Yeah, very interested in their perspective on all of this.

At least it doesn't seem like we need spend an action on this next. The Lamenters & Lord of Eternity seem to have it all handled. We probably should make diplomatic contact with them though, to build on the gains made here and not let this goodwill fade into history. I also wonder how the map of Unfallen will change.

So - theorycrafting for next turn. Here's what we did last turn:
[X] Plan: A Knightly Gift
-[X] [Free] Assign 20 Choirs to Glint of Genius
-[X] [Free] Consecrate In Sacred Sand (Howling Gale - Abyssal eye)
-[X] [Free] Swap ISC to Green Horizons Colonization LTD
-[X] [Free] [AUTOMATIC] System Subversion - after the poison gift, the new focus is The Talon in the Qo system

-[X] [General] Ministry of Subversion, Infiltration, and Interstellar Communication x2
--[X] The Grand Gift( Poison) (0/2) x2
--[X] The Family Buy-Out (0/2) (Bonus Action)
-[X] [Military] Sector Battle Group Construction And Repair
--[X] 2x Long Range Anti-Duchy Specialist Fleets (0/1)
-[X] [Free] Adjust the LRAD composition to be 4 Pegasus-class Command Cruisers, 13 Hydrus-class Rad Cruisers, 3 Andromeda-Class Guide Ships, 6 Scutum-class Shield Frigates, 5 Sagittarius Lance Frigates and 2 Lupus destroyers.
Assuming that nothing else has blown up, it seems to me like this is a solid plan:
1. (general action) Finish the Ashan Buy-out.
2. (general action) Do a colonization action to grab Gigachad & the new worlds past Brans.
3. (Free general action) Formally contact the Lords of Eternity or throw a diplomatic action towards the Shipright's or do an action to make the Black Cat subversion go well or throw one action towards the Planetmaw.
4. (Psykana/military/research action?) Sing a song? Hippty Hoppity time? Maybe upgrade The Sun to go for Star? Make another pair of LRADs? Do an action to build bigger Knights?

Free actions to keep an eye on:
Switching the ISC back to New Dawn.
Keep Consecrating Irridanus.
Swap our second Subversion slot over to the second Black Cat system when we finish with Malusian - Malus.

We switched fleet doctines to Skirmish Carrier in 990.M42, so in 3ish more turns we can swap to Crusader focus and do another ship redesign, this time revamping the Andromeda with the Carronade and getting more bonuses to the Scorpio & Crux, finally designing an orrery-based scout.

I think mechanically I'd love to do more civilization-focused songs, so I'll be combing the list soon for other things that might give us cool bonuses.

Thoughts? What did I miss?

I think the Andromeda would do well to get the Orrery, I think. It can't equip the Carronade though, that's minimum Heavy Cruiser.

Here are some songs I'm currently interested in (I've underlined our level II/III melodies to show how close they are to upgrading, and the songs that would also be sung starting at level II)
Better Days Are Fought For By Kindred Efforts - Hope, Unity, Struggle, Compassion, Humanity
Advance Upon Uncertain Paths - Technology, Progress, Creativity, Logic (note that Advance Upon Difficult Paths was the one that got us the +50% general action bonus)
Spirits of Machinery - Technology, Technology, Logic, Creativity
There Are No Maladies We Cannot Overcome - Compassion, Hope, Health, Death, Justice
The Ways Of The Galaxy Can Be Changed - Hope Hope Progress Progress Progress
Hope Beyond Reason, Build Without Fear - Hope Hope Compassion Humanity Home
Refuse Rusting Gears - Grounding Protection Technology
Hippity Hoppity, Where The FUCK Are Our Ancestor's Properties?! - Humanity Technology Technology Perception Perception
Progress Through Means Bright - Technology, Progress, Creativity, Hope and Innovation
Progress Through Means Iterative - Technology, Progress, Creativity, Hope and Machinery
See The Way The Ancestors Progressed - Humanity Technology Perception Hope Progress
A Path Forseen Is One Easily Walked - Wisdom Logic Technology Progress Hope
Avoid Pitfalls Leading To Dead Ends - Perception Wisdom Technology Progress Hope
A Spark Of Unfettered Genius - Innovation, Progress, Creativity, Hope, Technology
Heartbeat Of Industry - Struggle, Fire, Machinery, Unity, Hope, Song

And some other ones I want to keep on the back burner, but maybe not go for now.
Shield Us From The Influence Of The Four - Protection, Hope, Grounding, Health, Protection
Paints Of Coming Fights Triumphant - Home Creativity Perception Struggle Hope
Nova Explosiva Killinga - Sun, Fire, Death, Death, Death
A Burning Sword Against The Foe - Fire, Death, Justice, Struggle
You Shall Find No Reprieve From The Just Blade - Humanity Ruthlessness Perception Perception Justice

Here's our list of level II melodies: Fire, Protection, Sun, Humanity, Creativity, Song, The Home, Logic, Unity, Progress, Hope, Technology, Struggle. It looks to me like perception, innovation, compassion & wisdom are all prime targets for another upgrade, since they'll upgrade multiple of the songs above. For combat songs, Death & grounding are also good,

Thanks to @Weaving_Dreamer for compiling the list of these & keeping it updated.

