We definitely need to do that, it might even help with piercing the shroud that Plagueis and Sidious have placed on the force.

I mean we might just get that forcepower that makes you imortal. Or we could always just go and drink from one of the fountains of the ones to turn into a creature like Abeloth. Speaking of Abeloth I think the reason she whent crazy was because she used the fountain of the dark side and the one for the light side, so could we do the same without going crazy?

We just need to drink them both at the same time rather than one and then the other.

I don't think that would work. We could do one or the other, but not both. If you look at the Son and Daughter, they both tried to take shortcuts from drinking from their respective pools, and neither is quite stable.

I mean we are special though we see that Anakin can overpower both of them at the same time and we got the whole balance of the force thing going for us where we have to embrace both the light and the dark side so we might be able to do so.

One of the many reasons to dislike the prequels is that they made lightsaber duels suck. They did this by shifting the focus from narrative weight to flashy choreography. In the original trilogy the iconic lightsaber fights were the culmination of deep philosophical arguments. Once you abandon that in order to stuff more glowy stuff onto the screen you enter into a downward spiral that doesn't really have a stopping point.

 
Here's what I'm thinking for making two lightsabers cheaply.

-Dual (2CP)
-2x Normal: +2 Wisdom (0CP)
-2x Kasha: +2 Wisdom (2CP)
-2x Purple

Total cost: 4CP
+8 Wisdom

Since we receive a bonus to CHA/INT from Dooku, wisdom is lacking in modifiers. Taking Wisdom modifiers on our saber will help this, and it will let us do more damage with Force abilities in battle.

If we spread ourself too thin, try to do too many things at once, while gain versatility, we lose in power.

Meh. I don't like dual lightsabers, at the limit I prefered a lightsaber and a small lightsaber. It makes more sens for me. But I everybody wwants it...

Yes and no.

Yes using a dual saber requires you to train Jar'kai, but after that....

2d whatever style you're using (Strength, Intell, or Ataru) Can be a huge difference compared to 1d.

You can potentially double your damage output.

So all things being equal. With a Strenght mod of +16 the difference would be

1d16 vs. 2D16 for damage.

Is dual wielding strictly better combat wise, or are there downsides like reduced force usage, inability to do other things, etc? I still think one-handed is the best option just cause it fits thematically for Anakin but I'm just curious.

Downside is mastering Jar'Kai. No detriments to using the Force. Hand motions are simply a focus.

Double is the same as dual as it relates to damage.

Choosing a shoto gives you Dexterity as opposed to whatever other stats are offered. No other boosts or detriments

Where is the lightning going to come out of, Anakin's eyes?

With what Arthellion said there is no real reason to not pick dual sabers, even though I prefer the single saber aesthetically. Guess I'm voting for dual.

I feel like using a single saber should give a bonus to hit or something.

And it does. You only have to master Shii Cho. And it costs no CP
 
Shii Cho is better defensively because it prevents the AC nullification that Juyo offers.
Is it possible to master both Shii Cho and Jar-Kai while using dual sabers?
