[X] Push forward- You have come this far, you are not willing to falter on the final stretch. - One DC 230 roll, one DC 160 plague roll, then retreat. On survival earn honourbound favour from Eldar, on death earn minor favour

For anyone thinking 'the eldar can take up the slack' consider this:

In one direction the Ork Prophet Tarnoth the Killa has been diverted at great cost into one of the most powerful daemon worlds of the Lord of Decay, a Fortress of Rot, and Ku'Gath Plaguefather leads a mighty host to defend it. In another direction Ynnead herself leads an assault on another Fortress of Rot, attempting to inflict a final death on Typhus and the Destroyer Hive that he hosts. In countless other directions the Laughing Gods other plans go into motion, with Malal and dozens of other gods, both of chaos and independent launch assaults on the Garden of Nurgle, scattering the forces of plague as they move to defend their realm, stripping the inner realms bare of defenders.

The above are not things the eldar can trivially replicate. This is a masive push by a galactic power, arguably the greatest sane galatic power out there. This is bigger than the favors we could get, it's bigger than the Trust itself.
To be fair, Ridcully dying here helps no one, and there's something to be said for bird in hand, especially when it's pretty big, but it doesn't convince me.

[X] Fall Back- You have mapped out almost all of the path and confirmed Isha's presence, with the plague in you pushing forward leaves to great a risk of dying and losing all that you have gained. - Retreat, earn major favour from Eldar on survival and minor favour on death.

we should make sure we do not overreach this is 40k bad things happen when you overreach.

Ridiculy is important for us sure, less so for the galaxy. The Trust can't win this. The best long term plan we have had so far is survive until the Emperor returns and hope he can fix everything, This is our chance to make an impact on the galactic stage our chance to do more than survive and if it costs us... even if it costs us survival the Emperor has other options laid out, Saint Lyn explicitly said so.

I can't believe I'm appealing to this argument but what would the Emperor expect of Ridiculy here, to think of the Trust or of Humanity on a galactic scale?

we should make sure we do not overreach this is 40k bad things happen when you overreach.

They also happen when you do not reach far enough, it's called stagnation and Chaos profits from it in the end. case in point the Imperium. They were good little zealots who defended their 'holly realm' above all else and look what happened? The Emperor is dead, his Imperium in ruins and the major sane galactic power is the Eldar because they acted against Slaanesh.

[X] Push forward

Not much to say, but going forward is the way to go. And damnit, I don't want to overreach, but at the same time Nurgles defenses would be skewed towards Eldar, Tzeentch, & Slaanesh; not a Human seer.

Ok being serious here Ridicully going forward And getting the bonus/blessing from Isha is Ridicully best chance of surviving since he has to roll everything but finding the path on the way out. Including all those plague rolls.

A man's reach should exceed his grasp. These is from a poem that talks about men should attempt things even if they are impossible because if they do not great things will not get done, especially by the meek.

Yeah, i'm hopeful that if ridcully reaches isha that she can remove any plague malus.

@Durin, just wanted to clarify:
1. If we pull back we need to make one plague roll per area we've cleared so far?
2. If we push forward we need to succeed at a single pair of rolls?
3. Do we need to push through any additional areas before making that escape roll?

I am deeply conflicted, on the one hand Ridcully has only about a 1/4 chance of death from what Durin is saying, on the other major benefit to future rescue.