Pretty sure we could do both. Proposed build with the Crusader Fleet Carrier Focus so we can stick a Carronade on a light cruiser, & avoiding the DP costs for the micro-warp engine.
Andromeda-S Command Ship
-Length - 3.600m
-Width - 400m
-Acceleration - 5.5 Gravities
-Armor - Medium Double Hull
-Shields - One Matrix
-Weapons - Tetratek ARc Cannonade
-Equipment - Lattice Hulls/Micro-Warp Jump Engine/The Celestial Orrery/Hymns of the Machines
DP cost: 25 base, +3 length, +4 width, +0 acceleration, +0 shields. -4 Carronade, -2 flat equipment tax. -2 Lattice Hulls, -7 Micro-Warp-Jump Engine, -8 The Celestial Orrery, -10 Hymns of the Machines total = 0

I don't think this is a final design (drop some armor/shields for chapels?), but's a good summary of my vision for the Andromeda. It should never be near battle and with the micro-jumping nothing can catch it, and it's decently tough regardless. It can hit things from AU away with the carronade, and it can scout for the fleet with the orrery.

Current Andromeda for reference:
Andromeda-Class Command Ship
-Length - 3.600m
-Width - 400m
-Acceleration - 3.5 Gravities
-Armor - Thick Single Hull
-Shields - One Array
-Weapons - 1x Medium Fighter Hangar (Total: 48 Fighters)
-Equipment - Veteran Pilot Genelines/Armored Bridges/Strict Pilot Training/Hymns of the Machines

@HeroCooky I was just scrolling through our songs to see what else we could upgrade - and I noted that you don't have the components of Diverting Power listed in the songs post. Here:
Songs - Rituals created by blending three or more Melodies together. They are capable of affecting planets at the larger end, yet pay the price for their power by inflicting horrendous wounds on the Choir using then if used in combat against void ships/stations or entire armies.

Dirge for the Innocent - Allows you to lay the uneasy dead of an entire world to rest, denying those souls to Chaos. (As long as they hadn't already pledged themselves to it.)
Bound To The Stars - Enables your Choirs to act as akin to a bad Navigator. This enables you to traverse Unstable Warp Routes without suffering Daemonic Incursions or collisions with Warp Titans.
A Web Of Song - Enables a Choir to forward messages up to three systems away as long as there is another Choir stationed there.
A Glint of Genius - Can assign up to 20 Choirs to Research, adding +0.01 Research per Action Spent per Choir.
Turn Their Eyes Away - Enables a Choir to turn nearly all attention from them and those within a ~50km radius.
Break Your Chains - This Song amplifies and enhances feelings and sentiments of dissatisfaction, agression, rebellion, and dissent within all who hear it, growing stronger the more people hear and act on the feelings roused, while being focused against the foes of the Hymnals instead of following the mind of the crowds.
Diverting Power - Enables a Choir to divert hostile Warp Energies around a small bubble centered on themselves to another place. The size of the bubble can be improved by Psytech, Arcane Sigils, Sacrifice, and Power.
The Devouring Mechadendrite - Each Choir assigned to this Song grants an extra 2% Progress to [General] Actions, Research Excluded, up to 50%.

Components:
Dirge for the Innocent - Divine Inspiration
Bound To The Stars - Song III, Humanity II, Protection II, The Sun II, The Home II, Fire II
A Web Of Song - Protection II, Song III, Unity II, Fire II, The Sun II, The Home II
A Glint of Genius - Technology II, Progress II, Creativity II, Hope II
Turn Their Eyes Away - Silence, Protection II, Grounding, Perception
Break Your Chains - Struggle II, Fire II, Humanity II, Unity II, Hope II, Song III
The Devouring Mechadendrite - Technology II, Progress II, Creativity II, Logic II, Song II
I was able to track it down as Grounding, Home, Protection. Could you add that to the post above?
-[X] [Psykana] Sing a Song: Bubble Against Power - Grounding, Home, Protection
But I also want to ask - have we actually used it for anything? It was an attempt to defend against the Flyssa's & null-nets that did nothing in the end (because the Flyssa's jumped the carriers instead of the Leos & the null-nets are a perfect counter for choir stuff - derp.) So I'm wondering if there's even a point to upgrading it until we're fighting enemies that actually use psykana on a large scale.

I do want to know if we get any explanation of why they just seem to be genetically hard-wired to be Evil, or if there's some psychic bullshit going on that enforces Evil in them.

I guess it just wasn't that visible, especially since we haven't came across other people who could make grand displays of Psychic power in space other than maybe the Lords of Eternity and we're allied with them now. And since we don't get a look at ground battles often, we don't see it get used when fighting against hostile psykers.
