Her name was Ariadne and she ends running away with Theseus who abandons her on an island. Mr. D. has a hatred for the sons of Poseidon, because of this, since she ends as his wife and eventually even ascends to godhood.
The story is a little more complicated since it's unsure whether Theseus was made to leave her behind, because he knew Dionysus wanted Ariadne or he did it because he just didn't care for her. Either way it'easily found online if you feel like reading a little on it.
Now in the Percy Jackson universe, the Labyrinth exists beneath the States, having moved alongside the Gods and it has become an ever changing sprawled maze with multiple entrances. Many normies often find it and are unable to ever leave it, and end up dying there. In one of the books, such an entrance is discovered in Camp-Half Blood and poses a great threat, since Luke wants to use it to move his army through it and destroy the camp.

@Monk Penguin Have you ever seen the system that "Ninja Ninja Tactics" from QQ uses for rolls? i feel like this system would work really well in this quest. Here is an explained example.
Defeat the Enemy Ninja dc 10/30/60/90/10*/50*/20** (the higher on each of these difficulties the better the result)
This is chosen with QM rolling d100= 86 + 15 for perks/time based buffs/omake bonus = 101 Crit Roll (The purpose of training is to increase the +15 but other things also effect it)
Crit Roll 1 - QM rolls d100 = 100 ( Nat Hundred!) +1 from overflow = 101 Crit roll
Crit Roll 2 - QM Rolls d 100 = 16 + 20 (Nat Hundred) + 1 overflow = 37 roll Success!
Natural 100 will have a bonus 20 for the next roll.
As a rule of thumb Civilians will have poor rolls or negatives unless they luck out, but they will also have negatives to any combat rolls.
