is so high despite living on a planet that kills more people than most of our wars. The Avernite tendency to have multiple children is a cultural thing made possible by our technology and drugs not from the Planet doing anything.

Actually, did we? I dimly remember him mentioning that it wasn't our purpose, but I don't think he ever said not to spread it or anything. It's not like proselytizing in some random human polities around us is going to attract more attention than being the strongest Imperial Remnant for thousands of lightyears around and one of the stronger ones in the galaxy.

He said in big gold not to take it as our main purpose and that it was to survive.

So not no, but don't be drawing ****ing attention to yourselves if not needed.

It is not our job to spread it. We are meant to survive so that when the Emperor returns those that he warned and does that survived can form the basis of the New Imperium. Going around spreading the Religious beliefs we have adopted is counter to our goal of laying low and riding out the storm.

Yeah, but like I said, proselytizing is really not going to be attracting much attention in comparison with pure strength.
Yes it will this is the settings where gods and higher beings are very much a thing. The more we spread it the stronger in the warp it becomes and the more noticeable it also becomes. We have to deal with the literal hellscape that is a refection of everything we do.

Spreading a religion that's certified free of Abomination bait and compatible with the culture of Imperial remnants seems useful to me. Ater all, if our RTs can reach them then their golden ships can reach us if they fall.

Yeah, I'm sure that adding (assuming we convert every uncorrupted remnant around us) a couple of trillion people, which is less than half of the combined population of the Trust and Dragon's Nest, is going to make the Truth very noticeable in the warp and make Chaos Gods and their servants pay attention to it.

Anyway, that reminds me: @Durin, is Dragon's Nest fully converted by now?
