A bit of a add on to @Doomed Wombat question.
1. Have we melted down the crashed Ships from the failed Crusade?
2. Have we given the Alloy to the Vangarian Guard?

I am sure we can send the Rogue traders after a couple of turns. 10 years is a lot of time for them to have a couple of kids.

Plus with Syr being an Avernite, she is sure to have lots of kids.
The Trader is going to need to stick around to help raise the Kids. And Syr is very much devoted to her work it might take awhile for her to have the multiple kids.

Trader: "COME ON KIDS LETS GO ON ADVENTUREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

"What do you mean that's against child safety laws?"

"Restraining order and divorce WTF!?"

@Durin
1. Just to check the Dragon Nest's military is up to date ATM?
2. Have the Vangarian Guard designed an advanced Battle Barge?
3. Oh yeah are you willing to say what our rogue trader went on expidition's for? Tech, people and information going by his character sheet?
1. last updated turn 122
2. they are working on it, it takes time due to how perfectionest they are being on this in their attempts to make the most over-engineered warship ever. On the plus size what they come up with will probebly have the firepower of a normal battleship and be able to shrug off enough firepower to wreck a command battleship

1. yes
2. yes

@Durin

1. Is Ridcully's Divination precise enough to give a straight Yes/No answer to whether someone will succeed or fail testing for a Knight-Titan? (ex: Sigmund/Syr's hypothetical child)
2. Is failing a Knight-Titan test as.. lethal as it seems to be in canon?

Changing vote because Prince doesn't look like he will win.

Did we ever find out if the +10% thrones is to base throne income (in which case it is not really that much given how much we multiply that from STC and education). Or is it applied after all of those?

I'm sticking with Sigmund. Set up the Knight House in Tarascon, and we've got Knights vs Dragons as a thing. That's too tempting to give up.

@Durin

1. How hard would it be to raise, for example, Uberti's Combat to 35 and higher if we dedicated all necessary Spend Time With Actions to that effect? I am quite concerned about dyingness.
2. Is it politically feasible, particularly as long as Syr is not Governor, for whomever we select not to stay on Avernus for extended periods of time?
3. Is Uberti's Genius Economist trait likely to open up actions to permanently improve our economy?
4. Is Uberti's Genius Economist trait a heritable trait? (If perhaps with low chance.)

It just has so much narrative power going for it I can't not go for it. Not to mention that it gets our family the ability to pilot Knights. The shear power of Knights with our family power is huge. Then if we ever get a psyker child they would be even more of a powerhouse.

1. Unknown, 30 gives you a very low chance of dying though
2. yes, if there is a good reason
3. possible
4. unknown, probably not. I really dislike simple eugenics so very few traits are inheritable

Guess its time I stop lurking and make my yearly post!

[X] Marry Baron Sigmund 'The Defiant' of the Aesir- best combat, decent Martial, allows formation of Knight House on Avernus.

See you guys next year!

@Durin
1Would having the rogue trader make it easier to sway Dragon's nest votes to our cause?
2 would the baron give us any political will to changing the governor of Asgard?

Why do you want to change the Lord Marshal? He hasn't acted in anyway counter to us or our interests. He has done well by his people even if he isn't as progressive as Sigurd was.

I cannot see Syr having lots of children from her marriage, she's a workaholic who will be in a political marriage with someone she probably won't see that often really and her relationship with any children she has will be distant at best. I'm guessing we will get a couple grandkids but not many.

OH GOD THE INTRIGUE!

But, yeah I dislike how utterly inflexible he is especially in regards to the tech trade where being generous was turned into submissiveness.

To say nothing of the fact he seems to have an inflated view of our abilities, since we're a tiny polity talking to the three biggest human polities in the galaxy with Primarchs some submissiveness is appropriate.

Because progressive is our interest. He voted against us for the tech trade, Sold our rightful Am to Vanaheim, voted against uniting with Dragon's nest and is a conservative that does not see the military view of us being screwed long term if we do not change and get more allies.

Fair enough just wanted to see why you wanted it. As for the AM yes it is a bit of a issue but we do not have any exclusive deal with them that says only we get the AM. Vanaheim needs some AM as well for systems on their ships.
