What else is there beyond that? Saying our semblance let us make the Transistor seems like it make us less of a threat because bullshit semblances are just a thing that happens, rather than us being an ultra super genius. I mean, obviously don't tell him about Cell and the Process, but that's not really relevant here and doesn't seem like it'd come up?

That's what I meant, just tell them that our semblance made the AI that wanted to meet another AI because that's the truth and it's the only relevent bits to what's going on.

It isn't the only choice.

Look, in the end, all this quest is, is one big gambling simulator. You could pull off grabbing your sword, Turn()ing, and just Breach()ing him until he sees God...

But I'd need a damn good roll out of you, on a -3 modifier. I won't stop you from doing something stupid. I'll heavily advise against it, I'll politely ask you not to, I'll not so politely insult your plans, but I'll never outright veto a single plan unless it goes into actively trying to kill Jaune.

If it was the only choice you had, it wouldn't have been a vote.

@Prok, how well would this work? The big stumbling block is getting our friend talking to the guy threatening us in the first place, but it wouldn't risk Jaune messing up at social.

Clever man.

That would lower the difficulty on Jaune's part, but he would still need to roll, just for a much lower threshold- the whole truth, versus "it's for you."

However, that then runs into a different problem of actually getting the gunman to take the phone call. If it gets traction, it's certainly not the worst plan you could come up with.

Why would it? I doubt that Turn()ing and whatever follows is actually a social roll.
 
Quick question, but I think it's fairly obvious that the Transistor should be queuing up a Reboot automatically, despite what we choose, right? I can't imagine it wouldn't do so the moment we were threatened, but I feel like we should probably clarify if that's actually going to happen unless we vote for it.
