Well, if they have 8 or so, then they wouldn't need to build up their ground defenses.
We are playing as the governor of Avernus not Vanaheim. If they need to they can ask for it or the low council will be able to fund them with the new tax plans in place. Vanaheim is also one of the richest world with its large population and ship building industry. I am bringing up the subsidies of helping somewhat with defense. Also anything that just helps Vanaheim would loose support.

On a personal note I Want Mikaelsson to get fired and bring back best uncle in law so our fleet orders get priority. And the secret behind close door deals we can make. Since direct interference is a bad idea.

But they are running a deficit to be the main builders for us since we dont have forge world and their mining networks to support them more or less so thats why to avoid future economic issues trust wide letting our shipbuilder get f-ed doesnt seem like a great idea.

There is nothing we can do to specifically help them without loosing a lot of our good will. The plan I have now looses one with Midgard and Nilfhiem and I am still waiting to see from Durin how much we will have to change to get it to pass.

They have a Webway gate on the planet, it's how they got invaded before.
Well probably.

It's hard to tell with the Eldar, seeing how they're also the naval stealth experts so its entirely possible they just waltzed onto the planet from orbit.

Probably a webway gate though...

I'd actually be curious to know how much of the network is intact...like still functional...and by that I mean how many of the entrances/exits are not blocked.

Wait where was these?
We've known it for ages, they apparently tried to colonise a maiden world a long time ago and Beil Tan kicked the crap out of them, which is one of the reasons why they're so xenophobic compared to the rest of the Trust, Bertil even used this as part of his reasoning for not contacting the Eldar...not a great argument if you ask me seeing as this was about 6000 years ago, but hey ho. As for this it was mentioned very recently.

Also we now have a reason for why the Core worlds have the names they do, apparently it was because the first explorer out here (named Charles Sturt) liked old names.

Also nother theory for the origin of Surt.

[] Plan in these together
- vote for the third option
-propose a subsidiary of 10 percent to help with the new standard of defenses required till new standard is reached
- propose a rebate of 10 percent for all building of forges
-use one favor with Midgard and Nilfhiem to convince them to vote

-speech as followed
I believe in the trust and hope for the future. As long as we stand together and work together we will be able to overcome anything. With my proposed plan I believe we will be able to grow and protect the trust.
First we need to go with the more extreme option for funding. We have used stockpiles in the past when needed for a emergency and to help with building our military in the past and will need them agian in the future againstour enemies . I believe we will need Second of the propose subsidies will help our fellow neighbors bring up new defenses to protect our people. Allow more forges to be built and help the growth of AM and EM. Which can only benefit the trust and all of us.

@Durin would these plan pass?

Considering the bitter politics going on in Vanaheim wouldn't that be something for someone to point out there; sure Bertil tried to fight it and lost and sure it'll be a bigger economic weight but the Eldar had attacked from the group up to the orbitals, behind the defenses.

Bloody Omake fuel.

BTW I have just learned something disturbing.

Apparently Fabius Bile's goal (aside from averting his death) is to recreate the Emperor...dunno if he can, but apparently its been his other major job for the last few thousand years.

Also here's some nice art of the Primarchs.

Sticking with the ones who are alive in quest

And cause I like it Magnus

Also a picture of cute salamanders

On the other hand we just did a thing to trade with them...so that complicates matters too.

Actually not all the Eldar are United. There are some Eldar not with the empire of ash or the dark Eldar. And they are still dicks, but they give out tech so....

Those are the Exodite eldar who are dicks, but not in the same way...they're isolationist and only take an interest in outside affairs when people try to land on their worlds and colonise them.

I don't think we're going to be seeing them attacking Vanaheim.

And as you said they're also giving out tech so I get the feeling they've adapted to the times.

[X] Plan in this together

Only option so far (that isn't in the update). And I am assuming English is your third/fourth language @Nurgle ? because it should be "In this together". I am not a lignuist so I can't explain the "why", but grammatically(?) it should be "this". Blech. Now, suplex those Anti-Vaxxers straight into your garden FOR GREAT JUSTICE CHAOS.

Nope autocorrect is just a dick

@Durin
1. Curiosity question, to our best understanding (being on Avernus and all that) what are the xenophobia levels on a place like Midgard? Still fanatical purifier levels, or starting to go towards more common xenophobia?
2. If the Eldar decide to send a representative to talk to us face to face (because I'd imagine both Ridcully and Eldrad can't spend all their time yelling at one another through warp space) can we ask them not to come through Vanaheim (unless there's like no other option.)
3. Will we be asking the Eldar about alternate FTL in this thing or not (it's not explicitly stated, but it seems like the kinda small thing (relatively speaking) that could be slipped in easily enough especially with the high council's apparent interest.)

Yeah, I still recall my tablet's autocorrect giving me "Midget Subway" for the Midgard Sector and "Blackstone Midget Subway" for Basis of their society. Only thing worse than autocorrect is when it's combined with a penis ouija curse. Can never say "s ong" because it always turns into "d ong". Stupid juvenile curses...
