[DISCONTINUED] In the Beginning, There Was Man (WH40k x SC)

-[X] Fem!Cap for maximum lulz! :p

---[X] Black Widow perk

The fallout setting did sound like a great idea! Female even better. Black Widow perk gets you more waifu (husbandu?) options from your silver tongue. And better anti male combat power too I suppose. And of choose the name of the perk synergies so much with a lost friend/team member!

Remember that list of possible crossovers for ITB? Guess what!~
Hah! Yeah one day we might do those. A decade or so away I'd say. :p

[X] YES

Sounds very interesting. I'd prefer Fallout or ME. Ooh, Commander Shepard and Captain America fighting together!

@torrmercury Would there be any other aspects of the Marvel-Universe (Mutants, Asgardians, magic, Iron Man- and other supertech, Hydra, etc.)?

Hi all! I just finished settling in to my new apartment with my lovely Bitzy, got a new mattress, new supremely expensive pillows, a new bedframe for said new bed, and life is grand. :D
I'm genuinely surprised that there's been no unsubtle suggestive comments in response to this. The community has surprised me once again.
TORR, SHOULD YOU MAKE THIS QUEST?

Please.
As the good Ruirk has said, the Cap in Fallout sounds fascinating and a cracking good time.

Yes, you should do Fallout.
In WH40k he would get stomped by the first chaos marine he meets(unless you make the cap a lot stronger than MCU)
And he would be redundant in ME

[X] YAAAAAAAS!

If this somehow becomes a prequil detailing the early days of the age of strife I'd be SO happy.

The thing with ME is all the soldiers are already gene modded stronger. Cap would just be a perhaps slightly above average marine. Also the whole America fuck yeah thing may not go over well with a united humanity, especially with the US no longer existing.

It is surprising how good a fanfic with Captain America in Fallout sounds. I did a search at fanfiction to see if anyone else had the same idea. Only saw two stories in the Marvel/Fallout section. Both very short incomplete sub 10k stories. :(

There may be more not in that section but I only did a quick check.

The gene mods that Alliance soldiers get put them in peak human condition, whereas the super soldier serum Cap got put him above peak human level. Not much, but it still did. And Captain America is not "America, Fuck Yeah!". He's loyal to the idea, not the nation.

Another quest idea I had for Mass Effect, no crossovers:

SV plays as Saren when he first discovers the Reaper threat and Sovereign. Basically, how does Saren confront that along with the rest of his sins and hatred for humanity? Obviously he'll choose to fight against the Reapers instead of in canon where he tries to make sure the Reapers spare them, but I'm super interested in seeing his character played out in a different way and see how he may evolve. Also no one has the idiot ball. As with ItB, everything will make sense (even the stupid decisions made by NPCs).

Soooooooooooooo I'm really torn right now. I want to write the Captain America in Fallout quest as well as this one. Maybe I'll run them simultaneously? /shrug

Which do you all want to see more?
[] Captain America in Fallout with other crossovers
[] Mass Effect: Saren Redux
[] Both
[] Neither

Should I try to run them simultaneously?

The problem with a Saren Redux is that the reason canon Saren made the choices he did was that he was being Indoctrinated, but had a will strong enough to sort-of fight it; it was the strain between those that led him to his whole "help the Reapers to spare the Turians" fake-compromise. Running that as a quest would mean trying to balance the will of the players with the will of Sovereign's Indoctrination imperatives, and that will be really, really hard to model correctly without the players getting butthurt if/when Saren falls to his Indoctrination. I think that might take some time to come up with a good mechanic, although I admit the idea is really intriguing.
