Than I have to ask you to explain in more detail or translating the hidden meaning into common english because I either do not understand it the right way, my english does not alow me to understand it or there is a common toung expression that my school english did not cover.

Basically every time we fail we get a -15% to the next try.

It's not hidden or an expression or anything like that, the option states that failing reduces our chance of success.
Not -15%, -15% the margin of failure. A noteworthy difference.
Is it than not generally impossible? At least for the crystals as they have natively -300%.
I understand it as -15% reduces means reduces the native -150%. As in lowering the -150% to a number that is smaller (like -140%) and not a lower chance.
Durins explaination said that the crystals were chiffred to the point of holding their secrets for decades of attemts of the Man of Iron.
If each attemt further lowers the chance it would be impossible instead of more possible with each attemt.
In conjunction with cheating and doubling the action to get an artificial double down, progress should be able to be made. At least that's what Durin has indicated.
Getting more progress than cumulative -15% would be at best hard (lots of luck with rolls) if not impossible.
Again, it's not 15%, it's 15% the margin of failure. So if we fail by 50, the difficulty increases by 7-8 (depending on whether it is rounded up or down from 7.5). If the bonus cheating provides is more than that, then the action becomes easier.

we coudl call them the green guard or something. since they are likely going to focus totally on orks. Though I'm not sure if we need a separate organization to this or if we could have existing trust forces establish permanent monitoring.
