Ok so we have some more information.
ok Pro's for the Baron
Knight titans commander and trainer
Makes psyker titans easier to train.
Con's for the baron
We will have to train psyker titans and most likely pay the cost. Now we can get the high council to deferred some of the cost but they will cost a unspecified amount.

Rogue trader
Pros
Access to a merchant fleet
Get the whole merchant fleet one day
Can send him on expeditions which can lead to some interesting things.

Okay I am a little confused. What is a Knight House and what are the pro's and cons of it? I am still relatively new to the Warhammer fandom so this is new information to me.

A Knight House is a family and organization with the ability to pilot Knight-Titans. These are Titans that only require a single person instead of the multiple and much more expensive gear needed for regular Titans. The current Major Knight House in the Trust is the Aesir which is made up of several branches and which those are further split into Royal, Ducal, Baronial, Knightly, Nobel, and Earldoms which are between Ducal and Baronial. The Aesir were already one of the most individualist Houses in the Imperium before the fall. They have become even more progressive removing a lot of their old restriction improving the lives of the serf with much better gear education and opportunities. Knights are much cheaper to make than regular Titans and we already make the Knights for the Aesir anyways. We keep increasing the number of Knights we make for them every 50 years as their population grows and our output increases.

Not really. Vanaheim fleet by itself could take on the entire Dragon's Nest navy and have a shot at victory.
Mm that seems unlikely seeing as our current estimation of their fleet is about 100 years out of date.

These are Titans that only require a single person instead of the multiple and much more expensive gear needed for regular Titans.
They are also much smaller and proportionally less powerful.

knights are the less impractically huge version of titans.

*edit*...there are plenty of times where titans simply can't be used due to terrain concerns....

then again, our titans have the spechial weight-negating tech so till we get that tech on our knights (I don't think we do?), our titans might, ironically, be about as fast.....

[X] Marry Baron Sigmund 'The Defiant' of the Aesir- best combat, decent Martial, allows formation of Knight House on Avernus.

That is the ones we had at the start we now have every model and pattern of Knight available which are sized all the way to the size and power of a Warhound Titan. Not to mention any new models that the other major factions had made in the time between.
There is one class of knight that is warhound sized, the Acastus. Most of them are significantly shorter. We may only have the basic Acastus too, since the other one they've shown seems like it's connected to the Custodes.

If there were important standouts (if any) they'd likelyhave been pointed out.

I was originally going to vote for Amrit, but he doesn't seem very popular so I went for my runner-up option.

Yep, that is the one. But we do have all of the other which are from that size down. Also, I think it will be up to us to make some omakes about different ones that were made that are not part of the regular canon. Can't see Durin making up new ones on his own with everything else he has. I not sure if we upgrade the knights we build or not? We had several models of Knights when the warp storm went up and as we have gotten new tech I would assume the Aesir would ask for them to be upgraded. Since they are much smaller and easier to make upgrades might not be that difficult.

Knight Titan is winning but I persoythjnk we should go for the rogue trader since we can train psyker knight titans without the Baron .

The Knight dude is cool but we can do without him. We can still make Psy Knights without his assistance. It would just be a bit harder and even that can be somewhat remedied if we ask for the Trust's help in training them.

The Rogue Trader is wealthy and controls a tenth of the entire military production. Plus we gain the ability to send him out on expeditions to retrieve tech and important people.

I really like the idea of being able to send out out personal Rogue Trader on missions. So I'd have to go with Alfons Uberti.

It won't be a tad harder it will be over twice as hard and much slower to get to the same skill level as with him helping. It is also only cost that the trust will help because the Aesir would be busy working on their own Knights and none of the best would come to the planet without some sort of incentive. That means harder, longer, and less skilled for longer.

hmmm.

The last time military activities was updated was turn 99, but Durin might have updated their army since I think they only had 9000 astartes a while back...

I'll check later, but regardless jesus christ that's a lotta battlebarges.
Insides of the spoiler weren't updated in some time, but what's outside should relatively current, I believe.

the issue though is that I ponder how bad it would be if the heir to avernus's governership is gone 99.9% of the time....so we won't be able to send him all the time.

come to think of it, why can't we appoint new rogue traders? who would complain? the conservatives?

also, what can Rogues do that we can't anyway? how often do we really actually want to send out a fleet anywhere? we wanted to send ONE so far to my knowledge....and it got sent.

what places have we NOT been able to go?

anywaay, im going with Sigmond for rule of cool....psyker knights being more awesome due to better trained follows the rule of cool better I think....
(I don't think we will be getting more information inless the following happens......so I will vote for it)
[X] Arrange meetings between Syr and suitors
-[X] Baron Sigmund 'The Defiant' of the Aesir
-[X] Alfons Uberti of the Uberti Dynasty

but in all likely hood, just diving straight for marriage with Sigmond is seeming like the more likely thing it seems (its like 2 to 1 ratio by now by vote-count!)
