Well then they need to update it since it say 27/50. Any way that good we if the drawing gain us a 5xp for chlorokinesis.
I wonder if someone make a omake about the Olympians theorizing about us being the one in the prophecy. Would they make Demeter make a oath of not having children because of that theory. I doubt that since she already have other children that can fit the prophecy and none activated it yet. I thing they would to a wait and see approach. Demeter would say in our defense that we are a prodigy since it was shown with our grade we are in. Plus the place we live those help in our growth (not the concept). So us having a talent with our power would not be surprise with that argument. Good thing we only show that we can only grow them faster and more durable in the game.
You Demeter is one of the few Olympian that dose not have a true enemy. She dose not have good relationship with Hade but not a truly bad relationship. That mostly a mother in law relationship that love her daughter to much and those not approve of any man that would marry her. Maybe that why we only have token effort from the undead beside being so young not true hate. Most likely minor test at or a run away. Would not be the first monster that was completely undemented for attacking demi-god's.
I've been a fan of Percy Jackson and the Olympians since Lightning Thief came out, but I never really thought about making fan art for it because I wasn't as into art as I am now. So, it's honestly been a pleasure to make fan art for this quest -- though I fear I'll fall into creating characters with same face syndrome if I do more than a couple, so I'll be sticking with only important characters for now.
I would put the Exp Points into Blossom if I could, but since it doesn't seem like so can... I'll put it into Social as a nod to Blossom's Charmspeak.

You know I always thought of Kyogre of the cooler legendary (sorry Groudon), capable of exerting massive amounts of water and being captured by some random kid with a purple ball.
But now, I see that Pokémon, too, can produce wonderful fanart (not that I can)

