It'll turn out that Henrietta is super-bad at film crit and gets the exact wrong message :(

Isn't it sad Henriette?

She should roll... Manipulation (3) + Computers (5) for making her little sister super mad. She can enhance this with procedures as she wishes.

"Giant Stompy Robots are fighting Giant Stompy Monsters! Pacific Rim 2 must have come out early! Time to get some snacks and forget all about that annoying derelict ship." *Synthesizes a kaiju-sized bucket of popcorn*:p

Also, I kinda want to add some bells and whistles to a Chronal Torpedo so it can pull this.

Incidentally, I'll just point out to people that while Ms Clock finding out that thing about Donald may not be instantly actionable (although I would point out that Donald already has a black mark on his file for known blacksliding, and quite a few enemies in the Syndicate - and Roth can sure as hell use both of them) the thing about her finding about the fact that Donald's got in touch with his Spirit and reframed it into the Technoparadigm is that she finds out something which wasn't even in his dossier. Donald's Spirit is one of his trump cards which he keeps totally secret and which is not dependent on his infrastructure. If she knows about it, she can bring people with DSci 2 to shut him down (because Spirit is very prone to being fucked up by some simple DSci things), and considering that... well, she's Jamelia 1.1, having the capacity to bug the fuck out across the Gauntlet using a skillset she never knew he had is something which can genuinely surprise her. And Donald is usually very dependent on his infrastructure and Jamelias are very good at targeting people's focuses.

If it comes down to a clusterfuck, the capacity for Donald to see tracking spirits with a camera and take a wild leap into quant-land and damn well force someone's gun to kick and go wide because the person shooting at him is loyal to the Union and killing Donald would act against the Union's best interests for maximising its utility may be the only card he has to play.

Anyway. Henriette enhancements.

[Henriette - Mind 1 - Her mind is trained. Disciplined. Under her control thanks to NWO training. And perhaps more relevantly here, has a supercomputer inside which is intermeshed with her organic neural architecture. The NWO might say that human mind is a tool which can do things by intuition, but Henriette has had her ADEI since she was tiny - it is part of her human mind. She can leave it operating with her full judgement as she sleeps, because just as her organic bits of her brain have learned NWO discipline and self-knowledge, so have the mechanical parts. This effectively gives her more time to work on the problem and allows her to work in "teamwork" with herself. Fuck knows what mechanical effect that might have, maybe some more dice or getting to effectively take "longer" doing it. Enhanced by Int + Computer]

Obviously it lets you do parallel processing and error correction. So um, roll her Enlightenment (5) + Mind (1) for a total of 6d10e7.

If you succeed, roll the 8d10e7 base pool she has (successes + 1) times and take the highest result from this spread.

Hmm, that's actually a really good point. I hadn't really thought about that, but it's a good point. And if Donald's clean he'll be in a better position to protect the others, like Serafina. Her being a suicide risk and that being known... is that worth trading off for Donald's trump card?

I really don't know.

As I see it the problem with Serafina being known as a suicide risk is that Clock can target attacks at her to get her to suicide, requisition her backups- possibly even without her suiciding, and then recruit her backup copy, which knows almost everything the current Serafina knows. And that would be really, really bad for us.

Of course with Donald unsullied he'd be able to fight any such requisition requests, but.. .

I suppose there's nothing preventing Clock from sleuthing out the stuff about Serafina already... Am I prepared to lose her as a character, theoretically?

Honestly... yes. That's not a comfortable realization, but the more I think about it, the more I realize that as jarring as it would be, as damaging to our effectiveness, there are ways to defend against it, to prevent it from happening, and even if it does, the qualitative loss would be much less than losing access to Donald's resources.

Damn you, @EarthScorpion

[X] Jamelia's Daughter is Alice Aristride
[X] The Security Codes to the LA Construct
[X] Serafina is a Suicide Risk.

Ugh. Given the new clarity on the codes, I have to agree.

[X] Jamelia's Daughter is Alice Aristride
[X] The Security Codes to the LA Construct
[X] Serafina is a Suicide Risk.

What happened to the trend of increasing cooperation with the Glass Walkers? I personally found that particular potential alliance to be very interesting and would like to see how it developed in a situation in which the Technocracy had abundant resources. Would the subversion of the werewolves be aided by the provision of additional resources or would it be abandoned?

Changing vote:

[X] Jamelia's Daughter is Alice Aristride
[X] The Security Codes to the LA Construct
[X] Serafina is a Suicide Risk.

[X] Further infuriate Henrietta
-> [X] Monster Movie Marathon Message

[X] Jamelia's daughter is Alice Aristide.
[X] The security codes to the LA Construct.
[X] Serafina is a suicide risk.

Does this mean that Alice has three mommies?

Fairly confidently I can predict that... well, this timeline has a slightly moderated version of the late 2e Technocracy winning. This isn't the resource-poor, messy-compromise Union of PQ which builds off the Revised Technocracy and which has sacrificed ideological purity for pragmatism. This is a Technocracy which can afford to work on Project Kill Everything Supernatural - and which also hasn't dealt with its own internal Nephandic corruption/too close ties to Pentex as well, so there's still rather more Syndics who consider werewolves and their actions against Pentex to be cutting into their bottom line.

Doggies gonna get genocided slowly and methodically.

That's just a fail, just roll her regular pool. Spend Willpower or don't.
If we spend Willpower (we can only spend one, but can we spend Prime to boost our roll as well, since this is a magic test?), that gives us one success, which means we can roll our eight die pool again, to get more than four sux, right? I'd say do it, but I'm not sure if it's only NS' decision, since he's the one that rolled.

4 successes off 8 dice is already above average. It probably won't help - if you want to spend wp, you'll probably be better off boosting the primary roll.

Clearly Henriette's ADEI has learned HUMANITY from her and thus it got tired and went to sleep too. She knew she shouldn't have let Donald buy it Chillax.exe as an upgrade.

...I missed the take the highest result. Somehow. Despite rereading it three times thinking that adding them together was so overpowered I couldn't be reading it correctly.

... shit. Okay, fine, good point on the Donald thing. Changing my vote again, urgh. Okay, new, current, proper, actual vote:

[X] Jamelia's daughter is Alice Aristide.
[X] The security codes to the LA Construct
[X] Serafina is a Suicide Risk.

Do we know when Serafina has made her last brain tape? As death is after all something curable if one has important parents like her. I fear it was prior to Muscovy considering the secrets that she is carrying with her.
And that her parents might decide to finetune her instead of using a normal shrink to deal with her issues.
