[X] Plan Serras Needs A Education

Observation: We are not so much increasing our power as we negating the debuff Chaos placed on us.

Statement: Pressuring the Orcs is a good tactic, but due to their ability to board our ships via teleportation will only give them more fuel for their War Engine when they slaughter the crew and take our ships. Drone ships without crews or crew stations for them to teleport into are needed to negate this tactic. That or a way to inhibit teleportation.

Agreement: Increasing the update time is suboptimal, but balanced by the extra actions it grants. AP expenditure should have a cost when we have so much.
Yeah lets go ahead and not feed the orks our ships cause we don't want to have more AP.

update time usually increases if we pick multiple different actions, if we dedicate more AP to existing actions then update size should not increase all that much.

Question: Can we order our ships to vent atmosphere when their crew is about to die or to self-destruct to deny the Orcs our ships?

Question: Can we order our ships to self-destruct vent atmosphere when their crew is about to wiped out or to self destruct to deny the Orcs our ships?

The former would be much more helpful than the latter. Automatic self-destruct charges on the reactor seem ripe for abuse, so the crew would likely need to intentionally set the reactor to overload.

Question: What is the stance the Mechanicus have in regards to the atmosphere void and self-destruct doctrine I proposed?

Better Question: Can we have our ships void their atmosphere before a battle with our troops relying on void rated armor to attempt to negate the Orcs teleport tactics?

True, but even just making it so they can't go through some corridors without ripping them up would drastically help counterboarding.

Couldn't we just make the corridors small enough so the orks can't fit. From the description, they are a lot larger than the average human.

Statement: While that may seem like a good idea, in theory, the Orcs can just teleport to the rooms unless you make those too small as well. If we do that I expect a drastic reduction in crew efficiency, but at least the crew will be alive to be inefficient I suppose. Still, there is no reason not to be prepared to fight in the void in case the Orcs somehow manage to board anyway. With everything I've read about them, it seems a poor idea to assume you're safe just because it's physically impossible for them to do something.