I'll admit that it was hard to learn how to use traditional art supplies: traditional art supplies were not designed to be held by Kyogre fins. Not were many of those supplies designed to work underwater. Still... I had fun making this fan art, and look forward to making more (no matter how difficult it may be).
Got any more? And who is that from, the words are familiar, but I don't recognize the speaker? Cause I was kinda hoping there were examples from the main 'normal' Olympians for irrational judgment. Not the antagonist side of the field.
This is mainly because Demeter, like a lot of deities, has had many, MANY domains, spread both across time and her various cults in Greece.
If you want a 'standard' iconography, Demeter's two main cults during the heydey of the Olympian Pantheon (around 700 BC) were located in Arcadia and Eleusia.
In Eleusia Demeter was associated with the traditional farming iconography- fruit, grain and bread. There is no significant animal association, which makes sense given that Nature in general is more under the domain of Gaia. No luck here.
In Arcadia... well, in Arcadia Demeter was most commonly associated with horses. Indeed, one of her early titles there was 'the night-mare' and statues of her in horse form were carved from obsidian or other black rock. It is also from here that we get mention of her as the mother of Arion (the supersonic horse!) when she was.... raped... by poseidon. (Indeed, a few plucky storytellers say that Pegasus is also her child, despite most agreeing that he was Medusa's son). So if anything, our connection would be to horses and horse-like spirits.
I hope that this at least helps to clarify for you!
Edit: Subject to Monk Penguin's interpretations, of course.
Presumably, they are hoping to benefit from his over 3000 years of experience in training heroes as well as develop a bond with him so that he actually cares about us if things go south. Chiron in the myths tends to train heroes rather impartially, without great personal attachment. So hoping to actually develop a relationship with him is a great boon if successful - during the training of Achilles he was able to no-sell the power of Thetis in defence of his student - and even if all else fails, they hope to get IC info on the Great Prophecy or other things.
At least, that is what I would want out of a Chiron social link. Does this make it more clear?
[39][Socialize] Blossom
[18][Socialize] Try and track down Chiron.
[18][Socialize] Justin Gatlin
Trying to put that ominous dream out of your mind, you leave the cabin. It's early in the morning. You don't know the time, but the sun is just peeking above the horizon. You're the only one out here. It's almost eery how quiet it is.
You go and sit by the smoldering fire. You wonder who actually tends to the fireplace. Wait. Fireplace.
"Hello."
You resist the urge to jump and scream as a girl all-but materializes next to you. Well, to be fair, you might have just not noticed her because of magic or some other bullshit like that.
"It's a lovely morning isn't it?" The girl with mousy-brown hair says as she stokes the slowly dying fire. She glances up at you and you see that her eyes are red eyes that make you feel warm inside like you're snuggling up in your bed at home.
Because of that feeling, and that the girl looks either your age or slightly younger, it takes you a moment to process whose presence you're in. You stand.
"Lady He-"
"There is no need for formality," she cuts you off, "Let us simply enjoy the morning together, no?" You get the feeling that this is genuinely a request, rather than an order. That surprises you somewhat, but you see no reason not to bask in the warmth of the fire. It's comforting after your nightmare.
You sit like that with Hestia, relaxing in the early morning. You're not sure how much time passes, but at some point, you get the feeling Hestia is looking at you, so you turn your gaze towards her. She gives you a smile and looks over at the sunrise. You follow her eyes and see that the sun has just separated itself from the horizon. You glance back at Hestia, only to see that she's gone.
That was… a bizarre encounter, but you won't deny that you feel much calmer right now than you did before… whatever that was. You should probably head back to your cabin before Lily wonders where you've gone, after all, breakfast is soon.
Now that you have your head on straight, you need answers. Did you somehow become the child of prophecy? You doubt it, but there's one person in camp who would know better than you, plus you might actually qualify to know the Great Prophecy now that Mr. D has brought it up. Well, actually, there are two, but you doubt Mr. D will give you anything resembling a straight answer.
Now, the only question is how do you find Chiron. It can't be too hard, right? After all, there's only one centaur present in the entire camp. You know he teaches lessons in the afternoon, but where would he be in the mornings? The first place you should look is probably the Big House, after all, his room is there.
As you walk over there, you can hear the campers whispering about you. You can't make out what they're saying about you, but you can guess. It's pretty obvious that things discussed in the counselor meetings don't stay secret unless Chiron specifically tells the counselors not to tell anybody, and even then, word probably gets out eventually. This just reinforces your determination. At this point, you're pretty much used to being a social outcast, it hasn't ever bothered you in this life.
You make your way up to the Big House, and enter. The front door is unlocked. You fumble your way around until you find the door to Chiron's apartment. You knock.
"Hello, ah Sam, what brings you here," Chiron answers the door in full centaur form, and rather than inviting you inside, he steps outside to join you.
"It's about last night, at the meeting."
"Ah, Lord Dionysus's words, I presume. What did you want to know about them?"
"Am I… you know…" gods why can't you just say it.
"Are you the child of prophecy?" He asks. You nod. "For what it is worth, I do not believe so. I am of the opinion that Lord Dionysus was simply trying to scare you."
"Why?"
"I do not presume to know his motives."
"Does it mean anything?"
Chiron glances out the window at the perfectly clear July morning. "I suppose that is up to the rest of the Gods of Olympus."
"What do you mean by that?"
"If they decide that you could possibly be the child of prophecy, it is likely that they will attempt to prevent you from reaching the age of sixteen. The first two lines of the Great Prophecy go as follows:
A half-blood of the eldest gods
Shall reach sixteen against all odds
Should they attempt to prevent you from reaching sixteen, yet you manage to do so anyway, you would qualify in the loosest of terms. However, I would not worry about it. I do not think you are the child of prophecy, and I do like to think I have a knack for such things. That and the fact that today is clear is a sign that Lord Zeus is not yet trying to eradicate you." He chuckles to himself, though you don't find it funny. Then, he looks back at you, his expression serious. It's almost like he's looking through you. "Is there something you wish to tell me? Perhaps a reason you sought me out so soon afterward?"
[][Dream] Tell Chiron about your dream
[][Dream] Don't tell Chiron about the dream.
You peel off towards the strawberry fields to get your thoughts together amongst the plants. It's something you've been doing quite frequently for the week and a little bit you've been at camp. You're pretty sure you've overheard Willow and Lily discussing cutting down on the required time for the other members of your cabin to spend out here because you spend a significant amount of non-scheduled time here.
Interestingly, the qualifications to become the child of prophecy are self-fulfilling in a way. If the gods decide to try and strike you down because you might be the child of prophecy and you survive, then it was certainly against all odds.
You need to think about something else. Oh, there's the lunch bell. You head back to your cabin.
Your cabin tries to act like everything is normal between you and them, and yet it isn't. Mr. D's words have irrevocably changed your relationship with the rest of the Demeter Cabin and you're not sure what to do about it. It's not as though they treat you with hostility, far from it. Each one seems to be reacting in their own way. Lily seems to feel more protective of you. Willow has been trying to figure out as much as she can about the Great Prophecy. Violet is avoiding you. Kalina doggedly questions you about everything whenever you eat and Rosie can't seem to decide whether she wants to be jealous of you or in awe of you. It's disconcerting.
In search of some normalcy, you head over to the Arts and Crafts pavilion, where Blossom seems to spend most of her time. When you get there, she's arranging flowers in a vase.
She glances at you as you enter, but goes back to arranging the flowers. It's a mixture of white and yellow poppies.
"What kind of flower do you think symbolizes you best?" she asks you offhand.
"Huh?" Um, maybe Tulips?"
She glances over at you. "Maybe." She sighs and puts down the flowers. "I heard from Rosie that Sean is the one spreading rumors about you. I didn't think he was the kind of person who would do that."
"Wait, you know him?"
"Yeah, he's the best healer here aside from Chiron, he looked at my legs, remember. I told you this just last week."
"Oh, yeah."
"I swear, for someone so smart, you can be kind of slow sometimes. So what did you come looking for me for?"
"What, can't I just hang out with my best friend sometimes?"
Blossom grins at you, "Want to be my model?"
"What!?"
"Well, I need to learn how to paint the human figure now that I'm getting better at inanimate objects. I figure you'd be the best model because you're small and therefore easy to paint."
There are many things wrong with that statement, but you end up being put on a modeling platform and allowing Blossom to paint you. She's actually pretty good.
This week also brings your first attempt at the climbing wall while it spews lava. You had done a basic climb of it last week with the rest of the cabin, and you had gone back a couple more times to try it out, but now you were going to turn on the most basic hazard. According to Kalina, it was "non-lethal lava," whatever the hell that meant. You still didn't want to get burned.
The timer starts and you make your way up the climbing wall. You start out making sure that you have a solid foothold before you move up, but you're clearly not fast enough to pull off that strategy as the lava starts climbing higher, creeping close to your position. You start to scramble upwards, giving yourself the bare minimum amount of time to ensure that your foothold is solid before pushing off of it. Thankfully, you don't fall, but when you drag yourself over the top, it feels like all of your limbs are on fire. Thankfully, there are stairs down.
When you get to the bottom, you see a familiar face waiting for you. You haven't seen Justin since that fateful counselor meeting, and you hope that he doesn't treat you any differently based on what was said at that meeting.
"You performed well, for a kid of course."
You swallow the urge to tell him that you're "not a kid," because that is possibly the most childish thing you could say. Instead, you opt for, "Thanks, got any tips?"
"You're squeezing the handholds too tight, relax a bit. Hold on just tight enough that you won't fall, any more than that will just wear you out." You note that down in your mind. "So how long have you been able to do that plant thing?" Well, this isn't the worst thing he could ask you about.
"Since always, though I could only make them strong enough to hold a person recently. Before that, I only tested them on some cannon fodder zombies."
Justin gives you another toothy grin. You're beginning to wonder if he has a normal smile hidden somewhere or if it's just toothy grins all the way down. "I look forward to seeing it on Friday against Hermes Cabin."
Hermes, but you distinctly remember Justin was the one carrying the flag, though that would mean that both of the flags belonged to Ares, which wouldn't make sense You decide to just ask him. "Didn't you capture the flag?"
"Did no one tell you the rules about what happens when a cabin gets both flags?" You shake your head. He strokes his chin, affecting a thinker-like pose, "I suppose it wouldn't matter much to your cabin since they hardly ever capture the flag anyway. I expect you to change that tradition by the way," wait, what? "So basically, since we had both of the flags, we got the opportunity to hand it off to another cabin that we teamed up with. I chose to give it to Hermes. Gotta ensure that it's a good fight."
"That makes sense. But what was that you said about-"
"So kid you any good at sneaking around?"
You don't think you've ever snuck around anywhere in this entire life.
"I'll take that as a no, such a shame. If I had more time I'd probably teach you. You seem like you could pull it off."
Before you can ask what he means about not having enough time, he's off, and there's no way your little legs can match that pace without jogging at the very least, and you're still exhausted from the climbing wall.
Friday comes and goes, and you have little effect on the outcome of the capture the flag match. No one actually makes it to your flag by the time Sean runs across the creek and the orange background with a caduceus on it glows as it changes to a white background with a golden sun.
As you head to bed that night, you've become certain that the situation with your cabin-mates won't be resolved by ignoring it, no matter how much you wish that to be the case. If you want things to change, you're going to need to do something about it.

