I just want to point out that our latest attempt at 'diplomacy' was smacking it with dirt. That's kind of shitty and pathetic, especially since it didn't even hit.

Also this is a mess to say the least. Our attempts at diplomacy were kind of pathetic and failed, we attacked it and failed to do more than harm it and we are in no way strong enough to stop this insanely powerful eagle in a fight.

I think we honestly can't hope to cause any significant damage to the eagle with our scythe other than being momentary distraction.. We would get pecked out.

I like the plan, but I think it just needed a little more. Let's beat that chicken up.

If we actually managed to hurt the eagle enough to lose concentration, it would land... pretty much on top of our friends. Ergo, attacking and strangling are too risky.

First instinct was that he was making something to climb on the eagle too, but now I think he was just making something to protect from the lightning.

Yeeting them removed them from the lightning protection, but the Giant Lightning Chicken has had plenty of time to kill us if it wanted.

I will change my vote if someone else has an idea I like. I do not think that we should end this encounter with violence. It's annoying that the Eagle won't just make peace. So since it won't, we do, and that might mean we piss off the King in Olympus.

As someone who has owned chickens I believe myself to be qualified to answer this.

The answer is yes.

Some chickens are meek fearful creatures. They will always turn away first squawking loudly and generally making a mess of things.

Other chickens remember. They remember that long ago they used to be dinosaurs and that humans used to be food. They have sharp beaks and claws while humans have soft tasty skin. They never turn away first. It doesn't matter if what they're rushing is literally 12x bigger than they are these chickens will always go forward regardless of lies before them.

Most chickens are also moronic jerks who thrive off of suffering and pooping on everything. But that's probably just me projecting.
 
I really like the speed ladder idea - it would be so cool to have Sam ride the chicken. The throttle vote and the ride vote are both in a tie so far though.. So why don't we combine both and make the harness speeded and suppressed too? In the throttle vote Sam needs to maneuver himself anyway so he can be safe from the chicken trashing about.
