[X] Blast some of the asteroids nearby to create a path for the fleet to get out of and above the asteroid field (Bad defensive position within the system, somewhat harder to access mineral rich asteroids, no risk of ship damage, very easy to make an emergency transition into the Warp without damage)

Can't answer that directly, but I did say a bit more in an edit to that post. Also I'll leave you with this: depending on the order you heal The Emperor in, you'll have different long term benefits/detriments. I can't say what'll do what, except that in every instance there will be both. Nothing will bad end you though.

You lose a Baneblade and gain a Wraithlord (without a soul). I was going to write in how this happened but I completely forgot to. I'll write something while the vote is ongoing and tack it onto the update in an edit.

Are there any asteroids big enough that we can turn them into habitats? Ie, hollow out and seal spaces inside of them, then use that space to set up habitation, farms, industry, and the like?

So, uh, I get that we have to 'set-up shop' to send out probes... but I thought that was the whole point of choosing to either stay in the Warp, in the Mineral Field, or just outside of it. So setting-up shop should technically already been done.

1. We can't explore/send out probes yet because we need to set-up shop.
2. But isn't the [Park in Asteroid Field], [Park outside Asteroid Field], [Stay in Warp], etc, options about us already choosing to set-up shop?

So, yeah, how entrench do we have to be before we can start probing the system? :???:

Oohh. No setting up shop is anchoring and then converting your ships for use in industry, farming, or science. From there, you can start sending out probes to scan for high yield deposits, asteroids you can hollow out, and other things.

Edit: Basically what I'm trying to say is you need an "industrial base" so to speak, before you can make use of the asteroid field.

Edit 2: Also because there's a special event that's going to happen soon from the crit fail and from Delta's omake. *hint hint*