Votes for the next chapter:
Still working out exactly how I want to do the camp time/update. Ideally, I don't want a single summer of camp to drag on too long. I'm going to try and make the next update cover two weeks rather than one, but I may fail, who knows.
Think spending time with our cabin buddies would be good.
@Monk Penguin would spending some time introducing ourselves to the dryads, or even regular plants. Around camp be acceptable? Or the ones in the forest?

why would the plants even care if we introduced ourselves? They are not intelligent in the least. A better way to bond with them would be to do the gardening regularly.

I'm kinda concerned picking Hestia could be a null option, but I like her so I don't mind all that much.
I feel the Blossom option is straightforward, Willow is going to be our next head and she is already beginning to freak out for us, lets maybe try and calm her down. Kalina really wants to know more about us, I think she should be our closest half-sister, and returning with questions about her in kinda will probably merit good results.
So most of our options are people in higher positions within the camp, which is good, but the older campers are more likely to leave from aging out/dying, fostering relationships with younger and newer campers I think will lead to a lot of future-proofing for us.
I could easily be convinced for trying to socialize with Dryads if that is an option we can take, I'd probably drop Willow or Hestia for it.
Personally, I think revealing the dream is potentially dangerous, it may be the safer option in the long run, but in the short term I think we have enough negative attention and I believe that dream could create more and potentially from Chiron himself.
100% we need to address our half-siblings, and personalizing it is gonna be way better than trying to address the group.
